Adorable cove with a beautiful view out into the ocean. Lots of boats moored here and they make a nice photo opportunity. Nice amount of parking in the lot if you plan to launch here.

This is a wonderful place for a picnic and to sit on the beach and read a book. They actually have books you can read on site. The view is spectacular and watching the sunset is mesmerizing. I love it. God bless yall for this place.

Nice little beach area before Giant's Stairs. Kids can get their feet wet and the parents can admire the working boats in the cove.

Quiet location with nice views and we'll marked parking. Went mid morning and there was only 2-3 cars but everyone was spaced out a few hundred of feet so plenty of space to walk a dog or have a picnic.

Nice little beach area. We actually were driving to the lands end gift shop area and saw this place as we were driving by. We turned around and checked it out. Glad we did, great view. There is limited parking but the time we were there it was relatively empty, only about 8 other people in the area. This year there is a lot of seaweed washed up on the shore but that was everywhere we went. The beach was clean except for that. There were quite a few boats anchored there which was a really nice picture as well.

One of the iconic harbors of Maine, still a working waterfront. Nice place for kids to run and play, take a cool dip.

Such a great find after walking around the giant's stairs. Got to cool off in the water and explore the cove. Most hermit crabs I've ever seen in my life.

The walk along the path to the big stairs is an easy one. The small town is a beautiful New England fis...

👍👍 This sweet little trail is located right off route 24 for easy access. There is a dozen or so parking spaces but no rest rooms, grills, or picnic tables. The trails are clearly marked and are moderately challenging due to roots, mud, logs, and rock ledge that must be traversed. You are never more t...

👍👍 1/15/21 - Spent 30 minutes here late afternoon with no wind, lots of ocean going birds around. Enjoyed watching the buffleheads feeding, would have liked to chase away the herring gull pestering them. Two loons in winter plumage, red breasted mergansers, eiders, goldeneyes, and a bald eagle. For...
