Very cool Roman ruins - it's very large - definitely bring water & there is very little shade - pro tip you can scuba dive in the port & they do underwater archeological digs.

Great place to visit when in the Caesarea National Park. Heaps of information about the past and even some interactive elements too, like holograms of ancient people. It is a but hard to navigate through but I would suggest just find what you need to on the main street, then wonder around.

One of the most beautiful archaeological sites in Israel. Caesars is a Roman site dates from the first century BC, and its history through the eras is well preserved. The Roman theatre and hippodrome and the crusaders citidel remains are impressive, and the modern resturants and gallery arts make a nice place to spend the day.

One of the most amazing places in the Caesarea National Park. Besides the history and the scenic views, there are a few nice restaurants here, so it is also a very romantic place to take rest and have a lunch or a dinner.

This is a must see. Really well done excavations and museum. The theater’s film production was really nice as well. Ask for english subtitles, and if another language’s subtitles are on, just go on through the museum and come back, the film will replay with English subtitles after

It is an ancient coastal roman city founded by king Herod in the late 1st century BCE as a maritime gateway to his kingdom. The foundations of the city wall from the early Isslamic period 9th century C.E. After the city is been occupied by Israeli, the government put a lot of effort to discover the city. More and more of Caesarea has been revealed. The city is surprisingly wonderful. Highly recommended!!
