Hands down the best coffee place in Haarlem! The owner recently opened up his café with a passion for his job and love for the product. Using high quality beans from Peru for his espresso and brewing it to the perfect extraction. The espresso had notes of plum & hazelnut praline. The inside area is very tiny, but it's very inviting as the owner is making the coffees right in front of you. But it's definitely recommended to sit outside on the bench and enjoy the sun. Will definitely come back!

a little less milk and a little more coffee (in terms of taste) in the flat white would be perfect. it is very difficult to find a good flat white in the Netherlands if you are used to Aus ;-)

The most delicious coffee in Haarlem! Nice place where you can sit indoors and outside, the baristas are very friendly. There is also a small offer of cookies, cakes, financiers, and buns.

If you are a coffee lover, this is your place to be. Ax is one of my two favorite coffee corners in Haarlem. If you are visiting with kids, maybe not the most spacious place to be, but takeaway is always a good option 😉 Last but not the least, staff is very friendly.

Popped in looking for good beans preground for the Aeropress we brought from home. I did get a flat white, and it was easily the best espresso I have had on our trip to Europe. The barista was fast and friendly. Highly recommend.

It's such a lovely place, it alteady starts with the entrance and then steppin' into this small shop. Espresso is 'new style' (for me way too much acidity to it). Prefer the italian way. If the 'new style' is your thing ... visit this nice place.
