    We came here for a late lunch after seeing the decent reviews on Google and was pleasantly surprised. Although the place was empty, the staff were kind, food was tasty and ambiance was very nice.

    Washroom had no running water and there are flies but then again this is Africa. On the positive side, the food (Ethiopian) was out-of-this-world good. Highly recommended if you're in the are!

    Great food and nice atmosphere inside. Friendly staff and menu in English (or at least dish name in English). Good options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike.

    On a road with lots of bars this is a very nice place with both local and international food. Interior nice, quite big with both a courtyard and a few rooms indoors. Cosy. We had their special tibs (tibs served sizzling on a charcoal burner). Best we had in Harar. The pict published here does not show the restaurant.

    Nice setting and a friendly lady who recommended the special tibs, but the beef was VERY chewy and hard even though I had asked her and she said it's soft but that wasn't the case. I could only eat a few pieces. It's one of the most expensive dishes on the menu and should be well prepared.

    Lonely planet recommended but they tried to pull a fast one with the bill. Food was fine but check the bill carefully.
