Not good. Long wait for food, the quality of the food is poor (heavy use of frozen and canned ingredients) and very bland. Also we found a huge piece of plastic in our salad.

Bad service + No baby friendly. I went last week with my partner and our baby for dinner. Took a lot of time to get the menu, to order and to ask for a baby chair. When we asked for the baby chair, the waiter (old short bold man who speaks spanish) said that they didn't have but he will have a look. We wait a lot until he finally brought the drinks but he left inmediately, so we didn't have the chance to ask again for the baby chair. In the meantime, another family with a baby came to the restaurant. A different waiter attend that family very fast. The menu, the drinks and a baby chair came very fast! When we claim to our waiter for the baby chair, he said, oops, sorry, the other waiter brought it first, there are no more baby chairs. That answer was unbelievable, we complain because there were 30min of difference between we arrived and the other family arrived. So, we decided to left, the waiter brought the bill (ironically very fast) and gave a discount of 3 euros. Even that, the bad mood was there. He only said, you can not get angry, that is life ... such a lack of empathy. When we left Las Tapas was already 6.30pm, all the restaurants were so busy, and was VERY difficult to find another restaurant with a baby.

Tourist trap. I don't understand the rating. Lived in Spain, food is way worse. Portions are small. Food is bad. Prices are high. Avoid like the plague.

Went there only once so far, but we'll definitely come back. The food was great and the paella for 3 could definitely feed 4 or even 5 people. Staff was very friendly and helpful, with the prices being more than decent. If you are in the old town and want to try some Spanish food, you should try this place.

Excellent restaurant, service was friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic, flavourful, and priced well. We had a few starters, but the dish of the meal was the paella.

Las Tapas in Düsseldorf is an enchanting Spanish restaurant that captures the essence of Spanish cuisine. The warm ambiance and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere. The tapas are a revelation, bursting with flavors and textures. The pulpo a la gallega, with tender octopus, olive oil, and smoky paprika, is amazing!! The authenticity of the dishes is undeniable, with the chef’s dedication evident in every bite. The service is exceptional, with knowledgeable staff and perfect wine pairings, sangria blanca was perfect! Don’t miss the pimentos del padron, shrimps, chorizo and scallops! Las Tapas is a must-visit for a taste of Spain in Düsseldorf!

The service was very friendöy and the food fresh and tasty. The „gambas“ - prawns were fresh. A small minus the patatas bravas are not as the original but there is no perfect choice. The Sangria is crushing it. Amazing quality. The olives and bread are served as bonus. I recommend you to try it

Las Tapas was a great choice for trying paella after my recent visit to Barcelona. The paella was not only delicious but also reasonably priced at 23 euros per person. The staff was welcoming and attentive, although I was disappointed to find they didn't offer cocktails, especially the piña colada I was hoping for. Nevertheless, a tasty and affordable option for Spanish cuisine.

Excellent location in the heart of old town Düsseldorf. Service was fantastic as was the speed of dishes coming out of the kitchen. The food quality was a bit so so - chorizo isn't what you'd expect being cold and thinly presliced, more suited to a sandwich. Octopus was quite fishy, and patatas bravas were thinly sliced and fried without spices (more like common chips than anything else). Bread was also very basic sliced French baguette, slightly stale. Sauces themselves were good though lacking in quantity - aioli could have used some salt however. Highlight was the jamon and pedron peppers which were up to the normal standard you'd expect. We paid about €80 for three people and about 7 dishes, 1l house red and a cola the to which is about the norm. Overall if they went back to basics with traditional dishes I think this could be a great place, as the waiters are experienced, funny and efficient it's just food quality lets it down.

The food was a blast, the service was so friendly that you feel at home while eating, the atmosphere is also nice but it can be crowded for an introvert and very very nice for everyone.

Only called in for a quick beer. They only sell San Miguel, but it was cold and refreshing

A great place for fresh Spanish food in the heart of alstadt. Service however was a bit slow but maybe that was because we ordered a seafood paella which took around 40 mins to make. A great place and will keep going back

We ordered a seafood Paella and a beef tenderloin with Spanish fries. The food was good but the best thing were the Spanish fries. We went close to closing time so the restaurant was pretty empty.

Great service and very flexible staff. Great meal in a rustic and appealing restaurant

  • 1/5 Fernando C. 1 year ago on Google
Not a very clean place. We had some olive seeds on the bread bowl, showing they simple reuse the bread from other table and don't even clean the bowls properly. Besides that, the food was not good. Tasted like frozen food that was heated before serving. Honestly don't kno how it got 4.3 stars

DON'T GO HERE PLEASE!! Disgusting food, bad staff, who can't manage the busy days. I wonder why there still people go to a restaurant like this. everything frozen and taste like it's warmed up in the microwave. Please don't go here.

Amazing food, great service and good collection of wine. Space is a bit of challenge as it is always overcrowded but worth the time.

Nothing special about food. Very oily octopus salad. Bland patata.

The experience was good but not great. Food is simply good, but nothing special. In my opinion it is a little bit expensive for the quality of food they serve. For taking the order was pretty slow but for serving was fine

😠 I’ve been visiting this Okinii since 2020, and each time the experience is getting worse. But this time we’ve been waiting for majority of di...

👍 The place is quite lively and crowded. The ordering process is simple and the waiting time is acceptable (around 15 minutes). The food is fine, not exceptional though.
