You can find a lot of Marimekko items at a discounted price here. If you like the thrill of hunting down a hidden gem, this place is for you. The shop is clean, spacious, visually vibrant and well organized. Staffs are friendly.

Nothing extremely cheap really; most items are on a 40% discount. The store is big though and there are lots and lots of products available, and the designs are nice for sure.

This is the mothership for all things Marimekko for those who want to pay a bit less than full retail price. The fabric selection is particularly good and they often have great deals on classics for roughly 15-25 EUR. The staff is amazing and are all very fluent in English since they also cater to a large number of tourists who are fans of Marimekko. There is a lovely lunch buffet in the building for 11EUR, which includes coffee and dessert, so you can make a lunch date out of shopping at the outlet.

Marimekko is an important design brand in Finland. It is quite unique in it's design style. Marimekko vlothes and other items can be seen everywhere in Finland. I personally am not a big fan of their design styles, but I appreciate their efforts and importance for our design industry. So if you like to get essential Finnish design fabrics and clothing, this is an excellent location for some serious shopping. For an outlet this is quite easy to reach, take the underground to Herttoniemi station and walk from there. The outlet is in the same building as their factory, so items sold here are definitely made in Finland.

Absurd when a t shirt made in china cost over the 100€ and even more when it is sold over the 70€ in an outlet! The quality of Marimekko are also very disappointing!….

The staff was wonderful and very nice. My friend tried on a dress but needed a smaller size that was not on the rack. The salesperson went into the back/storage room to see if that size was available and it was. My friend was thrilled! We found amazing merchandise on sale and a wide variety as well. There was so much stock to choose from including clothes, towels, fabric, bags/purses, mugs, kitchenware, socks, umbrellas, tote bags, wallets and lots more. We had a fabulous time shopping. The best part was receiving a cloth Marimekko bag when you purchased at least 100 euros. I will definitely go on a regular basis. There is a cafe as well in case you need coffee or get hungry while shopping. Definitely recommend to visit here especially if you have someone visiting you.

This is such a wonderful store! My second time here now. The store has a combination of regular priced items and a lot of outlet-priced items. Every time I am here, the staff has always treated their customers so nicely and very helpful! Needless to say, I have bought many more beautiful pieces from Iittala to add to my existing collection. The manager was so helpful and kind! she made my day :-D

Herttoniemen teollisuus alueen kupeessa oleva Marimekon myymälä oli positiivinen kokemus. Marimekko itsessään oletetusti kallis eikä tuota Outlettia välttämättä huomaa hinnoissa. Myymälä kuitenkin tosi siististi laitettu ja tuotteita löytyy todella paljon myymälästä. Parkkipaikkoja löytyy kadun varrelta muutama, mutta Hertsin kauppakeskuksesta ei ole kovin pitkä kävelymatka myymälään.

Ihan ok paikka, vaatteiden sovitukseen oli hurjan pitkä jono, piti hyllyjen välissä pika sovittaa puseron päälle maripaitaa, että koko olisi oikea . Mekkoa olisi ollut vaikea samalla menettelyllä sovittaa. Onnistuneet ostokset tein ja ystävälle löysin hyviä verhokangaskanditaatteja. Eila

Kulku sisään oleva opas kilpi oli väärässä paikassa, jouduimme kiertämään taloa. Automaatista sai vain kahvia, pullasta puhumattakaan, ei lainkaan pullaa. Myymälä oli siisti ja vaatteet, tavarat järjestyksessä, henkilökunta mukava.

Service is a hit or miss here but it’s certainly a fun place to shop for their great inventory. For me, it also carries personal nostalgia of coming here with my mom over so many years while growing up. Due to it being an outlet, you do see a lot of interesting sample products or “one offs” you would most likely not encounter at any other standard Marimekko store. I tend to always leave with a purchase whenever I come. As other reviewers have stated, the place is split between the outlet home section, outlet clothes and then the regular priced/current season section. On sale seasons it’s truly a bargain and you may have to employ more aggressive tactics to snag your choice of items. There is also a little lunch resto at the back of the building which reminds me of Finnish school cafeterias. In other words, simple, nutritious and efficient food and service.
