The atmosphere resembles a nice mom and pop Italian restaurant. The staff was very nice and polite. The food was unfortunately underwhelming. My girlfriend had the spaghetti, a very simple dish that any Italian restaurant should be able to make. However it was very bland and the noodles were over cooked. I had the philly cheese steak, the meat was bland and tasteless. I didn't realize that it would have mushrooms on it and that was my fault not the restaurant's, however after I removed the mushrooms I was left with only half a sandwich. Unfortunately the best part of the meal was the salad. Personally I will not be coming back for the Italian food however I will come back to try the pizza which the restaurant is mostly known for.

It was a very confusing experience. We went for a late lunch. The atmosphere looked nice, but they used plastic salad bowls, salad plates, and water cups and ugly plastic fake leather table clothes. Service was on the slower side. The wine was good. The salad was excellent. Very good dressing. The rolls were okay. We did get the lunch portions, and they were very accommodating, but we were very surprised by the size. The cheese ravioli was 4 raviolis for $14. The creamy vodka sauce I chose was very good, the filling was good, the pasta itself did not impress. The Chicken Diavolo tasted like nothing but red pepper flakes and was what looked like a 4oz serving for $13. It did come with a side of pasta, your choice of pasta type and sauce, but the homemade pasta was ... 8 minutes past al dente. Overall, this seems like the kind of place that could be amazing, but things are in half measures.

We used to go to Salutos fairly regular the food was consistently good and the service as well. I know the pandemic has had a large effect on their industry more than most. As the food was not to my liking and spoke with our server. This is what I said we did eat the salads and my wife at her one meatball along with our ice tea and we were happy too pay for that. She said she will speak with the owner. The server returned with a bill for 2 salads @ $ 11.00 each and that’s for a side salad ugh. Everything else on the bill was fairly priced. I went to the cashier which was the same person that either was the owner or manager and asked about the price of the salads First I would like to say no apologies or anything about our experience here but was very forceful about the pricing on their side salads and then further explained to us that there is nothing wrong with the food that was served. Ok well we all have our options but really no I’m sorry or what can they do again $11.00 for a side salad that comes with the meal say it all I can say.

We ate here this weekend and the food was terrible. The fettuccine noodles were cold, rubbery and looked liked French fries… water tasted disgusting. Thought the waitress was talking to a kid behind the counter… god I was it was… she was talking to a f’cking unleashed dog 🤢. We ate very little, put it in to go boxes and chucked it in a dumpster. I wouldn’t feed this to homeless people.

This was our first time at Salutos. The server was lovely and the restaurant was aesthetically pleasing. However, this was the worst attempt at Italian food that I have ever had. The Alfredo sauce was grainy and grossly thick with little flavor. The noodles were dense and unappetizing. The tomato bisque was, in fact, not a bisque at all and tasted like canned soup. This is NOT Italian food.

They changed their soup salad breadsticks. Now per bowl. We didn't know. Had already ordered drinks. Paid $3 ea for the 4 drinks we had ordered but had yet to touch and left. Favorite Italian place no more. We were the only customers at the time they now have zero. Just needed a heads up about a significant change. Hey they made 12 bucks today. Best of luck.

Spaghetti was bland. Don’t know why the sauce tasted burnt. No meatballs. Everything including the “SALAD “ is over priced. How is it you can order pasta and there is no flavor. Very disappointed in this restaurant. Been going here for several years each time hoping it would get better unfortunately it has gotten worse. Maybe if the owners would get rid of a Chihuahua out of the kitchen and pay attention to the customers the food and the cook would be a hell of a lot better. Don’t know what culinary school they went to to have the noodles taste the way that they do they are literally disgusting and rubbery. I think they would be better off if they just outsource their salad dressing. Waste of my time and hard earned money. FYI this is the husband sending this.

The food can be good most times and the dressing on the salad is spectacular. The rolls are very good . Biggest issue with this restaurant is they nickel and dime you for stuff. We ordered a salad with grilled chicken breast for $16 and also a regular salad and asked for extra dressing for our salad and were charged $3 extra for an already $11 regular salad. And you can't get extra rolls unless you pay another extra fee. I've been going here for many years but it's moves like that which make me less likely to return.

First and last time here!! Horrible experience with the server Ann. We didn't even get a chance to order...while attempting to order - she was rude, got irritated and was confused on taking a simple order. She was an elderly lady so I was very patient and polite. But after she kept giving us an attitude, We walked out of there!! This is the 2nd time in my life, I left a restaurant due to horrible service! If you are not caucasian, good luck!

The dining room is so dim we had to use the flashlights on our phones to read the menus. We weren’t the only ones, as other tables were doing the same. $15 Espresso Martini was okay.. missing the chocolate drizzle and tasted watered down. Minestrone soup was blander than expected and rolls were also bland. Speaking of the rolls, pay attention to the menu because you get just 2 each and the menu actually states that. A bizarre thing to myself and those dining with me but they were bland anyways so I only partook in half of one. Ordered the chicken piccata, it was quite good but instead of being served on a bed of pasta it was served alone on the plate with a tiny side plate of pasta and marinara (think coffee cup saucer sized plate) Odd combination, marinara with an entree that uses lemon/butter sauce. The portion size of the chicken piccata was generous. Our server was friendly but the service was extremely slow throughout the meal. Total bill for 6 adults (not including tip) with 3 bar drinks was $215.

Considering an average dinner meal was $30, the food was not worth it at all. Service was slow and the waiter did not know much about the dishes. Atmosphere was dark, we could barely read our menus.

Nice place overall, but with a little effort, this could be five stars imo. Recommendations: Ditch the plastic cups, go with classy glassware with slices of lemon for water.... music - turn off the pop music and go with something a little more authentic and appropriate.... service - Cherie was great as a server, but the bus crew sat on the other side of our table and jabbered about video games... awesome, but that's not why I'm dropping $100+ on dinner.

Went here with my daughter to have a nice Italian dinner. I’ve lived in the area for most of my life and have been in the past. Love the salad dressing. I got a simple spaghetti with meat sauce and my daughter had plain rigatoni. Homemade pasta, overcooked and tasteless. My daughter said her pasta tasted like wood. Getting rolls was a hassle to the server and came out 1 at a time. Decor is dated, booth table and menus were sticky. I was very disappointed. I won’t be back.

Do not go here unless you want to waste your money on bad food. First of all, the food is overpriced. I paid $24 for 2 dinner rolls (which are not good, they were not soft and lacked flavor) a very small salad, and a plate of pasta. We ordered the “Frankie” With fettuccine pasta and it was the most plain , terrible pasta I’ve ever eaten. The fettuccine lacked flavor and was unusually thick. It felt like eating dough. The pasta sauce was only olive oil and garlic which was essentially unnoticeable. We asked the waitress for pesto sauce (which they charged us $2 even though we expressed how plain the pasta was) and even that was terrible. I liked the salad so I ordered another one, but they charged $8. Also, the ambience is confusing. It seems like a nice place to go for a date night, but they serve you water in plastic cups. I honestly felt like I was scammed. You are better off going to Olive Garden or Carrabbas.

On a Saturday night, we had about a 20-minute wait which is what our hostess told us. They have a nice bar and we enjoyed a cocktail before dinner. We have pizza with a salad in the house dressing and it was delicious. I would recommend coming here anytime.

Pizza is delicious! Our first time going here and we have lived here for over 20 years. We had a stuffed spinach pizza and it was outstanding! Also the salad dressing is just wonderful. We'll definitely be back!

We ordered Fried Ravioli as an appetizer, Chicken Parmesan, Shrimp Alfredo, salad and rolls. The food was AMAZING and they nailed it. The owners are super nice as well as their staff. Guess that's why we keep going back for over 20 years. Great job guys and thanks for a fabulous dinner.

The food is to die for, the server was very kind and helpful with our questions. If you want Italian this is the place to go and dare I say it is better than Olive Garden. I would happily bring my friends and family here.

This place has the best pizzas. We love the Alpine one and always get it when we visit. Their meat lovers is also a must. (See picture for both pizzas). They come loaded with toppings and cheese. Did i mention the alpine is delicious? Alfredo sauce with cheese, shrimp, and crab. Some spinach too i think. Just delicious. They also have a salad if you're watching your waistband. The dressing is really good and the salad is fresh. Chicken is alright. Not the best and a bit dry but I still enjoyed it. They serve an Italian beef loaded with meat and cheese that is also a must try. It can be a bit salty for some people but for me it was perfect. Their calimari and appetizers are good. Sometimes a bit bland but the place is still good. Desserts are always on point. The service is also great. I read other reviews and would assume some items are not a hit but the items i mentioned so far we have tried and liked. Our server was very attentive and kind. The only downside is the wait time. We waited around 45 minutes to an hour for our food and the place had just opened. I suppose they were getting the kitchen ready and making things fresh. We didn't mind much because we were talking amongst ourselves but if you were in a hurry then this would he a downside. Overall, a very good place to eat on the weekend. The restaurant itself is clean. The lighting is dim. It did fill up pretty quick after it opened. One thing that surprised me was their water. I asked for a glass and it tasted good. I'm usually scared to order water from restaurants because it taste like tap and unfiltered. Just not good. But their water tasted like fresh water. So they must have a good filtration system or something of the sorts.

Our favorite restaurant in the area. Have never had a disappointing meal here. The food is great. House salad is the best. Home made soup was great. Loved the fresh cod entre. The atmosphere and decor is very comfortable. The dining room is decked out for the holidays with a beautiful tree in the center. We always request Jeannie as our server. She's the best!! The Bode family are always welcoming and remember us every time we're there. They make you feel like family. Highly recommend for great pizza and delicious Italian food. As with everywhere, they are a little short staffed. Be patient, it's well worth it!

I wasn't as delighted as i normally have been. Pricing gone up. Calamari seemed different. 2 people appetizer, sandwiches and a drink each was $101. 2 rolls designated on the menu. We waited for water when we were seated. We were 1 of 2 tables in the place. Just seems to be on the decline. Hopefully it was just a bad day

By far, my favorite restaurant! I have been coming here for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. The family atmosphere, the waitresses, the food, it is all amazing! I would give my left kidney for the steak saluto recipe! You have a lifelong customer in me and my family!

The food is decent. However, The price of their entrees have increased by about 4.00 a piece and their soft drinks about 1.00. I realize you have to account for inflation, but this increase seems a bit much. Also, you use to get unlimited salad and rolls. They now only give you two rolls with your dinner and one little bowl of salad. When one is paying about 23.00 or 24.00 dollars for a plate of pasta, it should still come with unlimited salad and rolls.
