The parking entrance is extremely hard to find if you have never been here. Pull over in front of the hotel and check with the front desk. They'll give you a map and an entrance ticket. The parking space is shared by a lot of different business. Once you get into the parking space, you need to follow the Novotel sign faithfully to move yourself to the space near to the hotel elevator. Every day, you need to get a new parking ticket from the front desk as the old one is returned to the machine once you exit the parking. Staff here are friendly and willing to help. My shower room got flooded easily and it was fixed the very next day I raised this. The heater in my room is broken. The staff gave me a mobile heater and it works pretty well. Breakfast here is good with a lot of choices. But it is always the same throughout my 16 days of stay. Novotel has no glass / Mug in the guest room. All you have are disposable paper cups.

My recent stay at Novotel Grenoble Centre was largely positive. The hotel's strategic location next to the train station made our travels incredibly convenient. We found the rooms to be a bit dated, but they were generally clean and comfortable, offering a satisfactory level of comfort for our stay. Although there was a minor hiccup upon our arrival as the kids' beds weren't made up, the hotel staff promptly addressed the issue and ensured everything was sorted out to our satisfaction. Their responsiveness and willingness to assist left a positive impression. Parking at the hotel's underground facility was practical, yet a bit limited. While we didn't personally encounter difficulties finding a spot, it's worth noting that latecomers might face some challenges due to the limited availability. This could potentially be a concern during busier times. The hotel's standout feature remains its superb location. The proximity to the train station was a major plus, offering us easy access to transportation and reducing travel-related stress. This convenience significantly enhanced our overall experience. In conclusion, our stay at Novotel Grenoble Centre was a good one. The convenient location, responsive staff, and comfortable albeit slightly dated rooms contributed to a pleasant experience. The minor issues we encountered were swiftly resolved. I would give this hotel a strong 4.5-star rating, considering its advantageous location and positive attributes.

The room temp control was not in working order. Apparently other rooms had problems with no heat. My room was changed with a little convincing and the heat worked! Yay. It gets the job done. Restaurant is good. Love the food here. Service is very good as well.

Air conditioning broken, 35 degrees in the room. Dirty incl. hair on the floor everywhere. Not a single hanger for cloth. Shower gel empty. It’s not looking like their pictures at all, which are 100% photoshopped. They could not give me another room, as fully booked. No other hotel available in the city with reception open late. I am sure room 503 AC was broken for a while, they just don’t give a s… to fix it. No idea how anyone can give it a positive review, it’s in totally run down and disgusting. The only nice thing about this place was a poor guy at the reception, who was trying to find a solution. But there was nothing he could do. Technician on the phone was also useless.

Not great not terrible. Hotel is clean, furniture is dated but the bathroom was recently renovated. Breakfast is average and the gym doesnt have working A/C. I appreciated the daily complementary water bottle. Parking is 14Euro/night and you need to ask the reception a parking ticket every time you want to go out, very annoying. To access by car you need to use the entrance of the “Parking Gares-Europole” and follow “Parking Hotel” signs.

Been visiting this place from 2002. Not much changed ever since. Very good one for a business trip. Breakfast is ok, access, connectivity all good. The only problem you will have is with the parking. I have never seen such a adventurous path for a parking. The scratches all over is a solid proof that the space is clearly not enough for manoeuvring a big suv. Locating it, entering it, and finding the slot for parking is all a pain. Rest are ok, if you manage this.

Large, clean and quite room. I wish my request to fix the bathroom mirror light and bath tub outlet would have been fulfilled promptly. For the price charged stuff should be working and a technician available. The breakfast had a very good selection, especially of cereals and bread. But I really didn't like the scrambled eggs.

Perfect for being right in the middle of town at the main train and tram station. Fantastic staff. Nice restaurant on premises. Great daily breakfast. How about bringing your chain to the US? Si vous plait.

I stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The facility was clean, I loved the breakfast and the personnel were attentive and considerate. If I’m in Grenoble again, I’d be glad to stay again

I came with my company to do our Christmas lunch. The special menu that the restaurant propose was fantastic. The staff was very careful that we would have everything we needed. I recommended for all the companies next to the presqu'ile that want to celebrate not too far.

I would give 5 Star minus if possibile. Due to a very low parking Garage we werde forced to Park in Front of the hotel. The receptionist confirmed the space belongs to the hotel. Over night someone broke into the car and the car behind us. After confronting the hotel that from the reception they have a view on the spot and asked them why they dient take Action, the response was: this is not a parking spot of the hotel. (beside it is the official stop and drop lane of the hotel) They did not call the Police and were not helpfull at all. No refund was done, not even a coffe offered...... Never again

Great experience overall, the rooms were clean and comfortable, very centric, good views and also the hotel provided services. We will come again next time we visit Grenoble.

I have stayed here a couple of times. The first time, check-in was incredibly slow, with just one member of staff working at the front desk. The second time was much better. Rooms are quite large. The furniture is new, but the walls and doorways are dated looking. Breakfast is OK but not as good as other Novotel hotels I’ve stayed at. There is a small selection of bread, cereals, croissants, yogurts, pancakes/waffles etc, plus some nuts and dried fruit. Cooked items include domestic pig remains in two formats (bacon and sausage) and a tray of yellow slime. This is presumably supposed to represent scrambled eggs but tastes strange and seems to have come from a packet rather than genuine hens’ eggs.

One of the best place to stay in Grenoble. Next to train and tram station and nearby markets will help to get other stuffs easily.

I'm a gold member but maybe I wasn't lucky for this hotel. The bed wasn't clean, it was full of hair, they changed my room and unfortunately the 2nd room, the toilets were not clean. Apparently, I talked to some people their and they said that's not the first time that happens. According to the reception its not the hotel's fault but the one cleaning. I'm not waiting for any message from the hotel to excuse but at least they should take action.

It is clear that the hotel is not new for a long time, but well done for trying to keep everything clean. However, the breakfast needs better, there were still 30 minutes before the end of breakfast, and the tables were almost empty, I left the hotel hungry...

Overall we have been satisfied with our stay (one night / family) Friendly staff, good breakfast, location central and with that optimal to explore the city. The bed was a little hard and some items in the hotel are broken (flipper in the lobby, fitness room), minor issues. Parking is possible via hotel own area in the parking garage of the 'gare europole' train station. note: There are two ramps after another for this Parkhouse. The second shows "Hotel parking" on the sign and needs to be used. We missed this info and parked in the public area of this parking garage for 29€/night instead (Vs hotel parking 14€/night)

Nice hotel, well located and the staff were great! The roof terraces on the 8th floor have fabulous views, and the car park is secure, cool and very close.

The service at the reception was too confusing. I wouldn't say those receptionist girls were professional. We fully paid before coming to this city and the girl of the reception said she is not sure if any of their room is available or not!!! Although we got our room after a couple of hour. The room was good and had a beautiful mountains view and a very big window. But when we try to make some coffee we noticed that the coffee packets are already empty!!!! that little tiny refrigerator didn't work at all and once the tissue paper has finished they never filled it up !!! so we went out and bought some tissue paper. The next morning we went down for breakfast. I would say the breakfast was good untill I saw one of their staff was trying to slice a big bread with a knife and suddenly the knife fell down and the staff didn't even hesitate to pick it up and continued to slice the bread !!! It was so disgusting and disturbing to eat after that. I've never seen such a thing in my life!!! We stayed 2 nights there so when the day of check out came at 10 am the cleaning lady came and started knocking on the door and asked us when we will leave. like seriously ? ??? even it's the day to check out but we still had 2 hours in our hands and she already asked us to leave so that she could start cleaning ? ?!!!!! What was that ? ?? We paid for our stay. It wasn't free !! They could have called us to remind our check out time but they did this to us. I'm fully disappointed of their services. and even the city is not that updated. Everything is closed during the weekend and doesn't have so many activities to do. Fortunately it was a short trip so we returned early from that place and we will never visit that place and specially that hotel again in our life.

My daughter has a conference there and I tagged along. Lovely place, clean rooms, helpful staff, breakfasts were great. We ate other meals there and they were always good. The temperature was hot - 32-36degrees, I don't think that the air conditioning could keep up, we bought a fan. Doubt that those temperatures are the norm. We highly recommend this establishment.
