One of the best zoo I’ve ever been. Everything looks good and maintained. A lot of entertainment for kids. The only thing that made me feel sad is kangaroo area where people were able to touch them, it looked as a huge stress for kangaroo.

C' était notre première fois en hiver, il ne faut pas s'attendre à voir tous les animaux que nous voyons en été. Par contre, c' était bien intéressant.

The zoo was pretty packed and with the ongoing strike, some services were unavailable. It was still however a good day out. The alternative parking lot was confusing as the entrance to the parking lot was difficult to find. A dozen or so cars played follow the leader, turning around several times until we found the correct route.

The Zoo is simply amazing! Different zones for kids to see how animals live in other countries. Make sure to have a stroller if you have small kid, because who experience might take you 4-5 hours if you want to see every little piece. Good food court available. Food was greatest but enough to get fed. Bring your own. Prices are very good compared to other activities for a family of 4. Also make sure to plan out the weather if you want to have good experience as some animals are hiding if too cold or sleeping if too hot.

A well-organized layout that made navigating the park a breeze. The diversity of animals is truly impressive, making it feel like a world tour of wildlife. The zoo is clean, well-maintained - lacks significantly in the food department. Food from the cafeteria was very obviously old, cold and crusty. The cafeteria was empty, which is why it seemed most people brought their own lunch. Pricing was outdated on the digital menu (cashier confirmed it's frequently wrong?) . We also took advantage of the water park on site, which was the perfect way to cool down and added an extra layer of fun to our day. Whether you're visiting with family, friends, or even solo, you're guaranteed to have a memorable and enriching experience. DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR OWN FOOD!

What a place. It's not your usual zoo, you have so many sections with different animals categorized by the continent they are from. It feels so great to be close to giraffes that you could nearly touch them. Starting with the African part of the park was a great idea especially seeing how big rhinoceros are 🫣

Granby zoo is a nice place to take the family out for some fun discovering the animals, enjoying rides at the amusement park and water park sections. If you plan on doing everything that the zoo offers it is best to go early. The time I went there, traffic just to get in the park lot was crazy. It's probably best to park at the P1 zoo or P2 zoo parking lots and then take the shuttle to the zoo, its a long wait for the main zoo parking lot, I parked on the street. Entry fee for the zoo is expensive for a family of 4 depending on the children's age can cost $200 around. As usual when you go to the zoo the animals love to be away from the sun, hiding somewhere in the shade (not at animals). Overall good experience. Didn't go to the amusement park. The water park was really packed, the water temp was fine and the kids had lots of fun. The only issue i had is the parking and the crowds. Granby zoo is excellent. Buy your tickets online so u don't have to wait in line

Granny Zoo is our favorite zoo, the zoo has four villages most recommended are African and Australian and the train ride also recommended. Recommend to get the zoo map at the front door or from any kiosk .Also you save by get the zoo bracelet for your little one will get 10$ credits and free cotton candy All those details can be found in their website specially now the zoo offer 20$off for adult ticket. Hope the park separate between zoo ticket and water parks so get the zoo. Ticket with less price ( not all enter the park have time to do three visit in same day specially we are not taking about annuel passes) ALSO the stuff are very very kind ,like their smell and assistance even their effort to speak English even some of them didn’t know but they try the max to assist us ( appreciate it) ALSO I like how next to any place there is sink to wash you hand

Incredible nice place for kids and grownups. We liked the layout of different areas with animals based of their location they lived. The playground and pools are very well designed. You need more than 1 visit to see and enjoy all the options.

Parking was an absolute nightmare. I don't get it. The zoo's website doesn't tell you that you should basically park in the streets in order to avoid that whole clusterfart. Trust me, do yourself a favor and walk a little. Second, you should really buy your tickets online so you avoid further wait time. Third, begins with Africa if you want actually to see animals. Four, the roller coasters are lame. I mean, many rides are closed or not free and that "jeton" thing is confusing and useless. Other than that, it's a pretty good place and the waterpark is relieving👍

Off season visit so no crowds. Animals were active. Nice selection. Afternoon was all we needed. Recommend you attempt to determine when zookeepers are doing presentations with various animals as it adds to experience, although we did not see the times posted. Perhaps we simply missed it.

If you’re looking for a fun-filled day out with your little ones, this place is perfect. There are tons of exciting attractions and interactive areas that’ll keep the kids entertained from start to finish. Don’t forget to pack a picnic lunch and bring your swim gear - you’ll be all set to enjoy the day. And if you need a stroller or wagon, they have rentals available, so you can relax and enjoy the day without any worries.

Me and my family had a great time. The staff was great. Loved that they had different types of animals from all around the world. The rides are more on the smaller side, but they are good. The water park is great, and my family and I really enjoyed it.

I was quite impressed by this zoo, it even had a water park, very cool. I saw animals not seen at other zoos. I really liked the exhibit with the bats and other animals that live in the dark, I felt like I was in a cave. The staff I encountered spoke both French and English and were quite helpful. Highly recommend at least visiting once even as an adult.

The Granby Zoo is one of Canada's bigger zoos and is open year-round. In winter, it’s open on weekends, and tickets are cheaper. It's also less busy than in summer. Visiting then gives a totally different vibe — fewer people around and animals like the snow leopards are super active. There are a bunch of indoor spots too, like places with giraffes and elephants, and I highly recommend checking out the South Pacific Odyssey Aquarium. There’s also a kids’ play area with a slide. Make sure to dress really warm — it’s freezing!

Had a great time here on a family visit. There's lots of animals to see - the elephants and snow leopards were a personal favourite of mine. The picnic area was nice, and was nice and shaded as well. This is a great place for kids because there's lots for them to see and there's different things setup for the kids to play on along the way. It's a good way to keep the kids entertained! I would definitely come back!

Was a nice place. We got there after lunch when it was hot outside so naturally the animals were mostly chilling or sleeping in the shade. The aquarium was amazing. The rays touch tank was the highlight of the zoo. Those little rats are the puppies of the ocean. Could have stayed for days loving those amazing creatures.

Amazing place for a family outing and to help the kids get familier and closer with animals and nature. Really enjoyed our time there. Its a must to go place. They (the zoo) also have an amusement park and a water park with various rides. I took combined tickets for the zoo and amusement park. Kids really enjoyed and loved it. They are already ready to go there again next time. They also have a hotel if you are looking to stay for a night or two to enjoy all three activities. I will be going back soon. Until next time. 😊☺️ I took a lot of pictures but unable to share them all due to the privacy of my kids.

Pros: The zoo is an open concept, you will get to come face to face with a lot of animals without having a glass barrier and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to pet one of them! Cons: Worst zoo I’ve probably seen in my entire life. 1- Confusing map, and no signs whatsoever to tell you where you at. Just walk in and once you reach a habitat you will find a sign with which habitat. 2- Most habitats are either closed ot empty, one visit you’ll see 10% of the animals available. 3- Tickets are way too overpriced for such a zoo. I’d say 20$ is a max for such a zoo. Do not buy food there, its a rip off, one burger “patty, lettuce, tomato” trio with barely any fries and one poutine were 37$!!! 4- Animals look in a very bad condition, some of them even live in a 2x2m cubicles with limited access to nature and fake trees everywhere. 5- No surveillance whatsoever, a lot of minorities were just screaming at the animals, a lot of these animals have sensitive hearing, at least put a sign to warn others since some people feel entitled and are disrespectful to these species. There are more issues with this zoo but i just wanted to share the most important ones. It’s absolutely not recommended to visit there, go to a pet shop you will probably see more animals there! Pictures below will give an idea of the fake trees, dead ones which aren’t much cared for, and the conditions of some animals and how they are locked in tiny cubicles.

We had a family trip to the Zoo of Granby. We really enjoyed out time there, it was Monday so there were no so many crowds and we could see lots of animals, we had lunch on picnic area, we also went to water park and did river of adventure. It was fun. 🤩 it was a rainy afternoon, but it didn’t spoil our trip. Recommending!👍

It was truly unbelievable – an amazing lifetime memory! Thank you, thank you, thank you! September turned out to be the perfect time to visit: no lines, comfortable weather – not too hot, not too cold – and all the animals were out enjoying the sunshine. A special thank you for providing dedicated rooms for mothers to feed their little ones – such a thoughtful detail. Everything was simply wonderful, and we will definitely be coming back in a few years! Thank you once again.

I went to the Granby Zoo recently for 2 days and I really enjoyed it. We also took the night tour and saw the big cats and other predators. I recommend getting the night tour and going to the zoo for more than one day’s. The zoo is big and there is a water park at the end.

Went with my wife to Granby Zoo near Montreal on a late Sunday. The zoo is divided into different continents, which makes walking through the animal exhibits really fun. I thought it was especially cool that you can pet the goats at the petting area, a great activity for couples or families. A few of the cages were missing animals during our visit, which was a bit disappointing, but the parking lot was very easy to use and right by the entrance. The entrance fee is on the pricey side, so I’d recommend visiting in the summer when the water park is open, it really makes the day feel worth it. Overall, Granby Zoo is a fun, educational outing with lots to see, and it’s a great way to spend a full day exploring animals and exhibits.

I love this place, especially the waterpark. But first the zoo. The zoo is really good, its divided into different continents and I had fun seeing all the animals. The waterpark has 2 wavepools. One really big which i go a lot. Theres a lazy river, slides and more. The reason i am removing a star is the fact that it took me 30 minutes to get a picture for my membership at a building next to the entrance. I recommend buying the summer pass!

We go to this zoo every year. So beautiful the way they arranged it, and it’s more dense than the one in Calgary Alberta I’ve been to, and I’m guessing the one in Toronto too cause that one is 700 square kilometers so it must be a lot of walking lol. Has a cool aquarium and insects area too. They used to have a cool dinosaur themed area but idk why they removed it. And it has a water park, amusement rides, and a 7D theater….WHAT?!?💙🔥

I like the concepts of having so many things to do in one location. I also think the animals should have more space. If they took away the rides and water park, the animals would be able to have bigger enclosures. It's a zoo and I only went because it was my job. Many zoos have animals that don't do much. Sleep mostly. Granby is the same. Tip: Go early so you can do all the activities and bring lunch. Everything was closed.

Granby Zoo is an incredible place to visit! With zero wait time on a weekday, I could explore at a relaxed pace and take in all the amazing exhibits. The zoo has a fantastic variety of animals, from majestic big cats to playful primates, making it a truly engaging experience. The enclosures are well-maintained, and the animal presentations are informative and enjoyable. Whether you're an animal lover or just looking for a fun and educational outing, Granby Zoo is definitely worth a visit!
