The Borrowdale Country Manor is a secure, comfortable, modestly priced guest house on the outskirts of Harare, with a variety of accommodation options from bedrooms in the manor to individual thatched rondavels on the grounds. The quiet location, open sky and restful gardens allowed me to unwind after forays afield into the bush wilderness.

I had the most awful experience imaginable at the Valentines Dinner that was hosted last night!!! Your menu was suddenly changed at the last minute; the event started late; there was only one waiter for 30 people; the food arrived 3 hours later and to make matters worse, the food was COLD! This was the worst experience ever!! This is completely unacceptable!!! Word to the wise, do not go there for dinner with your loved one. 70% of the people who attended demanded a refund
