Went here with work and we were in a group of 18. The service was spot on, the food was lovely and the lunchtime menu represents bloody good value. Can't moan and won't. I had the rump for main and a cheesy mushroom starter. The beef dripping sauce is lovely too, so a bonus point for that. Overall, great food, great service and even with a large group we weren't waiting hours. The place has been done out a lot since it was the harvester (although I do miss that salad cart 👀) and before that the Three Pots (and they only served panda pops and crisps). Yep, well worth a visit I'd say👍🏻

Not long left here, the experience from start to finish was fab! The staff were so warm welcoming and very attentive. We were seated very quickly, the table was dressed lovely and the drinks were flowing in no time. The food was absolutely faultless. I’m not a massive fan of turkey! But this was cooked to Perfection! Massive thank you to all the staff working today, you were all amazing! And we would definitely come back. Merry Christmas! Thank you 😊

We dined here tonight, and the service was TERRIBLE. We had a late booking for 21:30; we arrived at 21:15, and the moment we sat down, our waitress asked us what we wanted to drink. We were busy with our baby and asked her to come back. She gave us two minutes, literally, and came back. Our son was screaming his head off, and she just exacerbated the situation, which was so unkind and unpleasant. In the same breath, she rushed us to place our food order, which we did under duress (having had no time to look at the menu). Then she started talking to us through our baby. He was watching a show on the phone. The show says where the dog? she comes over and says, “Where is the black dog?” Excuse me, why black? Given the racial history of white and black people, I found this offensive and covertly racist. She came back and kept adlibating the show rather loudly, was highly annoying, and kept saying “goodnight baby” when my son was wide awake. We had no alone time!  All she wanted was for us to bolt our food down so she could clear the table. When my partner asked for the bill, as we were just sick of her. She smiled, said, "certainly," and winked over at her colleagues. At this point, it confirmed for me that this lady was intentionally giving us rushed service. She hovered around every 5 minutes; we couldn't even have a conversation amongst ourselves. It was so horrible that our little date night was being ruined, and we paid for it. If you are going to provide bad service after a certain time, why offer bookings until 21:45? It doesn't make sense. This lady's behaviour was out of order! Coming from London, where late-night dining is embraced and the standard doesn't slack at anytime. It was a real shock. I did not catch our waitress name but she has a stong resemblance to 'maleficent'. I would never go back to another Miller and Carter. Overpriced steak, drinks, and bad customer service—no ta. I have been to much better places; just check my other Google reviews, and customer service was outstanding and every penny well spent. This place is an utter sham. The lovely red light you see we had to get ourselves from another table as ours was unlit and no one attempted to light it either. There was a young man who served us our food, and he was lovely, hospitable, and professional, but aside from him, 0 stars.

Miller and Carter rarely disappoints and this time I chose to go for the dirty burger over a steak. It comes with steak winglets also which is a nice touch. For the starter I always love the nachos as they are hand cooked biscuits almost instead of the Dorito style crisps however for some reason this time it was the Dorito style which was a little disappointing as that’s what makes the Miller and Carter nachos special. Other than that a nice meal as expected in a good location with decent parking.

Went for a birthday lunch, it was amazing. Steak is the best I have had in a very long time. Service is excellent, atmosphere is everything you would expect from a Miller & Carter venue.

Good solid Millers and carter's Chain steak restaurant - I do like it here Friendly, helpful staff, good food and nice atmosphere They have good parking at front and side and a covered outdoor seating area Standard interior for a M and C's which gives it a nice sort of American Italian Steak House theme, clean tidy and lots of fresh flowers We had the lunchtime special 12 - 3pm 2 courses about £15 or three for £18 Calamari to start followed by steak with beef dripping - mega! The onion fritters are mega and with the trip alone, beef dripping sauce is a must Well worth a little visit every month or so Solid chain IMO one of the best

👍👍 This was the first time I’ve been to an Italian that serves small plates and was very pleased. There was a good range of food on offer and the staff were very friendly and answered all our questions. They had plenty of veggie options (mostly cheese based). I’d recommend the mushroom bruschetta, goa...
