We had a wonderful time! The show and actors were engaging, entertaining, and provided lots of laughs. The food and drinks were great! Will definitely recommend for a fun evening out, whether as a group or as a couple.

Celebrated my 49th birthday at Texas Star Dinner Theater tonight. It was a surprise from my husband and we all had the best time --- even our 13 year old, and y'all know how tough it can be to entertain teens these days! She got really into it and had so much fun. The actors were fantastic and did a great job of engaging the audience. The food was about average, but the show more than made up for it. We enjoyed ourselves so much that the food merely became a bonus. Service was great and a good time was had by our whole family. I think we'd be up for doing it again sometime. Thanks for the laughs!

A friend was in town and wanted to try something different. The Write Between The Eyes was a pretty good murder mystery dinner. Actors were great and loved how they engaged with the audience before hand (already in character). My team and other teams guessed the correct answer on who did it, but I do wish we were all able to get a prize (even if it was something small as cups). Only one table was asked to get the shirts (pulled from a hat). But otherwise it was entertaining and funny.

No matter where I travel, I find a dinner theater. This was better than most. Usually the food is good and the show not so much, or show good food bad. This place, both were good. The show very well acted and had a nice story line. I got country fried steak and was the best I have had in a long time. I really recommend Texas Star Dinner Theater. I even guess the killer, first time ever.

Me and my boyfriend visited here and had a great time. I think you need to have a sense of humor and be able to take a joke, the cast was very funny and cracked a lot of jokes toward the audience but I believe it is their way of being interacting with us and making you feel a part of the show. Good food, the portions were huge! We went for our anniversary date, we had a great time, would recommend!

This was a really fun as entertaining time. I really enjoyed the show and the performers were hilarious. It was fun to see them roll with the crowd and themselves. If you do go please, please read the about the theater etiquette. Let the actors do their jobs, a little back and forth is fun but don't keep going please. We had a guy are our show that was almost unbearable. The staff was very professional and got things back on track. I would definitely go again.

The food was fabulous and the servers were great. Unfortunately, there were so many sexual connotations in the the show, I was extremely mortified when my 13 year old said at the end of the show: "I was surprised how many inappropriate comments there were." I wish I had known ahead of time that this was not family oriented.

Went last night with a friend. This was a week before Christmas. We left home extra early to make sure we arrived in time to the venue. But didn’t help because there was NO designated parking for this venue. WARNING:SO much traffic,NO parking ANYWHERE!!! Total chaos!! NO police directing traffic nor anyone helping with parking. You take your chances parking wherever you can! We HAD to park 5 blocks away from the Texas Dinner Theater and had trouble crossing the streets due to traffic!Hard to enjoy the evening and experience without worrying if car was being towed! Again: SO much traffic!! In addition venue didn’t open doors until after 7:30pm. Once inside, crowded seating and mediocre food. Show performance was like any you would see at your local theme park. Would NOT recommend to anyone! NOT worth the money and the frustration it caused!!! 👎🏻👎🏻

The dinner part of the dinner theater was good, the drinks were well worth the money. The show was 5 actors in period costumes and they gave a great performance. They were funny, interactive with the audience members and very entertaining. I laughed myself silly. We enjoyed our evening and we will be coming back.

The show was pretty funny and we enjoyed it and the actors. FYI: Don't wear a " stand out" shirt unless you are ok with being picked on. Food was not all that special. Chicken fried steak was really tough and hard to cut or chew.

The food was very good. I wish it was in bigger portion however so if you’re starving I recommend eating a bit before going. The crew and service is really amazing. You stay engaged for the whole show and want to find out who the murderer is. Recommend for a fun family outing or even a date night.

The mystery dinner was great but my chicken fried steak was stringy and chewy. We will definitely go again but get a different entree. We had a great time!

So much fun! We sat at a table of 2 sets of women we didn't know, but had a blast! Food was good, but not exceptional. Actors were great!

This place was so much fun! I usually have a pretty good time at venues like these, but I think most people will enjoy a cute bit of theater and a fun meal! There is plenty of parking nearby. The “theater” Is also the dining area, so you are in the thick of it! Don’t worry though - it is only mildly interactive, so even the introverts like me will be ok. The tables seat six, so be aware you will be meeting some new friends unless you are in a group of six or more. Just an fyi, they encourage small children to stay at home to ensure the experience is enjoyable for everyone. Fun times!

Heard a lot about this establishment some good some not, and figured I’d see what it had to offer. We were seated next to a young couple who were having a good time, laughing pretty loud but enjoying themselves during the show. The woman got up, I assumed to use the restroom and never came back. Her date/(husband I think) wondering where she’d gone was concerned and asked the staff if they’d seen her. They informed him that she had been escorted out of the venue. Understandably, he got pretty irate. I thought it was extremely excessive, discriminatory and uncalled for. They were treated terribly. If there was something they’d done that was not “appropriate” or was disruptive, they management should spoken to the man and explained. We didn’t see anything disruptive until management informed the husband his wife had been kicked out. Despicable! Can’t think of a better word. I’m never going back, and you should think twice before going here.

I absolutely loved it . The food was nicely done. Performers involved from the moment you walk in. Had many fun moments. Humor is adult. Was surprised to see younger children. Will definitely be back.

The food was tasty, the cast was uniformly excellent and the show was hilarious. Could not think of a better way to spend our anniversary. This is a show you need to see.

Excellent experience! Went for a company event and while I wasn't sure how it would be since I've never been to something like this, I can say that it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the actors did a splendid job engaging the audience and keeping us entertained from beginning to end. 10/10 and have recommended to all my friends to go. Definitely would attend again.
