Frenchie Restaurant

Hotel

👍👍 Wonderful place to start the day with. Lovely decor and A+ food. I ordered California Love, they add tiny pieces of dates in the drink which boost the taste. The Frenchie Eggmuffin is brilliant, it holds a perfect balance between the sweetness from tomato paste and the salty taste from the ham. 🥰... I had a great lunch at this cute restaurant in Haarlem. The Togarashi chicken bao was super tasty! The chicken was well seasoned, crunchy and all the ingredients tasted fresh.

We had a wonderful stay at Frenchie with our dog. The room was perfect with a nice comfy hard bed, bathtub an shower. Only difficult accessible for dogs who are afraid of stairs, because there are steep and open stairs. Nearby you can park your car in a garage named Raaks and you can walk with your dog along the water to Kenaupark. Especially in the morning when it is still quiet it is nice to walk through the city. The breakfast was delicious!

Cute venue! Loved the decor and service was attentive. Food was tasty and so were the cocktails 👌🏻 Wish they served more egg dishes after 12, though… brunch should be until 13h at least! (+ added points for being dog friendly)

Beautiful boutique hotel, we loved it. Food, drinks, and coffee were amazing! Our room was lovely, bright and decorated so well. Short stroll away to main square. Would definitely stay here again!

To avoid all the paperwork of legally getting married in a different country, we decided on a brief 10 minute ceremony at city hall 1,5 weeks before our actual wedding. We asked Frenchie if we could book a special brunch on a Monday morning for our wedding party of 8, to make this moment a bit more festive. They delivered! The table was set up beautifully and we felt so welcome. We had a lovely brunch with great food and super friendly service. Really made this morning special for us. Thank you, Frenchie staff, for making this special day even better for us!

Great vibe, especially beautiful on a sunny Monday morning. Ordered kurkuma tea, scrambled eggs and fruit pancake. The tea was nice. The pancakes were over burnt so tasted bitter. I remember the menu said they were with verse fruits but there were only blueberries. The toast was a bit over fried and greasy. Sundried tomatoes were dry. They were beautiful for instagram posts but I hope the taste can catch up on day considering the price.

Frenchie is a beautiful, charming little boutique hotel. We stayed in the suite and felt like we were at home. The bed was super comfortable. We had juice and coffee at the restaurant attached to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel, location is ideal for walking everywhere.

A hidden gem in Haarlem. We wish we could have stayed longer, but will return! We only booked a few weeks before travelling, and were not disappointed. The staff who we came across were really helpful in supporting our needs. Next time we will definitely eat in the restaurant, the commitments we already had prior to booking didn't allow time unfortunately. The room (suite) was spacious and the bed so comfy. It was lovely to be able to enjoy the free standing bath too after a day of travelling. The side street which Frenchie is located on is quiet, as the restaurant closes around 10pm.

Breakfasts are extremely basic and most of them based on a huge loaf of bread. Added a photo of “poached eggs” breakfast 😭 also it costs 12.50 euro

The two stars are the results of two very different experiences in the same establishment: Breakfast/Brunch Super cozy place with plenty of tasty plates (both sweet and savory). It’s often packed with people for a good reason. Dinner Small portions, average food, outrageously expensive.

Very clean tidy room. The staff were super! They even gave us doggy bowls because we forgot to bring them. I thought the breakfast was delicious but expensive.

Cozy and nice. It’s like feeling at home. Nice and very polite people. Particular and warming interior design. Food very delicious and homemade. The Breakfast absolutely a thumbs up: from the fresh orange juice, pancakes to scramble eggs. Superlatively satisfying!! Will be my one of the best in Haarlem!!! Definitely to come back.

Dinner (Rib Eye Steak) was very good. Quite a fancy place. What I don’t like: Hygiene problems in the kitchen. I saw both chefs sticking their fingers into a sauce and putting it in their mouth. They didn’t wash their hands afterwards and continued to handle the food…

We came for Easter brunch this morning after enjoying a delicious brunch here over a year ago. They have a great menu, and the food is delicious, but portions for breakfast were disappointingly small for the price. My husband’s brioche French toast was the portion I would serve on a kid’s menu.

Really nice place for breakfast/lunch/brunch in Haarlem centrum. The food was really yummy and service was nice as well. Will definitely be back!
