Came to visit this location about 2 weeks ago, 20 minutes out of my way because they close at 8pm. Arrived at 6:30pm and the doors were locked although employees were inside. Called, after ~10 rings an employee answered to inform me they were closed “due to weather”. The weather was fine; No business should close an hour and a half early with so many employees on their clock. Contacted corporate and your store manager has not contacted me since. Ironically, I am a manager at your neighboring location, and I would have never treated my customers this way. Your current staff/management need since assistance in their ideas of closing a store early, handling an unhappy customer and getting back in a timely fashion.

It is September, the beginning of major advertising for pumpkin spice in all Starbucks locations. The store has at least 5 signs up for it. After waiting 10 minutes in line I ordered a pumpkin spice cold brew coffee and the employee behind the register didn’t even look up from her cell phone when she told me they were out. I asked which pumpkin beverages they did have in stock and again, without even looking at me she said “none.” I ordered a cold brew and asked if it had cream in it. I don't usually order regular cold brew drinks so I wasn't sure if it came that way. The employee got irritated and asked, “oh so you want cream?” I guess the answer is that it doesn't normally come with cream? Who knows?… I said I did want it with cream. Then I wasn't certain if the cream would be sweet or not. I hesitated to ask because the employee seemed irritated with me but I wanted to be sure so I asked her anyways. Still, without looking at me, she tapped a bunch of buttons on her screen all hard and fast like she was angry that she had to change something about the order and just blurted out the cost of the drink (which was over $5.00 by the way). I wanted to cancel it and walk out but I figured at that point I had spent so much time in the store I may as well proceed. There were 5 people ahead of me waiting for their drinks, 2 of which had drinks made that were apparently not as they ordered them. The employee behind the register came over to meet one of the customers and cut her off while she was explaining what she ordered so it could be corrected and said “I’ll just make it- I know how.” It was uncomfortable. Meanwhile I had time to look around and realized how filthy the dining and purchase area was. Then when my drink came up it had coffee on top of the lid, which isn't a big deal but just felt sloppy and added insult to injury. So I spent 20 minutes in this store and spent $5 to feel regret! Not only will I not be returning to this location I will not be returning to any Starbucks. The ambiance and customer service that Starbucks used to be known for is dead. It has become overpriced fast food and I am done.

The baristas? Amazing. But Starbucks as a corporation has just gone down hill. I mean, was it ever uphill? Not really. Not in my lifetime. I mean, for having a modern-cabin aesthetic, it just feels sterile and uninviting inside. It's so manufactured and unhomely. The drinks are just so outrageously expensive and sweet, that if you're looking for Starbucks, you might as well get a frostie, and if you're looking for coffee, literally go anywhere else. Plus, the music is pretty loud, which isn't the baristas' fault. The locations of the speakers suck. I wouldn't want the workers to be without their jams, so they're cranked up loud enough to be heard by them, but, on that note, they're pointed toward seating. They redesigned but made it more uncomfortable for their workers and their customers. Great job, Starbucks.

Ordered ahead and was still waiting 21 minutes later. Baristas were visibly stressed and bickering, wildly rude clients constantly interrupting them and giving them attitude, and the straws are bizarrely not freely accessible? I gave up waiting because I was working in a low cost vaccine clinic across the street...which was miserable without my caffeine. The entire environment was chaotic and uncomfortable, and it's pretty within reason to expect a mobile order within 21 minutes. I've never, ever experienced a Starbucks this awful and they can keep my $7 as a lesson to never go there again when I'm in town with the clinic again.

I enjoy this Starbucks and think the food is good, but they never follow the dates they set ahead. They close before they are supposed to, and are sometimes open after they are supposed to close. Recently I visited this store, after renovations were supposed to be done. The sign and the statement they put up said they would reopen on the 18th, and it was still closed with tools scattered after renovation. It seems that they had finished already, but didn’t care to clean up and finish by the time of me writing this article, the 23rd. They are still closed after 5 days of finishing Reno. I have also gotten my order wrong multiple times, once ordering a mocha crème frappechino and instead receiving a green tea frappechino, which wasn’t even on the menus. If there was somewhere else nearby I could bike to for coffee, I would not go here.

It just doesn’t seem very clean. Service is hit or miss. Few employees do not know how to nicely (legally) ask if my dog is a service dog 🐕‍🦺.

I drive past another Starbucks to visit this location. I like this location in the Village. They are always friendly. My online order is prepared quickly. Most importantly, they make my Dirty Chai latte THE best!

Terrible service. Waited 20 minutes for a mobile order and there was one 2 other people in the building. Seems to happen anytime I order from this location.

I ordered a triple grande carmel brulee latte with oatmilk everyday last week. Some days it was good. Some days it tasted weird. One day I ordered it on the mobile and they put the 2nd drink in the wrong spot and it tasted off. I stood there for a long time. What starbucks doesn't understand is when I order it ahead of time I don't have time to stand there to have it remade. I am not going back to waste my money. I have already contacted customer care and they basically said o well. And the reinforcement from the owner that no one cares says everything. I stay 4 mins from the location and I am not going back.

Lovely location drinks are always correct even though I modify them too much sometimes (sorry) food is always warm even if I preorder and staff is super friendly. It often takes a while for my order to get out which is no problem but they just don’t have the staffing to get it out fast. There are kids in the Grosse Pointe area who could work here but it’s so understaffed. This is a great location. Timeliness is an issue as a result of understaffing. This is really the only problem

Placed mobile order 20 mins in advanced. Patiently waited 30 minutes and still no drinks. Politely asked for a status on my drinks and was rudely told I have no idea, as the barista stormed away. Clearly they are stressed out and unorganized. Terrible experience. I live 5 minutes from this starbucks but will not be back. Left my drinks there as I had to be somewhere and couldn’t wait any longer.

This Starbucks is great! They can be busy, but they are very kind and you just have to be patient some days. If you want your coffee in two minutes, go to McDonald’s. The new manager is really friendly and goes out of his way to get to know his customers. They also make your drink super well every time and are very consistent. Great job Starbucks!

If you’re gonna let me order Matcha and then you don’t have it after you just looked me in the face and let me order it and then one offer me a refund and forced me to take something else that’s ridiculous.

Great place nice to meet up with out of town guest, we were able to talk, and just relax, the coffee was fresh I actually watched them make it, the pastry was delectable...

I really wish I could remember the name that goes to the friendly face that greeted me when I walked into this Starbucks frozen to the core one winter day. She suggested a London Fog Latte, and I have been hooked ever since. Her customer service was so great that when she tried to "up sale" me a decorative cup, I bought 2.

I ordered a venti iced shaken espresso with an extra shot (a drink I have been getting for years) and for a drink with 4 shots of espresso, it is typically a lot darker than the drink I got. When I spoke with the barista, they told me to throw it away and they won't make me another one. I was a little confused so when I asked them to repeat what they said, the barista told me again he won't make me another one so I took this one shot drink and left.

What is going on here. The mobile orders are behind the counter, so ok cool it's not like stranger's are touching your drink, but they don't call out the names of finished orders. And if they somehow do call your name, the music is so loud that you can't hear it. Waited an extra 8 minutes for a drink that was just sitting there and getting cold

They most often have the items I like and the staff are polite. The place is clean and customers observe covid19 protocols. Though the place was not so busy today, some of my orders were not ready at the given timey and I had to repeat the order before she had it ready. Most often, everything seems fine

Store was laid back in the middle of the afternoon but everyone working was super friendly and super fast turning out drinks. I love this location.

The Mack Avenue store is always closed so this location gets slammed frequently. Saturday morning, I placed my order through the app on my way there at 9:32 AM. Pickup time said 9:44 AM. I got my coffee at 10:25 AM after waiting in an extremely crowded store for 45 minutes. It was literally shoulder to shoulder in there. Boxes were stacked up on the floor so there was really nowhere to stand. I am disabled and use crutches. There was no safe place for me to wait without being in someone's way. Embarrassing... The people here are not friendly or helpful at all and constantly short me on whipped cream. I pay an additional .50 for extra whipped cream and it is usually melted into my coffee before I even take a sip. Truly, if there were another location near me, I would never go here again. They only had 2 people working on a holiday weekend, which I do not understand when the other location is closed. Just really poor management here

Not sure how this Starbucks is open. Consistently have issues with drinks orders and they constantly turn off mobile order despite not being busy.
