I drove to this place on Saturday morning from Rotterdam. Had home made gorgeous lemon cake, got into atmosphere of young couples coming in for their regular weekend routine and afterwards strolled into Saturday market, visites church with organ music, went free to an archeological museum. Coming back home to Rotterdam l had a very pleasant experience of feeling true Dutch! Next trip would be a walk along water chanels. Thank you, Haarlem and Native Haarlem cafe for making my day! Great experience at Native! I was there in June 2022 with two other friends and they were so attentive to our order. The coffee was INCREDIBLE! One small cup is all you'll need to feel ready to take on a day of exploring Haarlam. The staff also gave us a nice heads up when a seat outside opened up. Also know if you're going to do work there are tables at the back specifically dedicated to laptops.

I've been here a couple of times, it's a pretty relaxing and chill work environment for those stuck at home. Always going for a double shot cappuccino or a simple latte macchiato. Ambient music combined with coffee always puts me in that work mood and really gets me going!

We got an ice tea which was alright but had no ice so it wasn't as cold as I would have liked. My husband got a cold brew coffee and said it was good. A little pricey for the size but both had good flavor.

The location is amazing. On one of the cutest little streets in Haarlem. The service was great from friendly staff and I had a really yummy cappuccino here.

Beautiful space, great coffee, didn't like the sweets, the lemon cake felt like plain coconut butter with lemon flavour. The staff arrogant, strange program.

Everything was tasty, but the best are the soup and empanada.

Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of the actual place. It is a really cool lil hideout in the city. Its abit hard to find but looks incredible on the inside. Even though it's a small place its earthy feel with lots of green and paintings of plants and forests and the play on natural light from the ceiling makes you not notice the actual size of the place. Now if you are about healthy food this is the spot for u. Unfortunately I wasn't impressed with the food I ordered. Though its listed on Haarlems city blog as one of the top 10 places for breakfast it doesn't actually have a breakfast set on its menu. So u will have to pick and choose. It has very interesting meals that foodies will love.. Bananas on toasted bread with muts and fruits with honey is not really my thing and tho the chia pudding look amazing I guess I expecting it to taste different from what I got. If u are seeking a more traditional breakfast this isn't where to go but if u want to try something new finally try this place out. The croissant however is perfect not too crunchy on the outside and perfectly soft fluffy and flavorful on the inside. It's a great place to hide out from city life while u work or chat with friends.

Such an amazing and cosy place! It's perfect on a cold autumn/winter day, and the lights and decorations create a lovely atmosphere. The food was fantastic as well, it really feels like it was made with love. The loose leaf tea was very good as well. I'd love to come back here often, but unfortunately it's always very busy.

Lovely place. After just a few visits the staff remembered my name for my order. Atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. There are two larger worktables for those who bring their laptop, and plenty of relaxed seating for those who want to chat or read.

The best coffee shop in Haarlem. I'm there almost every morning. The cup of coffee here always makes my mood better. They always have two options on the grinder for those who prefer more fruity coffee like me. Ladies who makes the coffee are super nice and they also have wonderful cakes. Not to mention interier is super nice and cosy. If you wish there is also table for working on your computer.

One of the best cafes in the Netherlands. Great location with outside tables, cozy interior, lovely staff, and tasty coffee. What else is needed?:) I hang up here every Wednesday morning and can’t imagine changing this place for anything else.

From the moment we walked in the door: bad vibes from the Native staff. We politely took 30 seconds to a minute to look at their pastry display. God forbid I politely ask what type of crumble pie they had. In the Netherlands, apparently everyone is decisive and everyone knows that the crumble is ALWAYS apple. Then we ordered takeout coffees and a slice of pie. Once the pie was packaged to go, they tried to usher us out into the rain. I clarified we were still waiting for our coffees. Once the coffees were finished, one of the managers immediately gestured me out the door into what had turned into a wicked hail storm. She dryly said: "Good luck!" I understand I ordered to go, but maybe you could let a paying customer stand inside for a minute or two so they don't have to get hit with hail stones. The apple crumble was a bit too sweet but very, very good. The coffee is much better at AX.

Had a fantastic cold brew from this café - what a beautiful space it is, in such a nice location. Big bonus points for making its outdoor seating no smoking.
