The renovation is ongoing, with visible results; expanded menu The Papagaio branch at the Marina in Herzliya has been in renovation for quite a while, but it is now open. The sitting area is nicer and the atmosphere is younger, thanks to the new management. More improvements can be expected in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, the traditional grill menu is still available, with generous sharing menus at attractive prices, and the endless Brazilian menu is there too. Additions to the menu include a moderately price hamburger, and they finally accommodate people who don't want a meat meal with both a fish and a daily vegetarian option. Dinners begin with a focaccia and a selection of salads.

Great wait staff, great food, great view. Not cheap, but worth it!

We had a hard time finding the entrance to the restaurant. You need to go into the mall, go upstairs and walk to the end of the hall. Follow the signs for the restaurant. The English menu is clearly a direct translation from Hebrew so some things sound funny. But you can figure it out. We ordered the lamb chops and the entrecote steak. The food was delicious 😋 I would definitely recommend the lamb! I was happy to see that a Jewish waiter carried in the glass of wine. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

I ordered the Prime Rib steak, the most expensive cut on the menu which satisfied expectations and was decent value for the money. However, what I’d like to highlight is the service, especially from bartender Barak who was extremely friendly, full of suggestions and just overall a great sport! The rest of the servers were great as well, which is why I left I healthy tip. Overall, would definitely recommend!

After specifically stressing out wish for the meat assortment to be prepare Medium Rare, we have received it Well Done +++ with some of the components simply inedible. It took too long to get a waiter's attention for our remarks, and when it finally happened, we were required to wait again for an interview with a supervisor to whom we had to tell our story again. That fellow promised to notify the Chief and after waiting again and re-describing our disappointment, that Chief promised to put things right. After a few more minutes, he came back, throwing some more grilled pieces, at our plate. And, believe it or not, part was overdone and the other part absolutely RARE!

I came for the Brazilian all u can eat with a bunch of my friends the one bad thing about it was we all had to get it if we wanted to sit together The Brazilian table includes bread salads French fries and 7 different types of meat and chicken My favorite was the sausage and the baby chicken We spent a crazy amount of time here over 3 hours!!!

The food was just great. Have the lamb chops - out of this world. Steak was great too - tender, perfectly done. For dessert have the Roche Ball - chocolate heaven. Great meal, and our server was really nice.

The food was beyond amazing!!! The service was so friendly and fast !! The meat was so soft and just right , the portions were so big , basically this place is the place ti come visit when you come to isreal , aside that it’s sitting right by the water. The view is gorgeous

We have been here several times before, this time it was okay only and nothing more. The meat selection was alright (7 different cuts, chicken and beef), for the price we're paying (169 ILS PP) it's okay as you can eat as much as you like. The meat quality isn't the best we've had but fairly okay. The service was lovely and friendly and the main reason we chose this restaurant was due to the fact they're serving Kosher during Passover. Overall nice but definitely not going to be our first choice for the next occasion.

I had the all you can eat menu. The bright out different types of meat every 15 minutes. Each portion is small, but if you stay there a while they will just give you the good beef. We went on a Sunday and it was pretty empty, no reservation. If you go, just don't each breakfast and try to skip dinner the night before, haha. It's great to go once in a few months to not overdue yourself.

The service was great, and the asado was actually very good. That aside, the entrecote was overcooked, the Sirloin was just ok, and they put waaay too much sugar in the salads. I do think that this was my last time there. A pity. I used to really like the place.

Shalom, tonight (Thursday Sept 28, 2023 I came all the way from Jerusalem with a few adult grandchildren to enjoy a meal in herzlia, papagayo. Most horrible experience ever, we ordered at 18.30 o’clock. Within 40 min I asked 3 waiters What happened with our order. Noticed that quite a lot of people who came after us almost finished their meal already. The fourth time I spoke to one of the waiters, I mentioned that if the food doesn’t come within 10 min we are leaving. And suddenly we got our order. The entree was served on time (1 person only). All together we waited exactly 50 min. When the bill came the waiter was very surprised I didn’t want to tip. I explained why. Heard Lots of excuses, and when I said, if you are a client you can’t be bothered what happens behind the scenes. You want to be served, especially after 50 min waiting. He agreed. And believe me, I don’t shout, was brought up well mannered, you speak to people with respect which I did. Hope to never come again to your place. Aviva

The food is OK but the overall ambience is bad. Very old furnitures, decoration, dirty chairs (although the location has a high potential) and expensive menu so there are many other options with the same price and better or similar food quality. Not recommended unless there is no other options.

The food was delicious and plentiful. I promise you will not leave here still hungry. I didn't give it 5 ⭐ because everyone at the table had to get the Brazilian table, if only one person wanted it. We were a party of 4 and only 2 people at our table wanted it, but the whole table had to get it. I wasn't that hungry, so I kinda felt it was a waste of money. I really just wanted the steak. The service was excellent, staff went above and beyond to make the customer happy. Plus, they knew English, very good English. I would definitely go back.

Waiters needed to be reminded to bring salads and bread with the order..also the dessert that I really wanted..sorbet..wasn't available. Place is clean and great view..food was ok..with generous portions
