The service is great. The rooms are clean. The restaurant serves tasty food. In the City center.

Good location. Cool building. Microscopic rooms. Priced too high. For 40 bucks a night you can do better.

Good typical Guatemalan food in nice old historical hotel.

Older, dated hotel with small rooms in the historic district. They were a bit pricey for what you get but they were clean. Everyone was very helpful. They have arranged parking with a near by lot that is maintained 24 hours a day. I’m pretty sure it’s a family’s property and they rent the spots and live on site. They were nice and I felt as safe as I could parking there. If you need to park after they close or get in early there is a door bell sort of clicker on the outside. The hotel also closes doors pretty early. We arrived from cayala around 12 and had to wait to be let in but it is secure. The elevator was cool and old. Also, I really liked the location.

Really cool place, historic hotel in the center of the city. Beautiful mahogany doors and windows. Beautiful lobby and grandiose. Definitely the place to be back in the heyday of Pan American Airways. Breakfast is really good. Negatives are: uncomfortable mattresses, small bathrooms with windows into hallway, no a/c. There was a wedding the first day we were there and noise in the room was as loud as a concert. Literally could not sleep until the wedding was over and this isn’t an American wedding that ends at 9:30pm. Breakfast is really expensive relative to the price of rooms. (Breakfast for 3 was the same price as the room night)

Beds were like sleeping on boards. Pillows were flat. Did not have hand soap in the bathroom. The towels were dingy and looks 100xs past their prime. No outlet in the bathroom to plug in hairdryer or straightener you have to go out to the main room to do all this. Big inconvenience. Staff was very friendly on a positive note *

This hotel was alright. The service was nice and the location was pretty good, but that's about it. The elevator in the building is so old that it's manually operated and the bathrooms are way too crowded. I probably wouldn't come here again given the chance.

Small claustrophobic rooms. Considering they were facing the street, they were not too noisy. Bed worn but average. Restaurant average food. Staff was cordial and efficient.

Nice hotel and a great location but if you are staying when they are hosting an event eg a wedding party on Saturday night as I was, forget sleeping. The disco permeates the entire building. I'd find somewhere else. For the price, there are better options.

You can't beat this place for its atmospherics. The grand old lady of Guatemala City hotels. Yes, it's seen better days and better guests, but I just love the place.

This place is horroble, and should not be open , I did not even used the bedding , the washroom was deplorable, I will never would ever go there or recommend it to anyone. I demand my money back.tyey even charged me for parking and my vehicle got scratched maliciously.

I only visited the restaurant, but the service was great and the food was good. The server even told us some of the history of the place, which was very interesting.
