This is a very nice and cozy lodge. There is a swimming pool, fish pond, gym, relaxation area, common living rooms, parking. I really liked it.

Sandalwood is a hidden gem tucked away in the leafy suburbs of Mt. Pleasant, Harare. It’s 5-star rating is for real. The furniture is well thought through and placed appropriately. And Chef Lucky is a master with his fine cuisine and 5-star cooking. A bit on the pricey side but worth it especially for the discerning traveler who needs an all inclusive package but without the noise and bustle of town or hotels.

Everything was perfect, the food is yummy and the reservations lady Ammy was extra nice to us. My whole team loved everything about the place .

Gorgeous spot in the tranquil area of Harere. Friendly helpful staff, very comfortable accommodation in a beautiful relaxing environment. The breakfast was AMAZING with hot options each morning. Take advantage of the Chef’s talents and plan a dinner it - well worth it! The two loaner bikes were a bonus and enabled an impromptu morning ride around town in the glorious ‘winter’ weather.

Sandalwood lodge was excellent, the staff is wonderful, rooms large a clean. The food is to order as a private chef on premises takes dinner orders in the morning as individually selected. Only 15 rooms on the property that makes it an intimate boutique hotel. Shopping and restaurants are a short walk away

Overall, the ambience and feel of this lodge is breathtaking. The landscape and the decor is so elegant, beautiful, and serene. It was the perfect place to end my three country journey in Africa from the U.S. Every staff person I interacted with, including the owner and the chef, were very courteous and attentive. The Sandalwood Lodge will definitely be a go to place when I want to get away from my environment in the U.S. to relax, recharge, and refocus.

The Manager was very Rude , disrespectful and staff where not honest . Had come for a meeting with one of Sandalwood guest and also looking to book a room . I will not recommend anyone to this Lodge

An absolute oasis of calm and elegance close to the heart of the hustle and bustle of Harare. From the moment we checked in, tired, dusty and travel worn the genuine warmth of the welcome was outstanding,. The accommodation is outstanding, the gardens a delight…but it is the people that make the place nothing is too much trouble and all delivered with assured calm and kindness. That chef Lucky is also an incredibly well travelled culinary genius is the icing on an already very beautiful cake!!!!!!

A really magnificent lodge

This place is small and very peaceful. The rooms and bathroom (new complex of lodge) have a great decor. Great aura. Can be a nice place for couples. They have a gym and sauna. Beautiful garden and many sitting places with a different decor makes it attractive. Service!!! Exceptional service.

My husband and I stayed at Sandalwood for over 2 weeks and it was absolutely amazing. We are frequent travelers, but we haven't come across an establishment this well presented in a very long time. The staff make you feel straight at home from the first moment you arrive. The location is very tranquil with beautiful views of the well maintained garden. The staff members always had a smile on their faces and eager to help at any given moment. The restaurant had a lovely variety of different cuisines. We ate like Kings every morning and evening. This is a beautiful gem, which I would recommend to anyone. Two weeks honestly felt too short. Thank you for your passion and dedication Sandalwood team. We can't wait to see you very soon!
