This is the second time we have stayed here and, despite the ongoing covid restrictions, the service has been first class. The room was spotless and the staff could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

We were upgraded to a Premier Plus room because of a maintenance issue, which was a nice surprise. Had to ask for another towel as inexplicably only provided with one bath towel for the two of us but it was provided swiftly. Vending machine was out of order which was slightly annoying. Staff were friendly and polite. A bit of a walk into the town centre, but straight down the main road, easy to get out in the car and into the countryside though.

I stayed at this hotel on a Sunday night a few weeks ago for a golf break. Unfortunately I left an item in the room. I have called over 50 times (which costs local rate plus mobile fee) and have only got through 3 times. They do not return the call as they promise nor do they do anything to return the item even though I have offered to cover any costs. Good rooms and breakfast, just very very poor customer relations.

Overnight stop. Went for a Premier Plus room as a trial. Quieter and overall better than a standard room and we will consider them in future if there is only a few pounds difference. Friendly staff. Location isn't the best but OK. Car park is larger than it looks as it has a second parking area you can't see and you drive in.

Lovely room, comfortable bed plenty of space. Has a great bathroom and shower was lovely. Breakfast would good but compared to other Premier Inns there were things let it down.

A good hotel in good location, handy for center of town. The service was good with friendly and helpful staff. Room 120 was clean and spacious with comfy bed and extra sofa. The only inconvenient was the constant noise that we could not stop. Wasn't the aircon or bathroom extractor.. not sure what it was but nonstop through the night and it gave us headache and tinnitus and we could not wait to leave next day :( .. if we ever come back I would insist on a different room.

Really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. Good base for exploring the Peak District. Hotel receptionist on arrival was smiley, welcoming and very helpful. We had a good room, quiet, spotless and with a fabulous powerful hot shower. Often no one on reception when we came in and out, but you could help yourself to teabags and milk. 15-20 minutes walk to the Opera House, tourist info and the Crescent. Lots and lots of eateries, pubs, shops within walking distance. Tesco local next door, pub within 100 metres. Would return here for sure, if in the area.

The whole chain is generally good and for the most part so was this hotel. The things that let it down was, we ordered an evening meal when we booked only to be told there wasn't a chef to do the cooking. So late notice on Saturday trying to find a restaurant that was fully booked was not easy. Also one of the bedside tables was hanging off and the other side was missing. On the plus side, the staff that were working were mainly happy and helpful. The rooms were clean and the showers had plenty of hot water. Bonus for this hotel is free parking, which is rare for Premier inn's.

Definitely well worth the stay, excellent value for money and temperature controlled rooms. Great staff, working hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. My only negative point with the location generally was that the free WIFI is not good unless you upgrade and the 4G reception in Buxton is not brilliant. Limited bar in the evening but lots of other choices to go to if you prefer. Breakfast was fantastic and well worth the cost.

Rooms were fine, some bits were missed with the cleaning though (hairs in the bath & around the sink). Location was fine, easy walk into town although wouldn't be much fun in the rain. Our main issue was that we couldn't connect our phones to the free WiFi. When we queried it with the member of staff, he told us it was an issue they were having with android phones & it had been going on for over a week! For over £100 a night & no WiFi, I wouldn't rush back.

Nice, newer feeling Premier Inn which was clean and quiet (the room overlooked a Tesco petrol station but you couldn't even hear any noise from there). Staff were super and very helpful, and hotel was in a good location for Buxton town centre.

A nice premier Inn. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Looked recently updated. Cosy bar area, friendly receptionist.Reasonably close to the town centre, a short walk away , although it is Buxton, so slightly hilly in parts. Great for short stays .

Very clean room breakfast excellent. Evening meal was fine . Would have been 5 stars but the poor availability of drinks spoiled that. We had to go to the Tesco store next door to get our preferred alcohol. The staff were lovely, very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. Being pensioners, it is just a little too far to walk into town. Turn right out of hotel car park and marketplace car park is couple of minutes drive. I understand now that regular bus service available The bustling garage next door can be seen but not heard. We will definitely be returning because Buxton is lovely and this is a nice hotel.

Very basic Had to go to reception 4 times as room fob to open door did not work, there was only 1 towel in room there were 2 adults. Window in room you could not open it, air-conditioning did not work. For £119 per night won't be going back.

As usual, everything well organised and clean. What we weren't told was that there was work going on on the second floor to convert rooms into Premier Plus so no lie in after 7. 30 on Monday morning !! We back in November , so may be able to upgrade to the new rooms then, so look forward to it .

We had a great stay here. The manager was very helpful and friendly when we wanted to check in early. As always, our room was clean and tidy with everything we needed. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Buxton with plenty of shops along the way. Highly recommend the Pavilion Gardens and the caves, which are just a 20 min walk away. Breakfast was served in the cosy dining area at the front of the building and was great. The only downside to Buxton is that it's a throughway for a lot of traffic, and bikers also seem to like roaring up and down the main road. But you can't deny those stunning views all around, and the local people are very friendly.

Local staff and hotel were ok, but Premier Inn customer services is awful, once they have your money. Took ages to reply, reneged on basic promises and generally really unhelpful. Won’t be returning.

Modern refits and rooms, bathrooms, super close to hiking spots / locations and the town. Family room is super spacious and heating / ac works quickly. Snack options available downstairs!

The staff here when we arrived and over dinner service were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. However, we booked as a family, me and my son and my elderly parents. My mum being disabled. The lift was broken. The vending machine was broken. There was no mash potatoes, pineapple or coleslaw. Mum ordered gammon, which came with 2 eggs, that were like rubber and we wondered if they were left over from breakfast? We bought Lord dinner for 6 and by 7:20 we’d had starters of prawn cocktails and a garlic flat bread. Main courses took quite a while longer. We were put in rooms at alternative ends of the hotel. Then my 6 year old slipped over in the shower the following morning and went with quite a bang. So be careful of the slippery bath tub. Breakfast was nice, but the staff were not. The lady cooking breakfast snapped at my mum when she asked about the cooked breakfast. They don’t have a fryer, so even when you check the menu with the QR code, they don’t do everything on it. We usually really enjoy a stay in a premier inn, but this was pretty bad! The fact we were so far apart and the lift was broken, we’re the worst parts for us. We were told the lift was being mended the day we arrived. But it was still broken when we left. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The best thing about all the numerous Prem Inns we're stayed at is their reliable quality. Nothing fancy just clean, comfortable quite rooms hot shower & nice towels. Added to that great breakfast & handy restaurant if you want either or the flexibility to have 'room only'

It's a Premier Inn, so you know what you are going to get. It's a budget chain, but I can see why so popular. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable and it's quiet. Unusually for a Premier Inn the food is not in a chain pub nextdoor as part of a tie-up deal. We only had breakfast, it was very nice. Free parking, but the carpark is barely adequate. Oh well, barely is good enough. They seem to be not enough members of staff.

Very friendly staff, recommended a few places to visit which was really nice. The only bad thing I'd say was constantly hearing a load sound, i thought it was the air con but switched it off and could still hear it. If you are a lite sleep then it's not ideal. Also can could hear foot steps from the room above.

Very nice hotel, the rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast is superb, we had the cooked buffet breakfast on the two days we stayed and it set us up for the day. Recommended!

What can I say. The moment I arrived all the staff are welcoming and helpful. My day started off 5am from Kettering and arrived at 6.45am. Of course too early to check in but the young lad (sorry forgot name) was happy to let me leave my car there while I prepare for my friend's wedding day. Come to the afternoon where we all went back to the hotel to rest and change outfits it was approx. 1pm still too early to check in. Charlotte who was looking after the front desk/bar/admin had the time in her busy schedule to help me check in early. She was very patient and always smiling! And what a beautiful smile it was! Definitely brightend up my afternoon! She managed to get me a room which was a bonus. Including the cooking staff and all the others I ran into that day where all smiling and extremely helpful. If only every Premier Inn ran like this there would be no need for complaint boxes! Thank you all again and hope to see you again! P.S If Charlotte is reading this message I hope you enjoyed your little gift 🎁 😊

Terrific Premier Inn stay as always - in fact maybe one of the best ever as we tried one of the new Premier Plus rooms for the first time. More space for relaxing and work. And can’t fault the large, comfortable bed. Friendly staff and excellent restaurant for evening meal and breakfast.

Clean room. Friendly and helpful staff which makes a really positive stay. Lovely hotel and has a petrol station next door which is convenient. Remember to ask if you want your room serviced. Thanks to the lovely staff.

Nice location clean and tidy. A couple of issues Was in a 1st floor bedroom overlooking the car park no net curtains. Every time you went to the reception there was never anyone on so had to constantly ring the bell to get someone to come.

Had a good 2 night stay here, staff were excellent, very welcoming, everything you'd expect from a Premier Inn, decent amount of parking available safely around the back, restaurant and bar both very modern and well equipped. Room was a good size on ground floor, nice and clean, comfortable beds.

This is the first time we stayed at this Premier Inn. Their Premier Plus rooms we would highly recommend. Lovely comfortable room and very quiet. It was nice to see an attentive and young staff running the reception area. Well done to them. ☺️ Would definitely stay again.

Great room, good amount of parking ( through the arch! ). Service was a bit …. disjointed is the only word I can use , both in restaurant and drinks area ( doesn't actually have a bar ). Great staff but often diverted . We have used a lot of hotels and eateries across Europe and the UK - and although it was not a bad experience , and in fact was actually more than OK . but it didn't flow …. hard to express- lack of staff and untrained - maybe. Unlucky ( possibly - no cooked breakfast on the Sunday morning - which they did refund the difference £2 each ) The "Continental" breakfast was OK, but was not continental- no meats or cheeses - just croissants and pastries - which were OK, and they did give a list of local places to eat ! It was all OK - staff and rooms bringing it up to 4* .

Good hotel. Helpful staff. Food was so so. I was horrified by the internet connection. Just over 1mb speed in 21st century is not acceptable.

The best unlimited breakfast that I really loved. Really friendly staff and lovely people here. We would go again. Just how clean it is to its mark. Even though the restaurant closed hope it open next time we come again. A fantastic hotel for a good value price. Well high recommended place.

Quiet location and a small supermarket next door which is very handy if doing own catering. Lovely staff and breakfast area. The accessible room we had was very good, just a bit further from the entrance than some of the other premier Inn. Ideal for touring the area.

Rooms are comfy and breakfast wasn't too bad however..... What ever you do don't not eat here in the evening! Orders forgotten half the menu not available and then around and hour wait when the place is empty. Duty manager at the time didn't really seem to care either!
