I called because I needed to size my ring for my finger. I called and spoke to Agnes, who was very polite and told me to come by for a curbside fitting. I was very grateful. Upon arriving I was greeted by someone who is not Agnes that was very rude to me. Immediately she told me this wasn't essential. I told her I called and asked to come up to which she did not respond. When she asked if I had the ring (which I do not which is why I needed sizing) she rolled her eyes???? I would rate them 1 star, but Agnes is great and saved them. Won't be reccomeding this location to anyone.

Purchased many items over the years from h William's , guitars, my wife and I wedding rings/bands , had a custom ring made, chains, earrings, always the highest quality and customer service! Highly recommended. I added just a few of my pictures

If it wasn't for the signage starting that this jewelry store is also a pawn broker I wouldn't of have even the smallest thought of it being so. This location is kept well and the same goes for it's staff. The young lady helping my other half and I look at rings for my birthday we well groomed and had excellent people skills. I highly recommend this store for everyone, whether you're looking for new or second hand. Today I'll be looking in one last store and if I don't find a ring there that catches my eye and heart then I'll be sending my other half back to get the ring I've posted a picture of with this review.

My fiancé and I went looking for an engagement ring together, and we went to multiple stores just trying to see what they had in stock. We couldn't find anything like what we really wanted anywhere. It was Shay that we talked to, and after showing some example pieces, she recommended special ordering something, which at first freaked us out because we had a lower budget, but she actually went into her price book and was able to give us an estimate that was extremely reasonable, and even cheaper than many stock items. She was really dedicated to helping us find the perfect ring for us, and was really helpful through the whole process. We ended up with the perfect ring that we'd both envisioned, and it was even better than I thought it would be, and still well within our budget. Now if I want any other jewelry, I know I'm going back to H. Williams, especially because I know I will receive excellent customer service.

I brought in my grandmother's wedding g ring that was damaged and missing the centre stone. The jeweler here was able to swap a stone from a different ring, repair the setting and shine it up. I super happy with it, and also happy with the service I received from Agnes. I am recommend this store for new jewelry purchases and jewelry repairs 💯

When it was time to purchase an engagement ring we stopped by and met Shay. She was great! She took the time to get to know us and was very knowledgeable /helpful with the design of our custom rings. We're very happy with the final product and will definitely go back and deal with Shay.

H. Williams has been my go-to jewellers for many years, now. The staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They go out of their way to make sure you are confident in and comfortable with your purchase. I love that H. Williams is a family owned and operated business. You are made to feel a part of that family! I recommend them without hesitation ❤️ I have purchased many pieces from them, as well as having several pieces custom made.

I have been to this location multiple times and every sales associate has been exceptional. Most recently I was helped by Gwen, she patiently helped me pick out a birthday gift for my spouse. It was a stress free interaction. She worked with my budget and spouses preferences to select a necklace that she absolutely loves and frequently wears. I first started going to H. Williams Jewellery when I was a kid with my Dad to pick out lifelong treasures for my mother and family members. I was always amazed by Ralph and Glen with the way they did business. Being able to now take my wife and kids to buy more lifelong treasures and still be treated with honesty and fairness. Times have changed and so have the faces but the company that started so many years ago still delivers very excellent service and value. We highly recommend H. Williams and have sent countless people there. Thank you all for everything you have done for our family.

I have been dealing with H Williams jewellers in Hamilton for the past 13 years. Specifically with Gwen who is an absolute wonderful lady. She has done amazing jobs with helping me design gorgeous necklaces right up to my engagement ring for myself and my wife, which were both stunning. I can’t emphasize enough that if you’re looking for someone with experience in the business and great prices, you need to reach out to Gwen at H William jewellers.

The middle aged blonde woman in this shop is not a good person. I purchased a diamond & gold chain from their James st location 3 days ago after having my eye on it for a while. The lady who sold the chain to me was lovely. I also told the lady I had been looking for an upgraded engagement ring but never find what I like. She told me they had a few things that fit that style at the upper james location and to stop in. I called in and another lady told me about one of the rings and even sent me a picture upon my request. I came to the upper james store to see about selling my current ring and putting it toward a new one from them. The lady (middle aged- blonde) very quickly told me I wouldn't like their answer before looking at it any further. She then said they would only pay $100 for the gold. So I just decided to have a look at their selection. Instead of asking if she could help any further, she stood there the entire time watching us like security and glaring at us. I went to the store with my fiance and child! She even gestured toward us while saying something to another staff that came out the back. Since it felt uncomfortable and no one asked us if I needed assistance I decided to leave. All while this lady (middle aged- blonde hair) kept glaring at us. Before I left, I let her know she made me feel very uncomfortable standing and staring. My fiance chimed in and agreed- mind you we didnt mention it to each other in the store. She claimed she was watching to see if we needed any help. Well wouldn't it be wise to ask if she could assist any further? I said this to her and she muffled something back. I also let her know the other lady in the store sold me a diamond and gold chain a few days before and that I was a paying customer. I have actually purchased two times. She literally went silent. Maybe it was because we are young (early-mid thirties) or because we are black. Needless to say I would not recommend this location as they need to educate their staff or this woman on diversity. She must of had some preconceived notions about us based on the experience I had today. I visited both of the other locations and was not treated in this manner.

I always request Natalie.I live 6 hrs away from Williams Jewellery. I have reached out to her on many occasion with amazing results. Natalie always takes the time to share pictures with me and guide me with her professionalism and knowledge. I would rate Natalie a 10 plus, plus!!! Thanks Natalie for everything that you do. After an extremely horrible experience with a large retail jewellery store (no names but they are in most malls across Canada) who had my engagement ring for over 8 months with NO resolution. Their repairs turned into repeated damage to my engagement ring setting. So I brought it to Dan and his team and they reassured me, consoled me, supported me and ultimately restored my engagement ring back to its original version (actually better than the original!) Local businesses like H Williams need to be celebrated for the work they do and the disasters they fix. So Thank you so much to your amazing team!! They are the real gems 💎 ♥️

I took my 24 year old engagement ring here to switch the band from gold to white gold. It involved taking the diamond setting out and recreating it set in white gold. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results! I also purchased a new band and couldn’t decide between two very beautiful bands. All the wonderful ladies who worked there gave me their honest opinion and helped me make the right decision! Everyone was so kind and patient with my indecisiveness. Loved everything about my experience at H Williams jewellers!

Wonderful staff and service! I wanted my wedding rings refinished and polished. Went to a jewelry store just up the street first, and was told my rings needed more work than I thought, for quite a cost. My gut told me to get a second opinion, and I’m glad I did! H. I turned my wheel left the last second peeling down Upper James heading north into the H Williams Jewellery store. I had already been to two other jewellery stores that day looking for an engagement ring. It was only 5 minutes to closing time, but the staff let me in happily. I was assisted by the assistant manager Natalie who from that point on was wonderful. She was extremely knowledgeable, personable, down to earth, kind, and fun! She made the whole process for me, the nervous man, very enjoyable and relaxing. I got a great ring for a great price and, overall, left feeling very warm and satisfied. I would recommend anyone to this great store. Ask for Natalie !
