    A wonderful change from impersonal and oppressive hotels! Deo Bagh, like all the Neemrana hotels takes a jewel of Indian heritage and gives it new life providing tranquil hospitality. Gwalior, like so much of India, is a noisy, busy and chaotic city. Once you turn down the private (admittedly rather bumpy) driveway and pass the security post you slip into an oasis of calm. The Neemrana model reminds me of the Warner Leisure hotels in the UK. No soulless modern tower block hotel here!

    A very good place to stay. Big sprawling lawns, big luxurious rooms with old world decor. Modern day amenities. Tasty food, courteous and knowledgeable staff ready to help in every manner! The only flipside is location. You wake up to the sounds of birds. So many you can't count them. Peacocks included!

    Its a beautiful place to go for an outing in Gwalior. Ample open space for kids to play while having lunch. A nice heritage property for tourists to stay. Who wants to go for lunch please keep in mind about the timings. No lunch served after lunch timings. Its time for them to serve their inmates in the property.

    Lovely hotel..with royal and ancient vibes ... This is beautiful place, restaurant is also there but in house guests are preferred...if you want to go there you have to book your table in prior,so they will accommodate you accordingly.

    Horrible lunch experience, do not serve food even after waiting for one hour… they even don’t know that chat, salads, and soups are supposed to be served before main course meal. They serve house salad as Caesar salad by using fresh tomatoes. They add ketchup to Papdi chart… they charge ₹₹₹ like a 5 star but service, staff friendliness, worm welcome is worst then Rituraj Dhaba…

    Everything was great, from welcome to goodbye. The location is a dream place, elegant and fine, it's an oasis of peace and calm but not far from the city. The garden, with peacocks walking around, and temples, is beautiful The room is a treat itself. Everything you need is there. Staff is very professional and friendly. Food is also great and the restaurant offers dishes for any preference. The best exotic place I have been.

    its a NEEMRANA HOTEL . that says it all . every time a visit a neemrana chain , i am sure , i ll ve a great time. be it the property, or the rooms or the food or the hospitality.. its all perfect. u ask anything, any damn thing, u ll never ever get a negative reply. for the jokes ,next tile i ll ask them for their life ! hahahha . keep it up! the place is like a quiet in middle of a bustling city. u drive in bumpy traffic and suddenly u get into a a secluded beautiful jungle , full of flora n fauna . many peacocks so many different birds . there r monuments/temples ,in the premises , rich in architecture tho its not open to public, its great to see. its comparable to temples u visit in the city! everything has a flavour of history and antiquity. u ll need to keep sometime off from gwalior to visit and go around , leisurely ,in the premises itself . the food was awesome. be it the free buffet. or the a la catrte dinner. the hospitality is amazing. u ll be treated as some maharaja of some kingdom, there with other kings to visit the gwalior fort. ;

    Neemrana has created a brand that lives upto the expectations every time, where-ever be the location. This is a relatively smaller Neemrana property (compared to the one on Delhi-Jaipur highway or the one at Kesroli), but the green lawns, the touch of heritage and the awesome service is nonetheless the same. There is a temple and a baradari in the hotel complex, both great photo-ops. Bird watching is another great pastime after sun-bathing in the lawn. Food was good and the staff friendly.

    Very beautiful hotel and garden. Good, but expensive buffet dinner (around 17 euro per person, without alcoholic drinks because there is no bar service). Comfortable, spacious rooms with the massive downside that the hot water only lasts for a few minutes, so a leisurely shower is out of the question.

    Our stay in Neem Rana Deo Bagh was the highlight of our Madhya Pradesh tour. The majestic and sympathetically restored palace rooms are stunning. The grounds are beautifully maintained and an atmosphere of serenity prevails throughout. The rooms are huge and beautifully decorated. The verandah and gardens offer peace & quiet. Everything is just wow. There’s absolute privacy here and the staff go above and beyond to make you comfortable. The freshly made food was delicious and the staff were happy to fetch anything you needed from town. The breakfast, lunches and dinner, the high tea on the lawns with peacocks wandering…all of it feels like one has been transported to the time of kings & queens. We will definitely stay here again. This place is perfect for events, weddings and for just getting away from the city hustle. Well done all at Neem Rana Deo Bagh & thank you so much for making our trip memorable.

    A Blissful property in the midst of Gwalior. Unapologetically rustic but tastefully done. Courteous staff makes the experience even more pleasant.

    A very Neemrana experience. Excellent service levels, the food was good, and the views spectacular... Great place to get away from the hustle of the city.

    Mosquito Apocalypse. Even mosquito net was of no use as it was torn at places and mosquitoes found a way in. Both nights no sleep. Killed 100s of mosquitoes with racket but more kept showing up despite doors windows all locked. Horrible location too.

    Service is rather unprofessional. Staff are not trained on how to interact with guests. But more importantly, best to avoid this hotel during the wedding season. Since it’s on a hill, all noise from down below travels up, and believe me, it’s pure hell. Your skull will be rattling. God knows who’s getting married with such loud music. It’s a pan-India problem for sure, but especially bad at Gwalior. This hotel seems to be right next to a third class wedding hall. So best to avoid.

    The old property is limited to four rooms and dining hall . Rooms are not small but in winters can get very cold. Two heaters were required to get comfort. Hot water for two people will need time. Boiler does not heat quickly. Beds are large and comfortable. Open lawn in front of the rooms looks nice and could be fun to sit and enjoy but not possible in winters.
