Dhamthal is a fantastic spot, especially known for their delicious halwa puri. They also also offer a variety of bakery items, buns, bread, cakes, pastries, snacks, and more. The halwa puri, channay, aaloo tarkari and achar was tasty, and what impressed us most was the speedy service despite the crowd. But, it would have even more amazing if they were served piping hot. They have a family dine-in area on the first floor, but be cautious of the spiral stairs as they can be quite tricky and dangerous.

I heard lot about the Halwa poori at Dhamthal, i was glad to see a restaurant having proper place for families, the stairs to go upper floor is bit risky. I went and had Halwa Poori and got some for home. As per me the hype was a little out of proportion. It was a good Halwa Puri but not great. Yes way better then what’s being sold at most of places but i have had better so cannot call it the best. Flavor - Star - 7.5 / 10 Authenticity of Flavor - Star - 7.5 / 10 Cleanliness - No Star - 6 / 10 Service - No Star - 6 / 10 Value for Money - Star - 7 / 10 Above format would be best to justify my review so i will hopefully continue to keep this for all my next reviews.

Its really Overhyped. Karachi honestly has some really good Halwa Puri places, but unfortunately Damthal doesn’t even come close to them. The Puri is ok. But the chana and aalu tarkari/salan is below average. The chana tarkari had an odd strong flavour to it & the aalu tarkari was watery. Taste & quality: 6.5/10

#Dhamtal Halwa Puri disappointed us with not so tasty Chanay and Tarkari. Achaar was on reacue to make it a little good. Regretted for not having Puriaan from a local street vendor, who sells definitely the best in the surrounding area 😆

The main thing is reasonable prices of everything available in dhamthal without compromising the quality.

Giving 3 stars on the basis of puri quality otherwise chanay & Aloo Tarkari is not so impressive chanay has raw taste of boiled ones and Aloo tarkari is has more liquidity in it that has to be thicker in viscosity Aloo tarkari is tastier than Chana Tarkari & Halwa is fine. I will prefer new town's Gosha e Shireen over this place.

Hello guyz I have visited dhamthal sweet today morning for breakfast and it was a great experience when eat first bite of puri and halwa which by made by Desi ghee that was very delicious and yummy 😋
