Nice store with a large collection of beers and so some bio-products. You can stay for some coffee with a nice doughnut and enjoy the art on the wall or have a coffee-to-go.

Lovely outdoor seating and great service. The espresso was exceptionally good and the donut very tasty. We will return to sample the local craft beer.

My favorite place to get a nice relaxed coffee. The music is always good and interesting and the selection of donuts is grand. I am also a big fan of the beer selection you can buy here in bottles and cans. Great place for advice about the beers and always something new.

More than great beer selection. A lot of your sweet stouts and porters, but most of all many fridges filled with fresh IPA's and other cooled goodies. Staff is really friendly and helpful. And last but not least they have awesome coffee and donuts. One of my favourite beer shops in the area.

Weekly deliveries of a bunch of fresh beers, including an abundance of juicy IPAs and decadent stouts from exciting breweries from Eastern Europe makes me always come back here. Plus the abundance of Uiltjes, fresh and aged favourites, of course. Great staff too. Even the music is great. Highly recommend.

Great store with employees that know what they are selling. Always something new to find in the beer section, and can always get good advise on what to buy. As friends of mine said: Mom or dad can stroll through the beer section at their lesure while the little ones are enjoying a donut, so everybody in the family gets something nice for themselves at the end of a trip through town. ;-)

Are you looking for amazing and very interesting beers, a great non formal, fun atmosphere and quality service look no further! The captains pantry offers wonderful tasting events that are fun to do with big or small groups, either for beginner or seasoned drinking veterans. The captain himself is a wonderful host who will make sure you enjoy yourself to the fullest. Telling interesting stories about the bear brewery and often pairing food with your beer that will enhance the flavor! A recommendation for those who love to drink quality beers and talk, laugh and who knows perhaps even sing a shanty or two!

In addition to the incredible shop that's open during the day, Ewoud (the owner) also periodically closes the shop to offer high-quality beer pairings. These pairings will absolutely blow you out of the water. Think vanilla ice cream with caramelised soy sauce served with an apple strudel doppelbock. Or beer and pickles from the neighboring sandwhich shop, Mama Mojo's; these are not with your average pickles and or beers! Go for a fun time, a great selection of beers that will always surprise you, and for the stellar crowd Ewoud attracts to this Haarlem hidden gem.

I visited The Pantry last week and I had the most amazing evening. fantastic beer selection and atmosphere, Ewoud the owner has a magical ability to be able to pair beers with foods, I bought 5 foods from England with me and he managed to pair them all with beers/meads from his fridges. If your in the Haarlem area and and enjoy Craft Beers the get down to The Pantry the knowledge and service are like no where else I have experienced.
