Beautiful monument for a miletry disaster that occurred in 1997. A small garden and personal stone for each of the 73 soldiers that died in the disaster. Very nice for a quick visit. Including a voice recording describing what happened in both Hebrew and English.

It is a bit tricky to find this place but when at the North of Israel it's a must visit place. Very moving and very sad, it commemorates the 1997 Israeli helicopter disaster and dedicated to its 73 fallen. It is beautiful and meaningful. When you're there don't miss the simpler, less "designed" part of the memorial which was created right after the disaster and before the formal moment with stones and water was built in 2008. Tip: The monument can be reached by taking road 99 from Kiryat Shmona to the intersection with Road 918, opposite Horshat Tal. The monument is located directly after the cemetery for Kibbutz Dafna. This site is open all day, free and is wheelchair accessible.

It's a sad and beautiful monument, reminding you how much young blood has been spilt in order for the state of Israel to survive, accentuated by the red trees and green trees. This one of the spots where wreckage from the accident fell to. No family should go through what the relatives of these young soldiers went through. Recommended, even if only to remind you that life is fragile.

Andre is very dignified and invested, makes and cares for and commemorates in a way that evokes a sense of remembrance and respects those who perished in the heavy disaster that befell our country in February 1997. The country recognized Brady Phils as the 74th killed but he does not appear there to the best of my recollection. I recommend stopping there and taking a trip to the monument.
