La Casa De Sabores

Restaurant Spanish restaurant Dominican restaurant

👍👍 La Casa De Sabores is the reason I avoid chain restaurants. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The restaurant itself is small, but very clean. I highly suggest eating here. I’ll definitely be back soon. Oh, and their tres leches cake is amazing! People often mention great, friendly, left, good, restaurant, Dominican, order, rice,

Wow!!! This place is amazing. The flavorful food and the great value for your buck. It seems to be a family own establishment very humble wish adds to the great appeal of this place. I made sure to try every single item they had on the line and they were very accommodating. If you are ever in the eastern part of Buffalo near Buffalo state come check them out. You will not be disappointed.

I'm Dominican and was so happy when we finally got this Dominican restaurant in Buffalo. Never had any complaints in all the years I've gone there. It saddens me that my last visit wasn't memorable. My daughter took me there for my birthday and we expected to be served like before. It was like eating at a fast food restaurant like BurgerKing. You order, pay and sit down to eat. I wanted some pernil but what they had was some fat left. I asked the lady if they had pernil and she showed me what was on displayed. Didn't get chicharrones de pollo because it was mostly crumbs left so I got the ribs. Ribs had a lot of fat. Our food was given to us in take out plates. From the time I got up to order the food til I sat down was about 15 minutes. The food was okay. Where did my Dominican cooks go. It was so disorganized. By the time we left, the line was almost out the door because they were taking so long to serve one customer. $60 was not worth paying for 3 meals. So sad😥.

I went in for a light lunch and just got yellow rice with beans, and plantains. The food was excellent, the portions were generous, and it was very affordable. I can't wait to go back to try more--everything looked and smelled delicious. The people working there do a great job with everything.

I am form Puerto Rico, is a good place to try something similar but not with all the flavor that Puerto Rico have. The conch was bland and just a few, It was more onion and pepper. Nice to have the Medalla is a PR beer. I recommend the place if you never try PR food before.

The owner, Carlos, is attentive and friendly. The food was good! 4 of us ate (one from DR) & all were happy with what we got. If you're looking for fancy, this isn't it. I'll be back. It's comfortable and portions were big! Two of us were Gluten free & food options weren't a problem. The 10% Veteran's discount was appreciated. Support this locally owned business.

The food is absolutely delicious. The service is A+. They serve only the best & with pride. After eating my friend wanted to take home a small order of Mangu with Onions & the gentlemen told her that it would be a wait because they were making some fresh, she asked about what was left behind the counter. He politely told her that the food that was there was the scraps of what was left & he would not feel good selling that to her because it had dried some. I was so happy with his reply. We left with a fresh batch & smiles

Love the small family owner Dominican restaurant off the beaten path. Some of the best pork I've ever had any Caribbean style. restaurant in Buffalo. Excellent barbecue chicken and barbecued ribs as well. The serving of rice is enough to feed you for 2 days.Awesome set up an amazing price is pretty definitely check this place out

The food was amazing! I haven't had Dominican food in ages and this was like I never left the Bronx. Everything was amazing. I was just missing the potato ball. I will be back. It was also my husband's first time trying Spanish food he was also impressed. The amount of food you get for the price is a steal! We ate lunch and dinner off of one plate its huge and delicious

Amazing value for the amount of food you get. The rice and chicken I got was delicious. Simple but great depth of flavor. The girl’s assisting my family and I were helpful and very friendly. I can’t wait to go back and try even more things.

Love this restaurant! I have only eaten their food when I did takeout and at a friends party! Their rice and beans is great and primarily the only thing vegetarian. Very good service too!

The hospitality is second to none, and the food is better! The helpings are large and the taste... is unreal. I am not normally at a loss for words, but the best? I say yes! I have always loved Hispanic cuisine, but these people are over the top! Until you taste the food, I can not overemphasize it. You gotta try this place!

Ordered a medium plate to go: 2 meats (ribs/chicken) over rice & beans, optional: veggies battered and deep fried, sweet plantains. Delicious food, generous portions, incredibly friendly staff. Street parking, probably best that your first visit happens during daylight hours. Otherwise, follow your nose

My husband is a truck driver and he said the food here is phenomenal! He loves stopping at new non-chain restaurants for this reason. But I’m leaving the review to say THANK YINZ for sending his card back to us. You have no idea how much we appreciate it!!

Highly recommend. Great food, friendly staff, great prices & portions! The building is small with a few tables for dine in customers but most people take their order to go. Their main meats/ rice/ beans are pre cooked so no need to order ahead. You can just run in, order, & be on your way in 5 min. They do offer online ordering thru a 3rd party app as well.
