The place is amazing. Exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed watching the tortoise 🐢 mating 🤣🤣🤣 and the wolves 🐺 fighting 💜💜💜✨✨✨ I wouldn’t mind going there again even though it was my 4th time since birth. Drinks costs $1 any type….

It delivered what was promised. Birds of prey. The bird collection is amazing. Even though they are caged, they are well looked after. The grounds are lovely and staff are helpful and friendly. Food choices are as valuable as well as a full bar.

It is one of the cleanest if not the cleanest lion conservation park I have been to in Zimbabwe. The drive is fun and thrilling. I recommend a 4x4 because it could be risk to go with a low car especially during the rains. The pinic site is on point. Again, its very tidy. Wheelchair friendly too.

Arguably one of the best experiences l have had anywhere in the world. I was in awe of all the animals I saw which included a rare white lion, 300 year old tortoise, crocodiles, wolves etc. The guides were very knowledgeable and the facilities clean. Plenty of activities including horse back riding, game drive etc and the park is only 30 mins from Harare.

Beautiful ,unique bird park. really enjoyed my afternoon there. There are many things to see and do at this park. For example, you can get to see lots and lots fo birds ranging from the exotic parrots, macaws, all the way to our local birds like the Fish eagle, owls, vultures ,falcons etc. There is great staff ,polite and well mannered. There is a 4pm bird show where the owner gets to show you the different birds and tell you how they operate, eat and their history. There is also a good restaurant and bar and various other activities at this beautiful bird park

The lion park is very open and worth a visit. In the open wild life park many lions to be seen taking the midday snooze. In the caged park only a few lions but very active good to see from a safe distance Tommy the turtle is still going strong and the park is slowly growing back to its former size

A bit of wilderness right next to the city. Impressive collection of animals (the obvious being the albino lions- beautiful) . A lot bigger than you would think and taking one's time to go for a game drive or venture to the view points is strongly recommended. Remember to take a car built for slightly fought roads (a small car will manage but with lots of care while driving).

I love this place! It has a lovely atmosphere and the birds are well cared for. I enjoy the bird displays where they fly owls and hawks normally around 330pm or 4pm depending on the season.

The kids enjoyed, great place for up close and personal with the king of the jungle. Lion Park has other great animals Camels, 300 years old tortoise, white lions etc. Great place to spend your day. No need of pre-booking

Great place to spend the day with friends and family, there are quite a few lions to see here as well as a variety of other animals including camels, a 300 year old tortoise and a few white lions, among other animals too. though the road on the game drive could be abit better it would be a lot harder to navigate through with a small car, but over all worth the trip to.

The park is still recovering from the Covid-19 lull. There is determination to bring it up. All the structures are in place. Visitors should start coming in for the spring and summer.

Always reliable well-cooked meals, of your fish, or steak & chips style. Prices are in USD, which may be a little high for some. Beautiful lakeside view to enjoy for the day. Motorboat trip to look round the lake. Fantastic bird park with a 4pm interactive outdoor display to teach visitors. Lovely open large spacious lawn area for kids to have fun & games. Overnight accomodation is decent at 40usd for up to 6 people sharing. Only 25 min drive from Harare & its OK for a normal car travelling there.

Lovely place. My kids enjoyed the horse ride and patting Tommy the 300 year old tortoise. There is also a nice picnic and braai spot. True to it's name there are a lot of lions white ones too. I miss the elephants and the cheetah hope they bring them back.

There is a wide assortment of animals. Both indigenous and exotic. The white lions and the wolves were interesting to watch as well the Alaskan Malamute Dog. Feeding time which is around 1430 hours on Saturday and Sunday is a sight to marvel. PS - Tommy the Tortoise is still alive and is over 300 years old

Leo the lion is my favorite!! Great tour guide by the name Taurai

  • 1/5 Svetlana D. 3 years ago on Google
Very shocked and disappointed. The first enclosure the lions are starving and limping. They look drugged. The other part was even more depressing, the animals are kept in such small enclosures for a big park and they all look sad. I don’t understand how this is happening when it’s so obvious to anyone. Seriously, the owner needs to change what is happening there. Extremely disturbing seeing this and won’t ever go back. Overpriced as well! I will tell anyone who’ll listen to not go there.

  • 4/5 Tendai M. 3 years ago on Google
Great place for families. The kids loved seeing all the different birds and learning about them. The bird show is absolutely amazing. Kids loved the play ground and the huge open space to play. Kids can swim, ride a horse and go on the little train too. The meals were good and fairly priced. Drinks selection good and well priced too. The only down side was the lack of running water when we were there. They should probably also shift from rubbing soap to a pump bottle especially in light of Covid-19. This does not take away from how amazing the place is though. We have been here a number of times over the years and will definitely be visiting again.

    Lions and game drive

  • 5/5 Brian B. 4 years ago on Google
You can get very close to the lions as there are numerous vehicle tracks. There is a separate drive with various plains game such as eland, zebra, giraffe, nyala and several others. There is also an absolutely enormous Galapagos tortoise which they say is 300 years old, quite believable due to the size. There is a walking track that passes by various smaller enclosures with their own animals including a rare white lion that is quite impressive. Definitely worth a visit.
