This is hands down of the classiest restaurants in Harare, with an array of palate teasers served throughout your meal, it certainly feels like royalty. If you need to have a private event, they got you covered and are able to do a personalised menu for you. The managers are all very good and easy to work with and the venue itself is spectacular. Note that you need to make a booking for lunch or dinner and that they dont serve Saturday lunch. Prices are a little high so if you want to go all out for a fancy evening out, this is The Place to go. Downside is that the vegetarian options are limited, apart from that, it's a good menu.

This is one of Harare’s top notch hotels so if you are looking for fine dining and food it’s definitely the place to go. They also have a really good vegetarian menu. The service is impeccable; the ambience is glorious and the decor is to die for. They definitely have all the As lined up! But go with a fat wallet as the prices align to the right 🙊

It was a treat to go for dinner at the highly rated Victoria 22. It is the type of place you get dressed up for. The ambience is everything and it doesn't matter how many pictures you have seen of the place - they don't do it justice. It is classy. The waiters are attentive and articulate. On the day I went I had the butternut soup which was to die for. Unfortunately my Tomahawk steak was switched with someone else and I had welldone instead of medium well. Thankfully, I was apologised to and given a free dessert. The brownie was delectable... simply sublime. I appreciate the effort, maintenance and commitment of the owners and staff of the establishment. Prices are slightly high but the experience is fine dining.

I have never eaten food this horrible in a lifetime. They seem to just boil everything and when i asked for guava juice i was given a very artificial juice which i declined only then was i given original Guava juice. The waiters kept forgetting orders and it took the third waiter to give me a soup spoon. What is only beautiful there is the setting. The rest is rubbish i must say

Victoria 22 is an up-market restaurant. Were they as a party 30 celebrating a friend's acquisition of a doctorate. Had quail (lovely!), and my wife had oxtail. Grounds are superb too for our photoshoot.

This a quiet and peaceful place to dine. The place opens for lunch and closes to reopen for dinner. The ambience is serene. Located in New lands a few minutes away from the city. There is a bar were people can have drinks and talk at the same time. The place is very casual with beautiful well maintained gardens visible from the bar the patio or better still sitting out. Different types of functions can also be hosted here including birthday parties and weddings. For parties the place has a noise restriction and thus cannot accommodate live bands. However, a sound system may be used with any D Jay of choice. The place is great and I definitely recommend it. Make your booking early.

Loved the food service

Had dinner there last night, the place is beautiful, the waiters are very friendly. We were just disappointed with the main meal and service, partly. The finger foods were yummy. However, we spent a significant amount of time waiting for the main meal, until I spoke to one of the waiters who said they are serving a bigger table outside. The main meal came, it was cold and it wasnt looking yummy or 'inviting'. We enjoyed the oxtail but the fish fillet was bad, I didnt even take a doggy bag of it. The fish and oxtail was served with a small portion of rice and veges. I am not sure if the veges were meant to be a garnish or were part of the meal. If they were meant to be part of the meal, it was too small a portion. Overall, the atmosphere is amazing.

My grand mother called to book a table and couldn’t get hold of anyone so decided to make the trip there, on arrival the guards did not want to let her in.. eventually she got through and was treated as if she was not good enough to be there!!! finally she booked a specific table for 14 people. 3 days prior to the dinner she received a call saying they have the right to move our table and that we would have to have a set menu at $50 per heard which we did not want!! Very sad and dissatisfied!!!!!!!!

I didn’t get to try the food. Their website has about 5 phone numbers and one contact place. No one picks up or responds to ANY of them. After 3 days of trying, I figured they don’t responded because you can just show up. BIG mistake! They don’t let you in without a reservation. So, if you are a tourist visiting Harare (like we were) I suggest spending your time (and money) elsewhere.

The ambience was amazing with relaxing music in the background. Food is served timeously and it's fresh and lovely. Be careful you might get full with just the starters as they are quite generous. They have a good selection of wines.

Ranks as a consistently upper echelon restaurant and dining venue. Service is discreet and courteous. Food is prepared with care and well presented. Sampled the set Christmas Dinner menu that provided enough choice for anyone. Prices were really fair considering its status as a premier choice in Harare. Worth a visit.

Our group of 5 all agreed that this is a quality restaurant with excellent setting and service which was marred by very tough t-bone steaks. The kitchen checked and acknowledged that the t-bone steaks were tough - a resolution was offered (2 free desserts) which we agreed. Nevertheless, our bill contained the full charges for all food incl the 2 very tough t-bone steaks and all desserts. We paid and left without quibbles.

I visit this place with my family a lot, great ambiance and usually good food. However on my last visit l was not impressed by the service and the steak lacked flavor, l did enjoy my dessert. EDITED IN 2023 So l had my birthday dinner with my family last night,V22 still remains in my top 3. Staff service was top notch, they sang for me in such a tasteful way and made my and I feel welcome as usual. The stand out dish for me last night was the pasta and lamb dish topped with parmesan and black pepper, decadent and creamy.

Was at the wine & whiskey bar for a birthday drink. Great looking bar and selection. It was an Open bar so didn't see the pricing but the service was good and so were the canapes. Lovely garden beyond the patio but it was too cold to be outside

Easily accessible along Victoria Drive. Quite private and low key. Its a very cosy plce for fine dining. Perfect for dinner dates, friendly dates etc. The staff is quite friendly and they have specials. Their mashed potatoes are to die for. Decent portions served. Enough parking space. They also have a bar for private parties and events. There are in door and outdoor tables. You have to make a reservation first before you get there.

Beautiful ambience and food. This restaurant falls within the fine dining category for us in Zim! The servers and host were absolutely warm and knowledgeable about their menu and specials and delivered it verbatim with gravitas. THE FOOD. I enjoyed my husband's prawn starter more than my own crumbed blue cheese For mains, i opted for seafood and enjoyed the seafood curry dish, my husband had the steak, made to his preference and it was perfectly prepared and flavourful. I'd definitely frequent Vic22 more, subject to the price tag that makes it an occasion restaurant (we were celebrating our anniversary). We spent just over USD120.00 for our two courses and drinks.

1. Our online reservation want honoured because they said they've put down their website, even though in real terms there portal still works and takes reservations without stopping you. 2. I was seated at a most uncomfortable table and my attempt to change tables failed, as all the other 'empty' tables around me were "all reserved". No one came to occupy them and the fact that they were "reserved" meant that their reservation system was operational. 3. Food was okay but I had better expectations, maybe I was put off by the whole thing I didn't enjoy my food that much. I also had a very noisy table nearby that also made my time there not fully enjoyable. The staff were unwilling to help quieten down that table occupants. 4. The place is exceptionally well setup and the ambiance is perfect. 5. Due to the mess-up, the staff were confused as to what to do. There was no attempt to turn that event into an opportunity to give good service. All in all, It wasn't a pleasant encounter and it was completely lost to us as there was no attempt to rectify things.

The steaks were out of this world. I will not be forgetting their affogato. It was the highlight of my night. The staff were quite friendly and really went out of their way to accommodate some of our not so usual requests.

Went to The Wine Bar @ Vic 22. Amazing !! Each of the 7 dishes we shared was imaginative and absolutely delicious. The cocktails were also fantastic and the vibe was very laid back and relaxed. Service and attention to detail were perfect. The only surprise was that there weren't more patrons ! 10 out of 10 !

I used to love this restaurant but our last visit left a lot to be desired. Service wasn’t the best but what was worse was the food. The T-bone steak was so tough, my sister gave up eating it after a few attempts, the lamb shank was tasteless and the malva pudding was just average at best. The only thing on the menu which was someone okay was the chicken livers. We were all a bit shocked as the food used to be quite good. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back there.
