Great experience!! We spent the complete hout to get out the pyramid, so much fun. Totally want to do it again. Price is a bit expensive, hope it will go down soon in the future and there will be more VR places and new games! Thanks for the Groupon offer, it was really nice!!!!!

Amazing experience. Super fun, intuitive and immersive. Great team working there as well, friendly and helpful with everything.

Kids just loved it here and had lots of fun. The videos of them playing later were a nice surprise too.

The game started 20 minutes late. Glasses didn't work. Unfortunately, games were also disappointing. Arcades were short and amusing but too few, so you have to play the exact same run a second time. Game 2 was very monotonous. You had to fight for 30 minutes by just pressing 1 button the whole time and not moving at all. Unfortunately, the glasses that had problems at the beginning kept failing during the game and I could only see black squares or sometimes nothing at all. For my child, the picture was blurry the whole time. The video of the game didn't work in the end either. We definitely expected more from the Holocafe. Try it once ok, but nothing more.

Amazing experience. We played the Escape from the Pyramids and it was a lot of fun. Super easy and the game is well developed. You really get sucked into it and don't even realize the time go by. It's definitely something you should do! The staff were super helpful and super friendly. They speak English and walk you through everything. It's a new way of gaming and I loved it.

This was a lot of fun. I'm no gamer. Last console I played was the Super Nintendo. Despite this the VR game was so much. Being in the VR world felt so real! This is definitely an experience you should try. We played the Halloween Horror game, a shoot-em-up game. I also want to highlight the great staff. Their English was impecable and their knowledgeable of gaming, VR and willingness to explain was high. Only thing I can complain about is the price. 18 euro for 20 min of VR gaming (30 min if you include instructions and testing) is a bit steep for regular visits.

Above expectations. I wasn't so sure about it, but we had a wonderful time. The venue is nice the games fun to play and the staff very nice.

It is a nice venue with friendly staff. It has a chill vibe and is good for meeting friends to play games. My only critique is that the selection of foods is quite limited

The place to be in Düsseldorf if you 're into VR or augmented games. The creepy girl doll at the end of the hallway nearby the toilets is the icing on the cake 😅

Every Friday there are board game meetings that you can take part in. Perfect for trying out new board games! Just fantastic!

A great experience. Everyone has fun here. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve tried virtual reality before or not. Lots of games to choose from, all of which are fun. The staff are nice and there are good, inexpensive drinks.

It was a fun experience to try VR with friends for the first time

Had a birthday party here once, was a great time! It was a group of 15 people or so, (not all of my friends knew each other before) but the games were really helpful in this case. They got chances to play with different people, and the whole group got warmed up pretty quickly. Alles top!!!

Very nice employee, everything was clean. Escape game was great, great picture quality and was fun.

A great café where you can have coffee and milkshakes etc. in a modern atmosphere. The best thing, of course, are the many 3D games that you can book online for 2-4 people and that are great fun. Also ideal for rainy weekends with the kids!

Very modern and cool place. Staff were nice and helpful. Played Escape the Lost Pyramid with my girlfriend. It was both our first VR experience and we both had a lot of fun with no difficulties. It was quite expensive but totally worth it!

The game was really fun, one star for that. Otherwise very bad staff! First of all, you immediately feel unwelcome. The staff didn't notice me the whole time until I took the initiative. Afterwards we chose a game and nothing was explained to us. The time didn't stop at all and continued until we realized how the game works. 0 interaction. I left there really disappointed. Never again.

There was very little going on that evening. We finished in half the time and had to wait 5 minutes before we were let out of the room. A cool thing in itself, but definitely too expensive for what it offers.

Was OK. There were 4 of us and we played two arcade games; Chaos Commando and Pulse. Both games were really a lot of fun. If only there hadn't been any technical difficulties... the service could have been a little better... There was no introduction to the games. We had to find out how the controls worked over the course of the games. Two VR headsets went out during the Pulse game; Battery empty. The first time we were able to have fun with it, but by the second time it was just annoying. The game continued and while the battery was being replaced, you had no choice but to watch the other players. The video at the end didn't work either. This was probably thanks to the empty VR headsets. These are complications that could have been avoided and unfortunately had a negative impact on our enjoyment of the game. Nevertheless, we had fun. Unfortunately I can only give it 3 stars.

I've been going to the Holocafé Düsseldorf for several years. I think the games are great and the explanations were detailed and helpful. But since I now know almost all the escape games, I would be happy if a new program came out soon, otherwise there wouldn't be any other opportunities to go. A small point of criticism about the games too - sometimes there were minor bugs, for example the arms suddenly hung in front of you in the scene and especially the game "Prince of Persia" or something similar was completely buggy and that made progress very difficult. I think that's out now, but it would be nice to have new titles here. Therefore a small star deduction but otherwise the experience was really great, especially the first time.
