I
believe
5
stars
are
given
out
a
little
too
flippantly
on
here.
The
same
could
be
said
for
1
star
reviews.
I’m
really
trying
to
take
emotion
out
of
my
reviews
and
be
honest
about
rating.
With
that
said
there
are
only
a
few
things
that
made
this
a
4
instead
of
a
5.
Background:
My
wife
and
I
came
for
happy
hour
and
bites.
I
got
a
Mai
Tai,
and
my
wife
got
and
old
fashioned
followed
by
a
martini
with
bleu
cheese
olives.
We
shared
the
pork
bites
and
spinach
dip.
The
total
with
20%
tip
was
$98.
First
the
great:
-Ambiance.
Really
nice
materials
used,
comfortable
seating.
Tons
of
windows
in
the
bar
area.
-The
service
was
great.
Friendly.
And
two
different
bar
tenders
serving
guests
behind
the
bar.
-The
pork
bites.
They
are
as
good
as
everyone
says.
-The
old
fashioned
was
really
well
made
and
balanced.
Not
too
sweet.
-The
martini
with
bleu
cheese
olives.
Banger.
I
love
it
when
the
shake
the
heck
out
of
it
and
the
ice
shards
are
poured
through.
The
not
so
good:
-the
Mai
Tai.
I
love
Mai
Tais,
and
I
actually
didn’t
even
finish
this
one.
It
kinda
didn’t
really
taste
like
a
Mai
Tai
or
something?
I
can’t
quite
put
my
finger
on
it,
just
not
great.
-The
truffle
spinach
artichoke
dip.
I
feel
like
the
truffle
just
over
powered
the
dish.
It
didn’t
stop
me
from
eating
it,
so
it
was
still
palatable—it
was
just
not
worth
the
price.
Particularly
considering
the
dip
is
paired
with
average
bag
chips,
not
house
made.
-Speaking
of
price.
For
Happy
Hour
at
a
nice
steak
house
I
anticipate
spending
a
little
about
average
of
course.
However
two
people
with
2
small
bite
plates
and
3
drinks
for
nearly
a
hundred
bucks
with
tip
skews
a
little
over
the
top.
Not
crazy,
just,
noticeable—especially
considering
the
sun-par
drink
and
a-ok
dip.
Summary:
All
in
all
it’s
a
really
good
spot.
If
you
don’t
mind
dropping
a
bill
minimum
every
once
and
a
while
and
find
the
stuff
you
like,
I’d
recommend
it.
We
also
will
be
returning
for
sure.
(Just
won’t
be
regulars
because
we
do
have
a
mortgage
lol)
