Best budget motel we have stayed at! Room had air conditioning on for us upon arrival, first time that we got that service. Room smelled clean & very pleasant without being over powered. Room is very clean & tidy. Towels were newer, fluffy & clean. Outside was clean, there was a guy walking around making sure all garbage & smoke butts were picked up. Older building but seems very well maintained.

It was ok clean. It could have used a deep cleaning, and the sheets and towels looked stained. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The lady at the front desk was really nice!!!!!!

Check in and check out were a breeze! Accommodations were all in running order! The room was comfortable and clean! Breakfast was excellent (Kudos to the lady in charge of the meal)! Compared to other hotels in the area, the price was very reasonable! We had a pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel to others. The only remark is that, even though there aren't many steps to get to the second level, for some, even that many is an effort. An elevator would have perfected the stay. Thank you!

We stayed at this property for a youth softball tournament. It is very convenient to get back and forth to the sports complex from this location. This is an older property, but has been well maintained. Our only complaint was the bed, it was not the best. But considering there is no elevator, I would imagine the rooms on the ground floor get rented most often, so if a better bed is important, I would try an upper room. We plan to stay here next year. =)

Room had issues. Roaches when I turned on the light in the bathroom. The sink leaked water all over the counter when I turned it on. It is not attached correctly. The motel was only about 10 % occupied but they still bunched everyone together and I had a door in my room that went into the next room. You could hear everything they did and said. Felt like they were in the room with me. They of course got up at 5 am and that meant I was getting up then as well. Hard to believe all these 4 and 5 star reviews on here. Those people must have never stayed at a nice motel before.

Immediately should have asked for a refund and left. It smelled off the moment I walked in: sticky carpet floors, mold that has been painted over in the bathrooms, all bottles of soap/shampoo had residue all over them, the door didn’t close all the way so not only is it a security risk but drafty, and a lingering cigarette smoke smell. Also none of the pictures show the rooms open to the outside, making the sketchy door situation worse. There was a winter surcharge for fresh snow making the $49 a night, $92 and absolutely not worth it.

This is an older motel so it does show some age. It smelled clean, the beds were so comfortable and I really liked the comforters. The breakfast area was clean and two sections to sit. The food was decent. I had scrambled eggs, raisin bran cereal and oatmeal. My husband had mini waffles, sausage, oj and a banana. So, there variety enough for both of us. The battery in our remote needed replaced and maintenance changed it as soon as we asked. The prices through Wyndham Rewards were super reasonable. There was overhead heat in the bathroom. Pillows were really comfortable. Heat and ac worked well.

Hats off to the cleaning staff! One of the cleanest well put together rooms I’ve had the beds were made amazingly very tucked in and clean and just a very well-made bed something you just don’t see people take pride in anymore. I was very impressed with how clean that room was. The continental breakfast was OK. The staff was friendly and polite. The dog fee was only $10. Yes I’m traveling with my dog Fate. And it wasn’t overly noisy by any means it was not quiet, but it was not people, yelling and screaming like the last place I stayed.

Surprisingly nice for the price. When traveling, because I drive long into the night, and get back on the road fairly early in the morning, I can't see paying a lot for a hotel or motel. I'm just dropping my head on a pillow for 8 or 10 hours. Why pay a hundred dollars when I can get a decent room for less than $50 (usually through Expedia). That's this place. Very decent room, quiet, and a pretty decent hot breakfast for less than $50. Would stay again.

Staff was fairly nice. Rooms are old and cleaners don't do a great job. Smudges and almost every surface and curtians had many reddish color dots.

I do like that the place was pet friendly. The staff was meh… bare minimum - checked us in and out with no pleasantries or any actual conversational skills. Breakfast was lame and utensils were empty and staff didn’t seem to care. The room itself was very dated. We were put in the very back of the hotel and there was literally no other cars in the back. It was kind of creepy. Someone did try opening and fiddling with our door late at night. Thankfully, our dog scared them off. The place needs a good cleaning and some elbow grease and it would be fine. Need to thoroughly dust and clean from top to bottom and maybe run inspections more often to ensure staff is meeting the guests expectation of cleanliness and upkeep. You can see in the photos that the walls are in need of repair and the corners of the room have years of grime. They clearly just do a quick clean but never a deep clean. Also, there is one pick that also looks like a hand print is on the wall? It was right above the toilet…hopefully it wasn’t bodily fluid that helped form the hand print.

Say what you want, but this place is pretty good. I know nothing about the breakfast since I had to check out early for work, but I will say that when I book a room, my top priorities are three things. Clean smelling hallways, clean smelling rooms, and no pest (roaches/bedbugs). This hotel met those standards in spades. I admit it doesn't have hallways per se since it's outdoor rooms, but equally, it doesn't smell like someone has been smoking something that they likely shouldn't in most states. The rooms are affordable when you book online.

Rooms were very nice. And the jacuzzi tub was very relaxing after a long work day. Staff was very helpful with anything we needed.

I checked in late. Got to my room and there were gooey crosses finger painted on all 3 mirrors, headboards, TV, and bathroom door. I went down stairs and the attendant (Heather) told me she didn’t know how they got there and she could clean them up (which she did) but she couldn’t move us to a different room and we were welcome to find a room elsewhere but she couldn’t give us a refund. I called around and all the rooms were booked in the area. This is the most disgusting and creepy hotel experience of my life so far. She did say that she would not stay in the room herself that night. She said she would text her manager so they would know what was going on and that the manager would be there at 7am. The attendant also said that sometimes they don’t change the sheets between guests but she was willing to help us change them that night because she felt bad for us. The next morning I go downstairs to talk to the manager and he is conveniently out of town and cannot be reached until after the 5th. The two girls that were at the front desk said they could not help me at all and laughed at me when I explained how upset I was. One of them asked what is the big deal she wiped the crosses off didn’t she? They said that the housekeepers thoroughly clean between every guest but couldn’t tell me how the gooey crosses got placed in all the corners of the room. They either aren’t cleaning this place or they have a staff member that has access to the rooms and is doing disgusting things between guests. The lack of common courtesy and the lack of basic hygiene was astounding. If you have the option, don’t stay here. Look at the other poor ratings before booking. This is a $40 disgusting Motel that increases the rates to over $130 when they know travelers have no other options. They reply to the google reviews but won’t actually talk to the customers other than to say it’s not our fault what do you expect us to do.

Clean. However asked for a handicap accessible room, as their website says they have them. Was told it should work, has to get use the desk chair the first day to get around the room for my wheelchair would not make it from one side of the he room to the other due to the bed and entertainment center setup. Had to get a transfer chair to finally make it more manageable. Complained more than once, no offer to another room or anything. Even once I was able to get into the bathroom via transfer chair there was still no bar by the toilet to be able to assist in getting off and on the toilet.

I travel for a living and gotta say I was very impressed with how clean the room was, even the carpet. The cleaning staff here is amazing!! The bed and pillows were very comfy, and the comforter was thicker than what you would fin at other hotels. Did not expect this for the low price, so if I ever need to stay in Hays, this will be my hotel. Front desk staff friendly as well. Win-win.

This is a nice Baymont. A bit dated. Parking lot felt safe and was well lit. The rooms were clean and check-in was very easy and quick. Continental bkfst consist of cereal, fruit, round pre-made egg rounds and sausage links. Good coffee for the road. We were here for a quick overnight stop. The dog area is large and clean but you will definitely need a leash as it's right by the road. My husband commented they put up a fence they could advertise a dog park. We would and probably will stay here again our many trips between MO and CO. Safe travels everyone.

Great stay! Friendly staff, handy location right off 70 and our room was large, clean and comfortable complete with a sitting area with pullout sofa and a sweet 3 panel mirror in the sizeable bathroom. Savannah at the front desk was super sweet and helpful. Had a great night sleep and was refreshed for the drive back to Denver. I'm a travel agent and stay in accommodations from budget to luxe--this one checked all the boxes for an economical stay. Will definitely choose Baymont next time I pass through.

We only stopped for the night on the way home. Hotel seems a little sketchy from the outside. The staff was so nice and the room, even though old and needs updates, was very clean. It felt like they try to make the best out of what they have. Hot shower, quiet and decent breakfast.. just what we needed to refresh ourselves for the drive home

I would not stay at this hotel again. The carpet was so dirty that our bare feet were black after walking it for a short time. The bed sheets had yellow and black stains on them. One lamp in our room didn’t work. Due to staffing issues, our room was never cleaned. If we wanted new towels, we needed to go to the front desk. Our three day stay cost us over $400. It certainly was not worthy of $400.

Pet suite was spacious and very clean. Parking was very close to the room and the property is well lit. Best pet area I have ever seen at a hotel. It was large, well lit, and kept clean throughout the day. I would recommend pet travellers to work this stop in while traveling!

Pet friendly suite was very nice. Cleaning staff did great. Room was convenient to parking, machines and pet area. Hands down best pet area of any hotel I've stayed. It was large, well lit, and the they keep it cleaned up throughout the day.

Booked through Hotel.com I chose this hotel based on reviews and price as it was middle of the road in both. Very convenient location. I'm pretty sure I would have had the same experience at econo lodge for half the price. Front desk guy was nice and quick. He gets an A. The room was meh. Outdated in decor (probably 1980s) which really isn't a big deal except the carpet looked gross and I didn't want to walk barefoot on it. I saw 1 bug in the bathroom but big deal its a first floor room and bugs happen. Beds looked clean but every time you sat down on it or stood up from it, it banged like you just kicked a file cabinet. It was resting on top of a file cabinet type box. It was a quiet room at least. AC worked. Breakfast was disappointing but I sorta think the front desk guy was alone and doing both duties. Shriveled sausage, pastries, fruit and Walmart yogurt. Waffle maker was a plus for my kids but no eggs. Coffee was ok. Won't stay again as price is doesn't match the experience.

Just off of the I-70 exit and relatively easy to get to... if you don't mind roundabouts. But that's a Hays thing, not a Baymont thing. Nice room for the budget-minded. Clean room, microwave, and refrigerator. Comfortable bed. Sofa older, but nice to sit on. Those WynDry towels were thick! Loved them! Breakfast included waffles, breakfast burritos, oatmeal, muffins, fruit, hot chocolate, juice, and coffee, plus, and served in a clean, cheerful seating area. There's a tall bottle refill in the water fountain. Front desk staff was pleasant. Outlets for charging electronics were on the bedside tables and desk. No elevator.
