I had a discussion with my friend about 'customer service' in Holland in general and while to my mind it was not bad, I am disappointed to say that the service in this place was very poor. We waited outside for an age, that I even queried if we need to go inside to order, to which I was told no. When the lady finally came out, she proceeded to take orders from the next table, despite being told that my party was there first by that group. Okay that can happen, but after ordering just a strudel and mint tea it took fifteen minutes to come out and the tea was subsequently spilled over my leg, to which I got not a word of an apology! It's doubtful if I would return to the region again, but I definitely would not return there!

Not recommended to go there for food, very small selection But looks like a great place to party

Located in the heart of the Grote mrkt of haarlam. Inside and outside seating with food and beverage menu. Friendly staff and fast service. Conveniently located near the church

A lot bigger on the inside than it looks like on the outside, but still feels cosy. The staff were really nice, and the sandwiches (we had tuna salad and pulled chicken) were good. Great beer selection.

Had a good time, sitting outside, with a view on the church... really nice service and a good vegetarian burger with sweet potato fries...

My friend tried to get in and he had a QR code on his phone but the screen was cracked so the code didn’t read. Also he was with his girlfriend next to him and he screenshot it and send it to her right on the spot but the security didn’t accept that because it wasn’t directly through the app. I believe this is unacceptable from the security to reject someone who does have double vaccination and refuses someone just because their screen on their phone is cracked.

The bouncers assaulted me and grabbed my throat after not letting me in? I asked why i wasn't allowed in, they did not answer and when i asked what the problem was they punched me in my throat and told me to leave?? I have never experienced this, and i left immediately.

Big cafe in a former cinema. Large sunny terrace for the good weather. A bit impersonal due to the size.

We have to stop somewhere because of the rain, and it was a really nice surprise. Nice and fast service, the food ((what we order good)also nothing special)) and they are dog friendly, so we will come back.

Started with some beers and a tasty hamburger, it was a long evening finally and I couldn't enjoy more. Late night the venue gets converted into a nightclub with excellent music and people..

Please find new DJ for Fridays and Saturdays . I haven't seen anything like this my entire life. Changing tracks suddenly, type of songs are not related. Total disaster

Cafe studio is the place to be if you wanna go have a nice night out in haarlem, enough space to enjoy and great music to have the full package.

Clean toilets , good location & comfy seats. We had to seat our selves then go and ask the waiter for the menu to order. No one came to us for about 15 minutes & there was no one there Nachos were microwaved with the jalapeño but the salsa and nachos were still good.

When I visited this place they had a promotional La Chouffe night put on and the place was roaring. Live band that didn't stay still and lots of people having a great time. This was a Thursday night which we didn't realise was a students night but if you want a lively drink then definitely visit Studio on a Thursday.

Average bar with good patio seating. Bathroom is annoying to get to.

One of the best cafes in Haarlem. In the summer a lovely terrace in the sun overlooking the Grote Markt. Inside enjoyable and cozy. Good beer assortment, friendly staff and beautiful music performances. On Saturday evening it can be quite full, but it always remains pleasant!
