We got lucky and were able to walk in one evening without a reservation. The traditional, regional dishes are delicious and have all locally sourced ingredients. I would go back in a heartbeat.

An institution serving regional food near the Grenoble train station. Service was efficient and friendly enough but nothing more. The serving plates were not clean. We got the gratin de ravioles au bleu and tartiflette. The gratin was good but the tartiflette was made in different way than the ones we usually eat – it was basically large slices of potatoes and bacon in liquid cream and a slice of roblochon on top. Tarte aux noix was too sweet for it to be enjoyable.

Visit colleagues and quite reasonable price. You can get English menu through internet by scanning QR code. Chicken or ham is nice. Be careful of big portion especially burger or Chicken lol

This place is beyond our expectations. We have been visiting it for three months and every time we are very delighted with the food. At noon there is plat de jour for 10,70 euro + dessert for 3 euro. The desserts are amazing as well. At the evenings we order something from the menu. Tonight we tried chicken meat with morel sauce and gratin, and salad du marché. The sauce was WOW, the other food too. Strongly recommend to try the food here.

It is a really nice restaurant, the staff are super nice and always at your service. The menu is really good, they have vegetarian options. The meals are traditionally French and they also have a lot of cheese based options. They have good selection of wine and I think the prices are good too. A meal for two could set you back €40-€50 which isn’t bad in my opinion. The restaurant also has a nice ambiance about it. It has this vibe of being an old winter restaurant for the adventurers of the mountain region.

Great way to experience real regional food. Everything is tasty and the restaurant atmosphere is almost like a farm one. Recommended to visit when in Grenoble!

Country French cuisine at its best! Nothing petite here! Delicious bottles of wine and your life is not complete if you don't experience reclette!

Oh what a find...! Fabulous atmosphere, servers with that unique French "manner"... Food: Onglet de Boeuf was delicious 😋 Pommes Dauphinois I could have eaten as a meal on their own..! 😋 The only slight dissapointment was their Creme caramel, 😔 the Creme brule from the Gare Brasserie was so much better.😋 Overall a super French experience..! I'll be back next month 😊

OMG the food here is amazing. I had steak with morel mushroom sauce and daupinoise potatoes. It was sublime. Very French, lots of locals. Serves raclette. Don't go if you don't like the smell of cheese. Do book. Do go if you want the most exquisite, rich, delicious regional cooking.

Amazing place. I really like the personal, some of them speak English and they are very nice. The interior is always so catchy for the eye, because of lot of details, I love it. One of the places you would go to with a friend who's first time in Grenoble.

Great fondue savoyarde aux Cepes. With a nice beer of the Mont Blanc brewery 'la verte' a very good choice. Very large portions! Great atmosphere in the restaurant, good service ! A great aperitive 'eaux Des noix'. Taste like port wine

A great experience here! Arrived in Grenoble and was attracted by the traditional cuisine they offered and the unique decor. I was surprised by how friendly the waiters were! They were very welcoming and I was promptly seated outdoors, we had a friendly conversation (they spoke English well!), and the food was ready in no time. . I had the traditional potatoes, cream and bacon bake, with a green salad and meat cut side, and of course, a glass of a local red. Good hearty meal after a long trip to get here. If you’re super hungry, after good value, with very nice staff then head here!

Delicious food and amazing crew. Very recommended restaurant for rustic french meals. If you go, ask for the lady/cashier with short hair. She'll make sure you'll have the best time :)
