One of my cats had a dental procedure performed this week which I was nervous about as it was his first time being put under anesthesia, however the staff (receptionists, vet techs and vets) at ACH are absolute angels and I knew they would do a great job. I was also comforted by the fact that my cat LOVES them and they also love my cat. The procedure went well and they were very open with me about pricing, risks, aftercare etc. I am so grateful to the staff at Atlantic Cat Hospital for always taking care of my cats like they are their own. I have been to other vets, but none compare to ACH. Thank you ACH and Dr Julia!

Amazing and caring staff. We were very nervous to put our cat Jack through a dental surgery but he’s recovering really well and I really appreciated the follow up and check ins from staff to make sure he was healing nicely. Thank you so much for looking after our furball🥰

I highly recommend this veterinary clinic. Dr Anna and her team are so caring and really take the time with your cat. My cat Larry is very nervous but Dr Anna took her time to get him comfortable and by the end he was giving her belly rolls. I felt very listened to and am so happy I brought him here. They are also very quick at getting in touch and checking in.

Dr Anna is so amazing with both cats and cat parents. Dr Anna provided me with great advice to keep Rico happy and healthy and made Rico feel so comfortable during his exam.

This place is terrific. I brought my new kitten in here and he felt completely at home. The staff was excited to meet him, and I could tell he was having fun even during his checkup. They were super gentle with him and all of the staff seemed like experts on cats! Highly recommend to cat owners!

I’ve been coming to the Atlantic Cat Hospital regularly for almost 6 years now and simply cannot recommend them enough. Dr. Julia, the owner and fantastic vet, has an amazing understanding of all things cat. But what is even more amazing is her ability to convey all necessary information to the owner(s). This skill can also be applied to all the staff at the Atlantic Cat Hospital. They all clearly care very much for their patients and take the time to ensure that owners feel well supported after an appointment, and that makes all the difference in the world.

The clinic staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and Dr. Anna is extremely warm, doting, and good at what she does. Lots of treats and cuddles have made it as pleasant of an experience for my cats each time we’ve been in

I have no words to express my gratitude to Mrs. Dr. Anna, who takes care of my cat. Still, I'll try. I come from "spoiled" Europe, where veterinary treatment is at an extremely high level, which is why my cats lived up to 21 years. After an extremely bad experience at Burnside Veterinary Hospital, I came with my cat to Dr. Anna on a recommendation , that they are excellent. Her approach to my cat was extremely sweet and gentle, yet precise and comprehensive. Her watchful eye found out all the facts, even though I didn't tell her anything before the examination. Excellent diagnostics! She immediately ordered additional diagnostics for my cat in terms of disease prevention, which is not the norm here. There are many veterinarians who just wait for the animal to get sick so that they can treat it for a lot of money. She is not that kind of veterinarian, it is important to her that the animal lives a healthy life as long as possible. She is an EXCELLENT veterinarian who treats according to the principle "prevention is better than treatment". To everyone who is looking for someone to trust with the health of their cat, I warmly recommend Atlantic Cat Hospital, especially Dr. Anna!

Dr Julia and the team at the Atlantic Cat Hospital are by far the best veterinarian team I have ever visited. Dr. Julia is knowledgeable and cares deeply for the outcomes of the animals in her care. We had an emergency (acute/chronic renal failure) which had a pretty poor prognosis. Dr. Julia and her team were frank with us about outcomes, but did not hesitate to give us options for treatment and explain the likely outcomes. With a lot of supportive care in hospital and at home, our cat Sue has done remarkably well in recovery, and the team at the Cat Hospital has been supportive the whole way. Could not recommend a better feline vet in Halifax!

The clear cut treatment plan and also the cost review in advance which I’ve never experienced before. We love the Atlantic Cat Hospital. We've been going here for years and wouldn't think of going somewhere else. Having a specialized vet see our cats is ideal. We only wish we could bring our dog here too :)

Received a complete misdiagnosis for my cats arthritis and kidney failure. They thought it was a urinary tract infection and tried to sign her up for dental work ($$). I would not recommend.

You will not find a place in Halifax that cares as much about your fur baby as you do. The staff here are exceptional. Kind, non-judgemental, informative, and thoughtful. They are so accommodating and always go the extra mile for your fur baby! I couldn’t recommend a better place for the care of your kitty.

I took my very anxious little tabby in for a checkup and Dr. Anna and the whole team made the experience less stressful than I expected. Dr. Anna gave Yarrow a very thorough examination and spent a lot of time with us. She also sent me home with notes about her findings and a care plan. The other team members were also helpful, efficient and kind.

They are a great team of vets and assistants. They always look after my cat and he loves going to see them, he never comes home in distress. They spoil him with attention and are very good at even the most invasive procedures.
