The woman who works/serves in here is incredibly rude and very miserable. All she wants is your money and does not offer a smile of service. Horrible little thing and worst of all the food is pretty disgusting with chips that droop when you hold them and about two bits of chicken (probably dog) in their fried rice.

Well 1st time we have tried here. Ordering was very pleasant very polite. 30 min wait well it came in 20 mins piping hot food. The amount of food was huge Salt and pepper chicken there where 2 chicken breast cut up and no grease what so ever. Egg fried rice was in a large tray husband could not eat all. Special chow main Lots of meat their were no scrimping on the meat no greasy which is excellent. Side order of prawns on toast well these beast Are the biggest I have ever seen . And an extra large potion of prawn crackers Well done lucky lotus will definitely recommend and will order again

A last minute decision led us to The Lucky Lotus and so glad we did. We were visiting the area and whilst looking for a Monday night takeaway decided on this place. The food was cooked fresh and very hot, taste was great. The place itself is nothing special with the inside looking very 'tired' but they were fully Covid safe with available sanitizer and masks worn. We will be back.

I used to use this Chinese almost always when I lived in Buxton and I'm visiting at the moment due to family emergency so decided to go there. The lady overcharged me then stating "new prices to the large board inside" so I checked the paper menu and it was still £5 over which she handed over and apologized but the Lemon Chicken was virtually cremated & so I called to complain "she said something about me not being a regular customer" & was pretty rude but agreed to refund me. I went in the next day & she did try to give me the whole amount but I only wanted refunding for the chicken as the rest was fine! I'm really disappointed as this used to be my favourite Chinese in Buxton ! This business needs to up there game ... Sorry Lucky Lotus but it's the truth.

Best Chinese I've ever had, and I've eaten some serious Chinese. Top quality customer service, nice bloke on the phone, faster delivery than I was expecting, and incredible food! We had sweet and sour prawn balls, crispy shredded chicken in OK sauce, crispy shredded beef (plain), salt and pepper chips, and pork chow mein Thanks Lucky Lotus, we will be ordering again!
