This Jimmy John's is always clean. The guys working here are fast, kind, and fun. Always get great food here. It is my go to location. Keep up the good work!

My obese autistic brother loves it's here. He would eat here everyday if he could and was ordering delivery constantly. He's not socially smart though and doesn't understand services very well, but we've been trying to train him to be better. He is wheelchair bound for a majority of the day and can only stand for a little bit at a time. Even though the location is only across the busy street, the lady that delivered told him he needed to start walking across to pick up instead. This was very upsetting and after she left he broke down in tears and started talking suicidaly and we had to get him admitted. Please train your staff to be more accepting of people with mental health issues. I know this is a busy location and times are hard for all of us... But it's really important we all come together with love and kindness, not bitterness and hurt.

Never disappointed with this location. From what they told me, they are incredibly understaffed from all of the kids returning to school, so they are working extra hard. The staff is always incredibly friendly, When I do order deliveries, they are always on time, and the sandwiches are always delicious… #14 especially >:-O Thank you Grayslake Jimmy John’s for never letting me down. 5 stars. Would give more if I could.

Jimmy John's is ok not great just ok

Both times I went there recently my sandwich had to be made 3 times. The order taker could not seem to understand my order, which was without a lot of what usually goes on the sandwich. She actually stopped to explain what is usually on it. That I knew, I just didn't want it. The sandwich had to be made 3 times both times because of wrong instructions. I talked to the manager, who is pretty prickly. I don't recommend talking to her. A lot of waste is likely occurring from instructions that are not included on the order. This was a first that the manager seemed mean to me. We won't be stopping there in the future.

They make very good sandwiches. Everything is always fresh. And true to their word, the smells are free. The included picture was taken a few years ago when they were giving away free turkey and ham sandwiches. Not a lot of other places give away a whole sandwich!

Sandwich was supposed to be no tomato. Had no mayo. Waste of money. Food allergy. Redelivery offered but my office was closed by then. No money back.

Order was 15mins late with wrong drink ordered a bottle sprite got a bottle water) - Let driver know “was promised they will be right back with sprite” (never did) - call Grayslake store asking for a update on my drink? “store wasn’t aware of promise driver made. asked me if I want store credit or drink?” Asked for drink due to me traveling for work. Was promised it will be there shortly. Never came (another 15mins) called again was told “ I asked for store credit” let them know I did not ask for that and was told there is nothing they can do for me other then store credit.

JJ should mean Jump for Joy, their sandwiches are pure fun and very filling, love Jimmy John's,keep up the good work!!

Got fired for a family medical emergency. Had missed 2 shifts before so i was on thin ice as is . But A family member that lives with me tried to kill themselves and and it was huge issues i was dealing with. So he let me go because i missed that day. I tried to come and talk with reason. But because he was stressed about findind a cover for his shift and me missing 2 other days he let me go. Everyone else there are amazing people and work hard and understood but ALEX is his name did not and chose to fire me instead. And i know everyone deals with stuff but in all and all he was saying i shouldve come in and let my family member off them selves . So next time you thinking about ordering jimmy johns try subway instead.

Sent the wrong sandwich entirely. Ordered and paid for a club - received turkey and mustard on plain bread with no toppings whatsoever. Not even lettuce. For $10 a sandwich this is ridiculous. Will never order from this location again.

Every time I order from here it takes over an hour to deliver 5 min from restaurant. And same answer from phone call is that they are very busy. Last and final order was today

They were out of capicola. No big deal, they said they could substitute with double salami. I asked if instead they could just do ham (which is cheaper). They refused and said that was against the rules. Talk about poor leadership. Clearly this is a reasonable request, costs less and makes the customer happy…but the employee did not have the right to make that call. I am always saddened to see places that treat their employees with such disregard as to their ability to make the right call.

Staff is friendly. Store is clean. Subs are made consistently well. The guys at this location are awesome.

Unfortunately I have to update this because I have the SAME ISSUE everytime I order from here. Every order comes with stale, rock hard bread.. Every. Single. Time. Since it would be impossible to NOT notice while making the sandwich, that means it's being done intentionally. This shop sends customers sandwiches made on stale left-out bread to cut costs and hopes people will just accept it. Who knows what other poor food handling practices are going on here just so some boomer can make a buck.

Whenever I was next door taking driving lessons to get my license, I would grab a sandwich from here once in a while, and it would be great. nice staff and good food
