A very nice observation post looking over many of Guatemala's volcanoes with an art exhibit that includes parts of the Berlin wall

They are remodeling this plaza by adding outdoor work out equipment and the sidewalks and all are looking real nice. The view from here is one of the few "nice lookouts" in Guatemala City, overlooking the volcanoes and even lake Amatitlán. They often have food stands and stuff here, but when I rode by on my bike it was super chill.

Fascinating! I had not been aware of any special relationship between Germany and Guatemala. There are three fragments of the Berlin Wall here. This plaza is on a hill offering fantastic views on a clear day. It's near the western end of the Avenue of the Americas where many countries of the Americas have monuments and small plazas.
