Went on Sunday for a roast. Staff really friendly and the roast was amazing! I Had a roast dinner wrap.. see photo! It was amazing!!! Partner had roast beef which was also lovely! We will be back!

Came here with the Husband and Dog on a Sunny Sunday afternoon. We were booked in to the dog friendly library area but opted to sit outside since the sun was out. We shared nachos for starters. He had cod and chips and I had the beef ciabatta. Can't fault the food. The staff were all very attentive. In particular what I can only assume was either the manager or owner (South African accent I think??) was going around interacting with everybody and made it feel really welcoming and friendly. He was super friendly and funny and certainly stood out to us. Thank you, we'll be back!

Always a fabulous welcome from the charismatic landlord, the staff are smartly dressed, very courteous and provide top quality service. This is my go-to restaurant if I want good food and a nice time without the fear of being ket down or disappointed. Oh, and the have a dog friendly area too!

Went for birthday celebrations. Staff very attentive and polite. The food was amazing. The lamb just fell off the bone and their Christmas turkey burger was fab, highly recommend.

Fantastic pub.... beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, brilliant service, really lovely attentive, friendly staff....vegan fish and chips a must....stand out home cooked food....very impressive overall...will be back for sure and highly recommend!!!

Beautiful environment with warming log fires throughout a real old fashioned feel. Staff ok but had to work at conversation. Breakfast nicely presented, excellent poached eggs. Bacon rock hard, bent my fork. Would have preferred less bread and a second sausage. £10 95 for breakfast. Just under £30 for two persons Inc a coffee each

Visited with family for boxing day and was fantastic. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was amazing and service excellent. Cannot wait to book again for next year! Thank you
