This particular outlet in Hilversum is different to many others managed under the same brand. Why? Simple, it has great atmosphere, lovely layout of the place, fine, professional service one get and not to forget the good stuff they feature from the menu. Yummy. Recommended

The thought occurred to me as I walked outside to visit a café in the heart of Hilversum that I had never tried before. I went to Bagels & Beans! It has a three-story structure and provides a soothing atmosphere. The service? It is excellent, to boot! Without knowing what to expect, I ordered a caramel latte and an Alaskan Zalm with capers and salad with avocado! I initially wanted to have coffee only, but with everyone eating, the urge to do the same occurred. It was my first experience and not my last! 😊

Amazing food and real sourcing care. Not too pretentious, their product sourcing stories are truly inspiring. No air-conditioning. But then again this is the Netherlands, but on one of the hottest days in July (36'C) it wouldn't have been too much.

Nice place, good lunch or breakfast. service is good. I will not describe it as extraordinary place cuz there are lots of this type cafe's and there specialty is not extremely good. But if u don't know what to eat u can definitely find something nice there.

We arrived at 13:15. One hour later we were still waiting for our food. The place wasn’t crowded at all. Plus, they gave to me a salad that I didn’t order.

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. It’s always good food and coffee. Through the years I’ve had a lot of favorite bagels and drinks. These are a few: cinnamon latte, cheesecake, carrot cake, salted caramel chocolate cake, cappuccino, wild salmon Japanse style, Avocado Cream cheese bagel and my new favorite is the pulled paddo bagel. So delicious 😋 but be careful the cream cheese doesn’t drip off on all sides 😂

Fantastic place serving healthy & tasty meals. Friendly people, fast service. Place is small especially during weekends it's difficult to find a table.

I really wanted to like this place, but I have to be entirely honest. From the time I walked in, I felt that the waiters weren't very welcoming. They seemed preoccupied, as if overwhelmed even though it didn't seem busy in the restaurant. I could be wrong about that, though. Once I placed my order and went to my seat, I waited over half an hour, but my bagel never arrived. I finally decided to say something. Turns out there had been a mistake and my bagel had been given to someone else and they didn't realize I was still waiting for so long. They apologized, and blamed it on their colleague who wasn't even there when I placed the order. Apparently there was some miscommunication. That's okay, it happens. But I felt like they were quick to act like they didn't do anything that wrong. The bagel was delicious, although, if you're used to American bagels, that's not what they serve here. What I got, at least, was just a regular bun. It wasn't what I expected, but it was still very good. So, no complaints about the food itself, just the overall experience was not a pleasant one at all.

Extremely slow and terrble quality. For 7.50€ you get a stale bagel and packaged processed deli meat, in 30minutes. Better quality can be found anywhere else in the city. Never again

Lovely place for lunch with plenty of atmosphere, great coffee in proper mugs and deliciously filled bagels (also gluten free available)

Good coffee, delicious bagels. Only downside is that they don't adhere to the current corona regulations (no reservations, no questions asked about health, no voluntary registration, tables 50 centimeters from each other). You may agree or disagree with the current regulations, but it's only fair of all establishments to adhere to them equally.

I ordered a Mother's Day brunch for my mother from Bagels and Beans Hilversum. The bagels, cheesecakes, and juices were fresh and delicious, as always! Beautifully packed. They went the extra mile to add in a card and presented a rose for my mother at the doorstep. This place has always been more than just amazing food, it's full of amazing people. Thank you, team! ❤️

Beautiful ambiance and a lovely place to meet and chat over bagels and koffie

Very very baddd experience for me and my boyfriend. We came on a Monday lunch which should not be so busy. We waited for more than 1 hour for our food. When asked the waitress, she said "Oh i dont know. what do you order? and keep saying I dont know" instead of giving me an answer as to my order and waiting time. I was very angry and had to order a cake to wait. there is no one in charge and we paid fully for everything without an apology for their mistake. They said they lost my ticket but still did not push for the food at our table. Other tables coming later had everything before us still. Like literrally what is that kind of service??? Never come back here again, very inexperienced people working.

Not 'very' cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. Price-quality is excellent. Loved the cappuccino but regretted not grabbing the chocolate milk my gf ordered the second our drinks came. Bagels were great, fresh, well-topped and my choice of mushroom croquettes tasted very well balanced and I had all the toppings and sauce I could have asked for. Friendly staff too and great atmosphere!

Pretty mediocre cafe, though great for a small pit stop while shopping. Interior is outdated and the seats outside are placed on one of the busiest streets of Hilversum. Food here is nice, very filling and worth its’ money. Haven’t tried their coffee, but their teas are great - I suggest you get them, you won’t regret it. As for the service - very average but quick, nothing too special.
