Little India Restaurante

Restaurant Indian restaurant

👍 Tucked away inside a mall, this restaurant is a decent option if you are craving for Indian food. Slightly on the expensive side (compared to other restaurants in Guatemala). Service was great and ambience was excellent! People often mention Indian, restaurant, chicken, nice, price, rice, service,

This place has a rating to high, there is no way it got that rating from customers, the price is crazy expensive, the food is ok, but the price is just way to high, they charge 40q for a bowl of rice, I could get 4 bowls of rice for that price back in my home country, not only that rice is suppose to come with the curry, ive.never been to an indian restaurant that makes you pay extra for the rice with your curry, and 40q, what a rip off, i don't recommend this place as it is to expensive. The total cost was 191q I could have got two really good dinners for that price else where.

It was good and tasty but coming from a Nepali guy who enjoys Indian food a lot I was very surprised that the rice was not included with the curry. Normally that’s a must in an Indian restaurant. It was quite pricy. Would recommend a little more generosity on their side and a more welcoming atmosphere of the staff.

I've lived in New York City and San Francisco, two cities with lots of Indian restaurants to choose from. If you want authentic Indian cuisine in an authentic setting, Little India Restaurante is the place to go. The food is delicately prepared, elegantly presented and bursting with flavor. Even the serving platters are authentic, including the copper utensils. Try the mango Lassi, rich and satisfying by the sip. Service was stellar, courteous and respectful.

I spoke to the chef who's from India and I can confirm this is the best Indian food you'll find in Guatemala. The naan and paratha were fantastic. I ordered the chicken Tikka masala, butter milk and it was just as awesome as everything.

The food is delicious and the service is excellent! It’s better to go in a group of people so you can share different curries. Completely worth the value!

The food was delicious with a lot of flavour and it was a good price as well. It is also beautifully decorated and has a nice atmosphere. However I booked a table over the phone to sit upstairs at one of their traditional tables and they said that they had no record of my booking so my wife and I were slightly disappointed with this, the service was a little slow and the one thing which I dislike is that restaurants here add the tip onto the bill. My wife and I will come back here again as we had a delicious meal. We did ask for our curries to be spicy which they weren't but they tasted so delicious that we were not upset that they weren't spicy. This is why I gave Little India three 🌟🌟🌟. In response to your reply, you didn't have my name because your website was not working and when I talked to a member of your staff over the phone he was not interested in taking my full name.

The only word I can say is NO. Very high prices for non-attentice service and most of all poorly preoared food . The curries looked nothing like the photos, not even in color let alone the amount of sauce. We actually asked to be sure if the dishes we ordered were saucy or dry - the waiter said very wet/saucy. They were not. The vegetables were almost raw besides there not being any sauce or any flavor to speak of. Imagine raw, dry, flavorless ingredients over rice. That's what we got here...and for the same prices as in the states. The appetizer was the only aspect of this meal that had a decent flavor but ironically it was also way overcooked and almost mush. Again, NO!
