Small room, but with good service. Main door has a different key than the room key and don't forget to go outside without key for smoking because then you will be locked outside and no staff will be there after 10 PM.

One of the best places to stay. Rooms are nice, staff is cooperative, hotel has nice restaurant. Rooms have balcony. I enjoyed my stay overall

Convenient place to stay in the vicinity to EMBL. Very friendly and attentive staff. The rooms could use a touch up - but this is merely aesthetics - comfort was excellent.

Very nice hotel in a remote area, so no city noise :) We had 2 bedroom apartment with a huge terrace. All clean, some kitchen appliances available. The apartment (as the hotel) makes a bit old fashion impression though... Some refurbishment wouldn't be needless)))

The A/C was a bit confusing to work with. The room was otherwise nice, refreshed every morning.

I was in ISG hotel for attending an EMBL course; the hotel is at a perfect location to commute to EMBL. It is a little far from downtown Heidelberg. The surroundings are quiet and the hotel staff is very helpful and kind.

Pros - Spacious and comfortable rooms, close to EMBL campus so good for conferences. Friendly reception service. Cons - Terrible wifi (poor signal and extremely slow). Not very accessible from Heidelberg city center after midnight.

It’s a bit away, around 25 minutes by public transport from the central station. But the facilities, stuffs and breakfast was great. There is a balcony with almost all the rooms that will add an extra comfort during the summer :)

Great location at the forest edge with a 20 min walk to EMBL (or one could take a shuttle bus). Very quiet, relaxed atmosphere, good breakfast, beer garden/terrace. Just WiFi is a bit patchy in the rooms.

I stayed at this hotel in connection with a visit to one of the residents of the nearby Augustinum carehome, which could not offer guest accomodation. The price for the single room was very reasonable, considering that it was large room with a very comfortable bed. I appreciated the modern feel and the excellent clean conditions of the room, not to mention that it was very quiet and the balcony offered a wonderful view as well. Pity that I needed only one night, but I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to the Augustinum.

The location is kinda out of downtown but close to the Embl. In case you wanna go downtown, some planning will be needed. The staff is very kind and helpful. Check in was smooth. The room was clean and well equipped with a water kettle and sachets of tea and coffee. And also free bottled water. The beds were nice but kinda narrow. Could be broader. The pillows were not the best but can be managed. The toilet was clean and sufficient. Breakfast room was very well organized and worth the price.

Bring your sleeping mask - no real curtains! Otherwise very good hotel.

The rooms were good, but only 1 free bottle of water for a 2-week trip, also internet was really bad. Close to EMBL though and has a nice beer garden.

Great apartment for a good price and very friendly staff! Childfriendly, also the hill area/city. We'll visit again. Only minus was the couch bed.

Amazing place to stay especially if you are attending a EMBO-EMBL conference. Good food. A short walk will take you to the amazing wilderness. COVID testing center is right at the parking lot and is open till 14.00 hrs.
