My friend recommended May's and I certainly wasn't disappointed, large menu selection offering a good choice of western and Thai food at very good prices. The ribs we had were amazing, so tasty and fell off the bone (250 baht. Wow). Staff also very friendly, I would also recommend May's 😎

May’s Kitchen was the first restaurant we went to in Koh Lanta and it set the bar high for all the other restaurants where I ordered Panang Curry - here, it was absolutely delicious. So we’re the fruit smoothies and tempura shrimp. Beautifully plated - I love the orchid flowers added to every dish. Very good prices - highly recommend!

Staff were very friendly and very polite , I give 5 stars for the service but not for the food, they should improve the quality and amount of the ingredients, I paid for 250 THB for those “ Shrimps BBQ” what I got is 4 small shrimps, it not reasonable price at all, its not worth for 250! The Taste was average, lets say…

Found this restaurant with a very good recommendation on Google map but as a Thai, well, it’s quite under expectation. I can understand that it may taste good for the foreigners because they adapted Thai food so that I wouldn’t recognize it from the taste ( fried shrimps with cashew nuts for example, tasted like what they served in Europe, not in Thailand). Fried morning glory tasted normal but Tom kha was also too much “western “. I know that most of their customers are not Thai, so it’s normal that they cook like this. My expectation was too high. 😅

Delicious food, they barbecue it right in front of you! We had the ribs and the chicken skewers, absolutely delicious. Also had a mango shake which was really good! The chicken skewers simply appear as "BBQ" on the menu, don't miss out on them!

Absolutely delicious. My Girlfriend wanted chang mai Noodles for so long and couldn't find it anywhere. She finally has them now. I had fried noodle with garlic and pepper beef. Service was great and quick! Thank You May :)

I ordered a vegetarian american pizza. Staff was quick and friendly. I seriously enjoyed my food and the price was also reasonable. The restaurant felt cozy in the evening. Would definitely come back!

We've been there two times. Both times for grilled fish. On the second time, we had chicken satay for an appetizer. We told the waitress that my gf is allergic to peanuts but she didn't tell the kitchen and we got peanut sauce. The owner of the restaurant got us to the clinic and then to the hotel. If you're allergic tell waitresses or directly to the kitchen.

Pro - Fast and friendly service (was there at 6pm, no waiting time) - Delicious chicken, well grilled - Vegetables spring rolls were good, hot and crispy - Coconut milkshake was delicious and not too sweet (ordered another one after finished the first one) Con - Plastic chairs looked dirty - Chicken portion itself was okay, but not enough for the big appetite - The butter for the baked potato was very sweet. I put the butter on the side. Personally, I would find sour cream more suitable for baked potatoes

Best Thai food ever!!! Had a great experience with a private cooking class. I could choose the menu I wanted to cook. May is a very kind & sweet woman who explains everything very good. If you want to learn to cook Thai food I really recommend her!

If you’re looking for barbecue seafood this is the place to go! We haven’t tried the traditional thai dishes but the barbecue prawns, squid and pork ribs are the best we had in Thailand! We ate there 2 nights in a row and the quality was amazing!

We had Thai food only, both curries were amazing! The taste was incredible. Could not fault on much just that the service could be improved, mostly because they are super busy maybe slightly understaffed but very nice and friendly. Only thing for me was the Panang curry came with coriander which was disappointing but that’s personal preference. The portion size was very good, we had a lot of meat in both curries.

Delicious food, wonderful service, nice atmosphere. We loved that they could offer so many options to personalize our dishes based on our preferences, especially vegan options. Lastly, the mango sticky rice was just perfect 🥰

Avoid the Shirmps! For a 190 thb you’ll get 4 very tiny shrimps which didn’t look fresh at all. It’s a complete ripoff and a shame as we’re at the ocean. I can find better shrimps at Tesco Lotus. Staff was nice tho but will never come back.

The BBQ is great. We had prawns and chicken and they were both really good. Upon our request, they also ensured the food wasn't too spicy. We finished off with some Massaman curry which was top notch too. Good ambience with a good mix of crowd at the tables as well.

Very good food, and super nice staff! Highly recommend! We took the chicken BBQ with coleslaw and a baked potato, and it was very tasty, very good value for money. We also had the classic mango sticky rice in desert, and it was delicious. Their cocktails are also very good!

May is the owner and such a representative of the land of Smiles. You feel you're visiting family. The food is amazing, the vibe is so nice. I came here twice and never left hungry or disappointed. A must visit in Koh Lanta.

Yum food! Very nice presentation and very fast! Can recommend strawberry smoothie, papaya salad and panaeng curry with beef. Spring rolls were not that yum because they put anis - but that's a personal thing.

We had one of our Thai friends with us and she agreed with us that the Thai food here was pretty good. They have a bbq our front which they are also using for bbq fish / chicken etc.. Reasonable prices. Seemed to be quite a few western families there run kids which is a good sign. I would return to try again.
