The best bakery in Den Haag region I would say. The staff is nice, the cakes taste awesome as always. It’s fresh and very clean as well. Custom made cakes are super, I always order our special cakes from them. But ofcourse always order a week in advance if you want super customised cake.

Boheemen, a small but one of the few best confectioneries in town where you can get very fresh pastries and cakes, with delicious tastes and reasonable prices. The pastry kitchen is just behind the shop. A local bakery with a top quality. Very much appreciated that on their webshop they mention for each product whether the product contains standard gelatine, halal gelatine or alcohol. Just some of our favorites: Hazelnut Cream Foam cake and pastry (much better than the well-known one in town); Truffle Chocolate cake, beautifully decorated; Bossche Bollen (the best outside Den Bosch); very crunchy Apple Turnovers. A pity that their Sausage rolls don't have a Halal version; they seem to be very very tasteful.

They have lovely simple/traditional patisserie and usually the staff are lovely. Though they don't wear gloves when handling the pastries, which as I also work in food in the Netherlands I find a bit confusing as we have to wear gloves when handling food, and it's nothing to do with covid. I usually overlook it as the experienced staff seem to only touch the plastic around the pastry. But today I was really disappointed as there was a young inexperienced employee who put her fingers on top of the pastry and then pulled her face when I asked for a different one. She also had cream on her finger from one of my other pastries so she clearly had already stuck her finger in one while I wasn't looking. I even asked if they usually wear gloves and she just pulled her face and said no. And then she used the till straight after. I understand people need training, but wearing gloves or just not sticking your dirty fingers in people's cakes is simply basic food hygiene which they seem to lack in a lot of places sadly.

Overall liked the confectionery here. Had their walnut-carrot cake amongst other things and I wish it would have actually more carrots and walnuts in there. Their store service was on point and cordial.

Super sweet, quality, and very friendly staff. They saw me waiting in front of the store (30 minutes earlier before opening hour) and they served me. 👏

At a stone's throw from my home😋 but never bothered about it until a very close friend asked for a surprise theme based cake for her hubby to be ordered via me from this supposedly awesome bakery. Theme was PubG after the video game her hubby is immersed in to and we settled on few images and I showed it to them and the end product was just not good to see but it was a very very delicious finger licking cake. Cost: $$$ €45 for 12 ppl cake

For sugar-eaters I highly recommend this place! I bought a birthday-cake five days ago, and it was a bomb of sugar! I also had some assortment of praline-chocolates, and my God, they were terrible! despite the attractive looking and cost. I was hoping to finally try something reminiscent of what I used to have in Switzerland, but NO!! I’m very much frustrated, will never go back there again..

Nothing special about this bakery, just standard lunch snacks as found all over the country. Large offer of chocolates but I didn't try them.

Ordered Chipolata cake with a photo theme on it. All the guests loved it and the cake was delicious. Usually we dont like the cakes with fondant /marzipan since they turn out too sweet but this cake was perfect (not too sweet ) with all the flavours, fruits, cream layer along with the marzipan. Absolutely recommended ! Thanks for making our party special !!
