Went there with the family in 2021 on Christmas day. The place was too crowded and there were so many confusing things. I think they were still developing the place. Getting the car inside was very difficult from both gates. The security was not organised. The staff at the bar was also not swift. People were having fun though I think a lot could be improved and I hope it is better now. There should be more braai stands and also the Idea of charging people who just want to take their personal picture just because they have an actual camera not just a mere phone is not so straight.

It's a good place for relaxation and fun with family and friends. They have several entertaining activities like horse riding, zip line, swimming, canoeing, and visual reality entertainment - of course, these services are offered at various prices. They also have several games for kids like swing, jumping castle, and water slide. They have tents, chairs, and brai stands you could use for free. Gate fee for entrance to Stephen Margolis as of Dec. 2023 is 5 USD.

Beautiful place with a lot of space however they don't allow own food and drinks yet they don't have variety of food,car park is away from the entertainment area, you cant play your own music.

Lots of fun activities to enjoy.. its a good place to have a happy time.. securitywise its okay.. all your food and drinks you can buy from within.. lovely zipline and a rather short boat cruise

Epic! Lots of fun things to do. However crowd decency sometimes not child friendly (dress and dance styles more suitable for night clubs not picnic sites) and no covid protocols at all. People were totally unmasked except for staff and a countable few patrons, no communication for reminders on covid, no sanitising points and no water in toilets. 😲😲😲 Also no first aiders in sight. Some of the activities are thrilling but scary and one girl "fainted" at the giant swing but there was no first aid procedure. Yet really its a place for real good family fun and picnicing.

The resort is more of a family friendly or group of friends environment. It offers picnic areas surrounded by a man-made lake. There are many activities to choose from, which include zip lining, horse riding and a boat ride. There is a resident dj who plays music and an open area where you can relax or dance and they offer braai facilities aswell. Overall its a good place to go as a group of friends or with family but I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic getaway unless maybe you visit there mid week when there is less traffic. Their overnight package for a standard room on bed and breakfast was $65 at the time

A good place for refreshment , credits to the responsible authorities the place is good for Business meetings and corporate events,weddings,parties and any refreshment function of your choice. There's also accommodation for families and the guest rooms good enough for couples, kids and any random grouping of your choice. Its a recommended place to visit

Very beautiful scenery but my only worry was that you had to pay an extra fee for all that you bring. Also, they do not allow a camera and say that you have to pay a camera fee. That sounded absurd for us considering we visit to capture memories and if they say as long as your camera is not a phone camera then you have to pay a $20 fee. It becomes way too much after all the entry fees, parking fees and activities. That just put my group and I off. Definitely, won't visit again

Its an amazing place. Lots of activities to explore. Giant swings, canoeing, Zipline, Virtual Reality Simulator, Speed Boat, Horse Riding, etc. There is unlimited sparking space. Their Staff is friendly and welcoming. I am sure you will love it too.

It's a good place for day activities,braai, horse riding, zip line, giant swing, speed boats and a play area for the little ones. The prices are very affordable. You can bring your own food and beverages or you can find them at the venue, it's a braai area so be guided accordingly. The other thing I liked about it is they employ the locals, by locals i mean people around that area, Kudos for that. If you want a place with day activities that is closer to Harare that won't strain your pocket then here you got a place to try out.

This is a nice place to hangout with friends, there is canoeing, ziplining and braaiing. Access to this place was not easy from Harare cbd since the mbudzi interchange overpass is under construction.

Great place though PA System in conference hall was not functional

The idea is great but the services are bad like they don't even pay the attendees, those guys don't have care for the customers especially in the bar

A good place to go with the kids especially during the day and a good place for adults during the evening.

Attended a wedding. Venue was lovely, lake was stunning as was the canoe ride. A few more toilet around the venue would help as its a large place.

The place is just something else very attractive and conducive good for wedding

Cool place for groups,(friends and or family)

- There is inconsistency in how customers are treated. Some (like me) were asked to pay to get in with own braai packs and drinks while others (family that came later) were not. Our car was not allowed into the picnic area (which is significantly far from the parking lot) and had to beg to bring it in just to offload stuff. However, a few hours later anyone who wished could bring in their cars without a hustle. - The staff expect to be "paid" directly by customers for doing their jobs. They did not say it, but they lingered around enough for you to get the message. There was also some dishonesty...we did not get all the meat back that we had paid to have braaid. On follow up, there was a lot of finger pointing among the staff before the meat was finally handed back to us. - There was noone to mind the jumping castle or control how many kids could get on at a time and for how long. It was complete chaos and quite a risk to the kids.

Headed out here for the Kites for Peace event and was pleasantly surprised by the resort. Some nice elements, like the steps up the rocks and calming to sit by the water. Of course it would be different when quiet and no event on but we enjoyed it.

The drought has really affected most places with water attraction features. Also the unfortunate burnt building is an eyesore

Averagely priced refreshments good open air environment, has some activities though didn't partake (zipline-meh, horse ride, swing...) Good place to have functions as group. Getting there traffic via round about maybe jammed find alternative routes.

A good day out, pity that some parts of the roads to the resort are not so good. But once there, it is a nice place to have some fun or just relax and do nothing.

The distance is really really really far but other than that it's amazing place.....

The activities were great, the place is nice and good choice of music and a great place for kids and hosting birthdays. They need to improve on food kukitchen. I ordered chips and 1/4 chicken braai but the chips were not good and the chicken was so dry dry like it was deep fryed or something the look was not even appetizing it was not even that juicy braai chicken like what was written on the menu……….come on for $5 you could do better……
