We have reserved a table for me, my pregnant wife and our toddler. Due to bad weather, we decided to call the location and ask if it is possible to be 30 minutes late than the reservation time. They have said that it is only possible to hold it for 15min and we need to wait there if we are later than 15min. We explained that it is not possible for my wife to wait without eating. They didn’t care and insisted that they can only do 15 minutes and that’s it. We couldn’t risk waiting so we decided to cancel the reservation. I believe this is a very bad customer relationship.

Best steak in the Netherlands, lovely new location.

Like Loetje in Laren. Had lunch, large portions (too large for small eaters) and therefore a bit pricey, hence the 4*. Service was very correct and friendly. Everything we ordered was tasty. In short: the Loetjes style.

Great location of this popular concept in the Netherlands. Not cheap, but great steaks. Reservations highly recommended. We were there Christmas Eve and things were a little bit hectic, but still we got our food after just a little wait

I regularly go out for dinner with 4 friends, this time it was Hilversum's turn and that was a good excuse to join this "new Loetje". We were a bit hesitant, because the first reviews were not really positive. Well, that turned out to be completely unjustified. The welcome was warm and we had enough space for 5 to sit comfortably at the table. The service was friendly and (indeed) quick to arrange a drink. We had a lot of catching up to do so it took a while before we were ready to share what we actually wanted to eat, but at no point did we feel like we had to hurry. We can be brief about the food; good portions and very tasty. All in all, definitely recommended.

Sometimes it’s not a good idea to ultra commercialize a beautiful Amsterdam concept. Loetje Laren was fun and cozy. Loetje Amsterdam (many locations) are also cozy. And that counts for many Loetjes… but the Hilversum location just doesn’t cut it. The food is the same compared to all the other locations (guess that’s the easy part in the “McDonalds of Tourndos”). The price quality ratio compared to other places in Hilversum is way off! Next, the atmosphere is just not inviting. It’s like sitting at FEBO on a rainy day. The space is just not inviting! A factory.. cold, sterile.. simply put not “gezellig” The service has much to desire for. Friendly (I give m that) but my salad never came.. anyway, Long story short.. If you want to have a Loetje experience go elsewhere. This location doesn’t have it.

A new location in the center of Hilversum. Steaks as always fantastic.

We went with a group to celebrate a birthday. Perhaps its because its still new but the place is lacking in ambiance and the hard plain wooden chairs give it a fast food, eat and go, vibe. Staff is friendly but got our order wrong. Food is delicious but unfortunately two of the group ended the night in bed with stomach cramps and a bucket next to them. Such high hopes but we will not come again.

We were so happy about the opening of Loetje in Hilversum and made a reservation weeks in advance. We were kind enough to call to let them know that we will be more than 15 minutes late as the weather was really bad. However, they said it is not possible and we have to wait now for a new table. We explained our situation and lady on the phone, just did not care. Very bad customer service, they only think about the extra money that they can make, second time Loetje disappointed me and it will be the last time as we will never go there again.

We had a steak with sweet potato fries. The jus was delicious. They serve bread to soak it up, too. The restaurant was packed when we went, so it was a little noisy. Seems to be a popular family place. Some nice atmospheric decorations. We had a good time.
