My favorite shop in the city, hands down. Friendly atmosphere, enough room to sit and work for minute or have a meeting (grab the corner near the front door) and always unique coffees to experience that highlight the hard work and relationships with producers in Guatemala. The space is a coffee shop, but also a home base for roasting, cupping and education. If you're lucky, you'll get Mr. Teco himself to talk you through the coffees and the ethos that makes this place very special and a huge asset to the coffee comminity.

After scouring the entire country searching for the best coffee, Teco is without at doubt at the very top. It's not just about the quality fo their coffee, it's about their passion for coffee as a whole. Coffee is roasted on location almost daily so the whole atmosphere is infused with that delicious aroma. Each cup is prepared with the outmost dedication, guaranteed to be amazing. The owner of the shop, Mr. Teco himself, is usually hanging out. He's a champion barista, and if you're lucky, he'll prepare your cup. Be ready to be blown away!

Amazing place, best cappuccino in the city. Coffee beans are produced eco-friendly and are roasted locally in the store itself. It smells delicious inside the small coffee place and you can watch them roast the beans. Plus, it’s located in a beautiful and calm open-air kind of mall. Very friendly staff as well, 100% recommended!

Discovering Teco Coffee House was one of the best things in my trip to Guatemala. If you want to taste really good specialty coffee, learn, share and even make friends this is your place, it's all build up to make the coffee conversation flow. I got there in the afternoon before rush hour ordered a pour over of a delicious natural processed red bourbon, before they start preparing my coffee they give me a sample of the coffee they were drinking, an unbelievable washed geisha, Before I left got a natural geisha espresso out of this world. I got so hooked that was there first time in the morning the next day. If you have the opportunity don't miss this place. They also have the roaster there and you can get fresh beans to take home with you, I obviously did. Thanks Teco and Family!

Worst latte I ever had. It was border line cold and with an unpleasant taste, just bad. Couldn’t take more than 2 sips and walked away, after paying. Visited on Wed 3/15 in the morning.

Teco's is awesome. Talking to anyone here you can see their passion for great coffee. Many different preparations and beans are available, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Would come here often.

Very good coffee. Ended up bringing a bag of it home with us. Service was excellent. There was no price list but was about the same as all. They did have a game shelf to keep the kids entertained for a bit.

Guatemala Coffee Culture at its finest ⭐️💎 A small coffee shop with a big punch! Beans are roasted and ground in house so no doubt the coffee is STRONG. The setting is charming and the presentation is perfect. Staff is friendly. Lots of locals so you know it’s a good spot. There is not a menu as all they serve is coffee. Have it dripped, espresso or your way. Check out all their awards if you’re doubting the coffee quality.

Cute coffee shop with very amiable staff. I got a coffee latte with lactose-free milk (I wish they had had almond milk or another plant-based milk), which was delicious.

This place is absolutely amazing! I took a coffee roasting class here and Salo was quite knowledgeable and very kind. The class was a ton of fun and it was great to learn my likes and dislikes of coffee and how to remedy those issues. Plus, the coffee is done to perfection! A must visit while in Guatemala City!

👍 Burrito was good. The scrambled eggs with sausage was very popular and looked good...next time! The hot chocolate drink was delicious. Poor marks for not having their coffee/espresso machine working.

👍👍 Gathering with Guatemala family before my flight home tomorrow. I’m from BA and it has been 5 years since I had a parrillada with mollejas, chinchulines, and Argentinian chorizo - it was very good, very authentic. Service and atmosphere fantastic. Highly recommend for Parrilla lovers.
