The hotel is quite good but it needs to make changes in the food they provide as the food provided by the staff of Usha Kiran palace was pathetic Pros:- Quite good ambience Corns:- Need to improve the quality and taste of food that they provide.

My stay at Taj Usha Kiran Palace was truly exceptional! The royal welcome and friendly service made me feel like a valued guest. The restaurant experience exceeded expectations, and the New Year celebration was filled with fun. I want to extend special thanks to the Operations Manager, front office staff, housekeeping, and Amit from the restaurant for their outstanding hospitality. Each element contributed to a memorable experience, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit!

Don't waste your time to find another hotel in Gwalior, this is the best ! I don't have enough word to describe this palace ! Very luxury hotel with all the services you need in a safe environment. Thanks to all the personnel that make the stay so beautiful. You'll not be disappointed.

The hotel is beautiful with very nice premises and rooms. Everything is very efficient and we had a nice holiday. The gardens are lovely and there are so many birds and squirrels. Rooms are really nice. However.... The hotel does need to stop using single use plastic water bottles. We told housekeeping we want RO water, they assured us that we don't need to pay for the plastic bottles so should use them. So the environmental message seems to be lost on the Taj group. Also breakfast service is so bad that even getting a cup of tea took 45 minutes and multiple reminders. Even though it was not a busy period when we visited, items in the buffet would be out of stock and even after repeatedly asking for them, they wouldn't be served. The first day we arrived at 9:30am so were told that most stuff was over. The next day we reached at 8:45am but still stuff was over. We wanted our holiday to be pleasant so we didn't complain but i do feel that others should not be subject to such behaviour thus the review.

Taj Usha Kiran is a beautiful heritage property located in the most posh location of the Gwalior city. It is part of the. Jiwaji Rao's Jai Vilas Palace. As the story goes this property was built to accommodate the guests of King George when he was visiting India. Scindhia's were loyal to Britishers and believed in keeping British rulers happy. Presently, this property is on lease and being managed by Taj Group of Hotels. Rooms are built as per old designs and very moderate modification has been done to make the guests comfortable. Washrooms have got bath tubs and are of decent size. Swimming pool, Gym and spa are basic. The restaurant has got indoor and outdoor seating and caters for around 60 guests at a time. Service needs improvement. some modifications are needed in the washrooms. Overall good experience if you are looking for heritage property.

A place one should visit in Gwalior. Amazing Hospitality with a Royal Welcome Experience which was given to us in the Phaetons with beautiful ladies welcoming us. We felt like royal members. Beautiful surrounded by nature and good ambience all around. We stayed for 2 nights and loved being there. Thank you for giving us an upgrade for the room. My daughter was very happy to be there , enjoyed a lot. The hotel staff was very cooperative and polite. Thanks to Aarushi who suggested the place for staying and assisted with all the necessary things during our stay. We also loved the delicious food in the Silver Saloon restaurant which we had. To be very honest this is one of the must visit places to experience the grandeur of the Scindiaโ€™s. Thanks a lot everyone. Hoping will come again soon.

I came to your restaurant yesterday with my family. We all had an amazing time. The tasting menu Nepolian & Marathi food was delicious and the staff so attentive and friendly. It's not all the time people get praised, the quality of the service and food was excellent. I also liked how you cater for vegeterians and adapt your menu with no fuss. It's nice to know there are such places local to us.

We entered the hotel at 9pm and left at 11.36pm. The reason for being this precise is that the service was way too late. We exceeded our dinner timings by 2hrs. It was also the birthday of one of my family members which we successfully ruined. We visited ukp after its renovation and had the worst experience. The food quality was not at all up to the mark but they have prices touching skies. Also it's not just about the prices the purpose with which we went there was not fulfilled and it was all about spending some good time with family and have some good good. We literally waited for 2 hrs before we had our food on the table. They suggested to have a seat outdoors but did not have any fans outside.Ukp just failed to provide what is expected from the name.

The hotel features a wide range of facilities that are designed to enhance the guest experience. The spa and wellness center provided a serene retreat where I could relax and rejuvenate. The fitness center was well-equipped and maintained, allowing me to keep up with my workout routine. Additionally, the hotel's pool area was beautifully designed and offered a tranquil setting for a swim or sunbathing.

The Taj Usha Kiran Palace is a heritage hotel in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India, that was once the residence of the Maharaja of Gwalior. It has been converted into a hotel and is considered one of the best places to stay in the city. The hotel features elegant rooms and suites, some of which have been converted from the palace's original guest rooms. The palace also offers a variety of dining options and recreational facilities, including a swimming pool and a spa. It is a beautiful palace and a great option for a luxury stay in Gwalior.

Very beautiful hotel. visited for the first time in 2013. Then there was not much staff and not even guests. And there were no facilities. even after ordering food at 2 AM in the night only cold lentils and rice were available. The staff was very helpful. The size of the room was huge and everything was well organized. Overall it was a great experience. There used to be a ghostly feeling when walking alone in the hotel at night. highly recommended.

Had an excellent stay right from the check in process to the checkout. Everything went so smooth. We had our breakfast and major meals at Silver Spoon Restaurant and we're very well taken care by Samin, Pramod and ever smiling Vishal. The entire stay made it relaxing for us. Will definitely visit once again during winter months.

Great royal palace to stay. It's a property of Taj. This is enough to describe. Rooms are very very spacious with very big bathrooms. Greenery and landscaping is very well maintained. You can find 20-30 peacocks in the garden area. Food and hospitality is great ๐Ÿ‘

Old palace converted to hotel. Very unique experience. The grounds, fountains are amazing with various birds calling it home. Staff and Service were great. However dining area felt small and breakfast options were severely limited to a fixed menu.

The staff are so welcoming. Does make you feel special. This was the Kingโ€™s guest house which has been transformed to a hotel. The palace is quite close by and you can also see the fort from a distance if you walk for about 500 mtrs. The rooms are quite big and plush.. overall property is maintained quite well..

Beautiful beautiful hotel. It's got a certain charm which is enhanced by the warm and lovely service of the staff. The rooms are quite elegant, spacious and equipped with all amenities. Almost all the rooms open to a garden or views of lush greenery. The mattress is super comfy. Their food is also very good, couple of amazing desserts in their banquet service. Had onion kheer which was an interesting experience although the taste was debatable. The service at reception and at the dining was exceptional. Highly recommended for the traditional luxury and comfort it offers.
