One of the most decent and family oriented restaurant on the lands of University road. It's much old but they have still managed the quality and quantity of foods. The taste is good but last time there were many mutton chop bones, hoping it will be the last time this error occurs.

I had a buffet lunch there,desi food at affordable price !! Nargisi kofta and Kebabs were the most delicious among all the servings and Rainbow icecream is their signature dessert. One of my childhood loved restaurant, this place have amazing classis cool and calm ambience, one the best desi foods serving from 2 decades taste still the same. Usmania restaurant has a Unique and excellent taste of all food, esp a Pistacho flavoured Ice cream that has preserved same taste which we have tried since last 31 years. Wow. No other place has such an ice cream anywhere else.

It is very famous and old restaurant, I went there almost 20 years after but the taste and quality are same as I eat earlier. It is little expensive but you have joy and taste against the bill, the special soup was the best in taate with quality. A good place for families while going to take dinner.

I was invited by some friends. We ordered chicken streaks, fish n chips, mutton handi, usmania special rice, malai boti and Ice cream. Fish, steak, rice and bbq is recommended. Strictly and openly speaking they deserve 2 star. We ordered soup, which was tasteless, chicken seekh kabab and chicken malai boti were of good taste. In addition to that, chicken sashlek and special chicken Chinese were were tasteless as well :( . However, Rogni naan was amazing. Today I had Lunch mutton Handi its yummy and delicious and tasty and tempting.

Originally when they started they were 5 star for both services and quality of food. More recently the taste of food is not the same as it used to be its more of an average taste. Most famous dishes include the chicken and mutton steam roast and finger fish. Parking is hard to find though they have a small parking lot next to them.

Been going there since childhood and absolutely love this place. Everything tastes amazing and the service is top notch.

Last time I went there, it was not a good experience. Arrived at 8 o clock. Service had not started and there were no other customers. Ordered food but it took around 30-40 minutes. Ordered steak but it was not cooked to full tender. Chowmein was cold. Staff was slightly rude. Floor and eating utensils were not very clean. Air conditioning was not working well.

I hv been visiting Usmania since last 12 years, visited their restaurant at murree, Abbottabad and Karachi. They hv the same food taste, quality and quantity. Excellent taste excellent food. Brain masala, steam chicken and Nargisi Qofta are my favourite.
