We had breakfast at the Roxy’s Cafe today since in this town everything seems closed on Sunday but thankfully they were open and we are glad!!! So nice, kind and the price very reasonable. The food SO GOOD!!!! Thank you for being open for tourists like us haha! We arrived from NYC.

Wonderful old-school breakfast and brunch diner. Most affordable prices you’ll find. Ample indoor seating, friendly & prompt service, been around a long time. Check ‘em out.

Service and food were great, highly reccomend the elvis waffle! I also loved the seasonal painted windows, very cute touch. I visited from out of town but would definitely eat here again if I was local

I have patroned this place on numerous occasions, and while it's never been an amazing experience, it's been a cheap and enjoyable one. However, after this last visit, I'm not returning. The busboy/man that works there is the most miserable human I have ever encountered. Anytime I've visited, he has ALWAYS been miserable, and I've caught him saying a few nasty things under his breath, but this last time was the final straw. My husband and I had just walked in the rain with our baby to have a nice Sunday breakfast at this place. We walked in, took maybe 30 seconds to dry off, before being very rudely greeted by the busboy as if we had kept him waiting. There's no hostess station or logical order of things at this place. You're seated whenever he or the waitress becomes available. He never made us aware in the 30 seconds we had been inside that he was trying to seat us, but as soon I look up from checking on my baby, all of a sudden he yells HELLO with the most attitude he could muster and slams the menus down on the table. He rolls his eyes with his whole head and walks away. That's it. That's the greeting. The waitress then comes over and is very nice (she's always very nice) and seats us. But honestly I was in such shock that I told my husband I didn't feel comfortable staying. We left and had a much better experience somewhere else. It just sucks that this guy still works there. He's a stain on their otherwise good reputation. Let him go or you're gonna lose a lot of people.

This place is just the best!! Me and my mom went here and for at least two days after we're where would not stop talking about roxys food, the way it looked and the customer service. If you are in the area go to roxys!

I was a bit disappointed in this place. We went there for lunch after looking at the website menu. No where on the website did it say they only serve breakfast. However, once we were seated the cook here’s us talking about ordering mozzarella sticks and tells us that they only serve breakfast on Saturday. They really should post that on their website. Eventually he did let us order sandwiches, no fries or anything that needs a fryer but I was able to get a grilled cheese sandwich. It was good. The service was a little slow but the waitress was nice. I would like to be able to try this place for lunch.

Sunday morning so the waitress was crazy busy. We had a reservation for 10 for 1030, at 1015 since we were not there, they cancelled the reservation and released the table. When we arrived shortly before 1030 they worked to put the table back together. 7 of us were present. We ordered drinks. We ended up with an extra OJ and shorted a coffee. After a short wait. I decided to track down the coffee. The waitress admitted she forgot. The late comer arrived as the orders were being taken, but he was skipped anyway. He had to track down the waitress to order. Food arrived as ordered. She got everything correct on all 8 meals. Everything was cooked correctly. Coffee refills were very consistent until we finished eating, then table service ended. We waited a while for the check to come then decided to head to the register. Overall I understand she was busy but as the place emptied out the level of effort didn't return. Home Fries were cooked well done as I requested, coffee was hot, food served hot and arrived quickly.

Went into the capitol for breakfast because the free breakfast at the Fairfield by Marriott Harrisburg wasn’t worth the price & basically Roxy's Cafe was pretty much the quickest all day breakfast spot my husband found. We arrived at 11am, had a full breakfast but they were also serving lunch. Glad we didn’t let the rundown look of the place prevent us from getting a decent breakfast. Seems they do diner food really well to a loyal local clientele. I had the eggwich with a bacon and cheese add, hearty breakfast sandwich that was on point with a fried egg. Hubby had one of their specialty breakfasts, that included sourdough French Toast, Eggs and bacon. The French Toast was beautiful, I would have ordered it if real maple syrup was available vs. “pancake” syrup. Eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. Probably want to skip the OJ but the coffee’s good. Our server was super friendly and professional, knowing many customers by name. The staff was very welcoming in general. Could’ve done without Fox News on the TV, but that’s a personal preference. Couldn’t quite bring myself to walk down the scary basement stairs to use the restroom. Not sure if we will be back to that corner of Harrisburg again, but I’d go back if in the neighborhood for a decent bite to eat.

Great little cafe on the corner across from Harrisburg’s Capital Building and State Museum. Food was excellent, lots of options for breakfast and lunch. We all had breakfast and could not have been happier with the service and preparation of the meals. Also, unbelievably inexpensive.

Great little diner. Cozy feel. I've been going for breakfast every week and the wait staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Food is very good, I've been happy with everything I've ordered.

Gem of a place near the Harrisburg Capitol. Need to come back for breakfast. The lunch was fine. Service was exemplary and friendly. In and out in under 30 minutes.

I attached photo what I ordered. Photo was not like fresh and tasty. Some parts were fully burned. Bread is as usal toast bread, fried egg was also not tasty. Here is not a choice for me a second time breakfast cafe. I ate only toast bread which was tasty !?

Perfect greasy spoon diner in the heart of historic Harrisburg. Menu size is great plenty to choose from breakfast and lunch wise. Food was solid. Dated interior but in a good way. Outdoor seating available. Employees are very nice. Prices are cheap, not reasonable but downright cheap for what you get. They also have daily specials. Parking can be tight on the street. Would definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

Great little downtown breakfast and lunch spot. Staff is friendly, food is decent and inexpensive. Portion sizes are good to generous. My son loves their French toast. They have some pricing specials earlier in the day.

I enjoy coming here in the mornings for coffee and breakfast. The waitress, Stacie, couldn’t be any nicer. Great local spot.

Awful experience on a Sunday afternoon with Ashley and Stacy. Worked horrible together. Ashley did not know which tables she was serving. We watched our food sit on the counter for almost 10 minutes while one of the servers watched it, the food was so cold when we got it. We had to send it back and eventually just left because it was such an awful experience

The server was great and the food was even better especially the Greek Pita and Vegetable Pita. Great for vegetarians. Then the homemade dressings topped it off! So delicious! 5 stars!!!!!

The food was splendid, reasonably priced, and the staff friendly and attentive but the rest room is not handicap friendly. If not for that inconvenience, this would have become a regular place to go.

Wasn’t impressed at all with place. I had heard a lot about it since it’s been here for so long. Our food took a while to be brought to us and when it was, everything was cold. The service wasn’t great either, and after eating one of my eggs I saw that there was a hair on my plate. One of the people of my party had mistakenly ordered bacon instead of turkey bacon— we brought it up politely to our waiter and later on heard them complaining to the cook about it. Won’t be back again
