This is the best place ever! The people here are the most passionate people in the world about gliding and soaring. I was able to finish my flight training in just 2 months thanks to the dedicated instructors. I will definitely be a regular at SOSA for the rest of my life. SOSA is such a positive influence in my life. I highly recommend SOSA to everyone.

The introductory flight is a must-do experience! Booking was seamless; Mo promptly responded to my email and guided me through the booking process. The grounds are well maintained, and everyone there is friendly. Our pilot Bob is great! He took his time explaining everything to us. Make sure you wear sunscreen, bring a hat, water bottle, and bug spray. Wear comfortable clothes. Don't forget your mask. The experience itself is fantastic. It is so quiet up there. I especially enjoyed the zero-gravity feeling. SOSA is a nonprofit organization. Please support these super friendly folks by booking an introductory flight. Everyone at this club donates their time. I've wanted to fly in a glider for a few years. This year, my husband gave me an intro experience for my birthday. I went on a Monday and had a wonderful time. This club is run by volunteers, so the vibe is chill and casual. Chris and Emile made it an informative and thoroughly entertaining experience, super friendly guys. My first flight was as I expected, so graceful, peaceful, floating in the air like a bird. Great take-off and landing at the hands of Chris, who even let me fly for a bit! 30 minutes of bliss in the sky, an escape from the world below - no engine, no vibrations, just the sound of wind through the vent. It only made me want to do more. I came away feeling so zen and relaxed....yeah, I'll be coming back, but I'm gonna learn how to fly this thing next time.

Memories of my childhood. To experience the flight of a bird in a glider is the ultimate one with such grace and fulfillment. Long for my father to be here and able to take me up again. Bought an intro flight as a birthday gift. It was great! Everyone involved from the gliding club was a pleasure. They were friendly, welcoming and went out of their way to explain things and to make the flight a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend as a gift for anyone on your list who is even a bit adventurous.

This is a gem. The experience was incredible and memorable. Andy is such a kind and friendly intro flight instructor. He made the experience worth the trip. The place is very serene and homey. I'm happy to have spent my birthday here.

As a licensed fixed wing pilot, it has been an amazing experience to go for a glider intro flight, I was truly amazed and even considering getting a glider pilot license. I was paired with Gregg who’s an awesome instructor, very easy going and fun to fly with! Highly recommend their intro flights, all the employees are volunteers and club members, which is awesome!

My wife and I both had an introductory flight. It was incredible. Having experience flying powered aircraft, I believe all of us pilots should experience this. No headphones necessary. So quiet and peaceful. Beautiful. Like an eagle capturing and floating in thermals The staff and crew are all volunteer and totally professional and enthusiastic. They will make your experience one to never forget.

It was amazing experience here love it here ❤️❤️❤️it was my birthday I asked them that I want to fly Sunday and they for me in very nice people all are experienced well .I really enjoyed here it was 20mint up in sky and 15mint introduction as well I paid 230$ but it was worth it . They also gave you some spin as well . Instructed air at back of you who have all the controls you just enjoy the view

I contacted Sosa back in the spring when my husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I told them part of his bucket list was going up in a glider again after doing it 50 years ago. Dupak guided me through setting up a gift certificate, setting up dates to fly, changing dates due to side effects of chemo, hospitalizations, bad weather, etc. All dates were changed without me ever feeling like we were a bother or trouble. Today, my honey finally got to go for his flight. When we arrived, the kindness and special consideration given to my husband was phenomenal. They even bought up a golf cart so he wouldn't have to walk so far. His pilot Greg, went over everything, posed for pics, helped him both in and out of the plane, and made him feel like he was a very special guest. The extra kindness was noticed by my family for sure. I just can't say enough good stuff about your awesome club and people. Tom was so delighted with his flight, he says God sparing...he may be around to do it again in the spring. Thank you to all once again and God bless each and every one of you!! Margaret

Awesome experience with professional service. Greg does an excellent job with passenger briefing and preflight. He explains fully what will happen during flight and if there is anything special you would like to see or any flight maneuvers you would like to experience.

I accompanied friends who were first time soarers. They loved the experience. This is a fairly informal operation, but they do seem careful and safe. Be prepared for a lengthy walk across a field to get from parking area to flight area. Friendly people.

Had a bit of a wait since there was a shortage of "intro" pilots and since I didn't pre-book the flight. Just showed up on a holiday. That being said, everyone was awesome. Jeff (glider pilot) did some cool stuff with the glider, including 0g. Was a bit more expensive because it was the weekend but had an awesome experience.

Booked 3 flights for family members Had to reschedule twice due to weather. SOSA was great in helping find a day and time that would work. The experience was fantastic. The members that were met contributed to a fantastic day. Able to add an extra flight. Can’t say enough positive things about this club and the day. It was definitely a check off the bucket list for our family.
