Great location in the hustle and bustle of the city. Staff are great, friendly and helpful. The rooms are really modern, well appointed, bright and airy with cute decor. Very homely, very clean. Fan and Aircon available. The TV has multiple streaming apps. fridge and wardrobe both in the room. Shower powerful and hot 😊 laundry provided at 30k a kilo. Breakfast included was absolutely delicious. Only slight con is there's no lift available, which means quite a few stairs if you're staying on a top floor. Multiple tours/ buses available to book at reception. Definitely a favourite stay of ours.

Just book this place, it has almost everything. The best part is the amazing owner. She's extremely kind, polite, and helpful. Always smiling. A true pro. She was kind enough to help us more than once, when it would have been absolutely understandable even if she didn't. Great breakfast. 10/10 location. Some of the best prices I found while looking at properties in the area. The bathroom is small. But big enough that we didn't even notice after the second day. The receptionist who's employed there is top-5 rudest people I met on my month long trip in Vietnam. Rolling eyes, making faces at simple queries. But the owners generosity & kindness made us forget all of it. It's probably due to her being very kind that he's still employed actually.

Great stay. Very kind owner! Breakfast is delicious. Fried egg banh mi and banana pancakes were my go to with hot or iced coffee. Laundry was easy to have done, drop it off in the morning and pick it up in the evening. Nicely folded as well, very kind! Did both the Mekong Delta tour and Chi Chi Tunnels, highly reccomend! Easy to walk to alot of the attraction. Also easy access to public transport. Very kind people and highly recommend!

Very quiet and comfortable room. The lady who runs it is so sweet and can't do enough for you. A tasty choice of breakfast is provided each morning. The shower was reliably nice and hot. Free drinking water is available to refill downstairs. Laundry is even available for only 30,000 dong / kg. No wonder this hostel has such a good reputation and is busy with visitors - you can usually guarantee to bump into people and have a chat here. Cảm ơn Long Hostel! 🤍

In over 2 months of travelling I haven't been genuinely sad to check out of anywhere. This place is great. Rooms are spot on, AC good. Showers perfect. The 'wetroom' bathroom drains really well so bathroom not flooded. Breakfast is sooooo nice and the coffee, 2 free beers a day at happy hour. Station to refill water. It's less than 5 min walk from walking st. And the atmosphere is great to properly relax in. The owners have a lovely family. And the time spent talking to guests from all over the world made the place. Great place to stay!

I’d suggest this hostel to my best friend. The Service is outstanding, they have been so kind and accommodating, my flight was delayed and I arrived at the hostel around 4am, in the middle of the night. They told me it wasn’t a problem, they quickly let me check in and they also gave me an empty room so I wouldn’t bother other guests. A big thank you! The place itself is like many other hostels, nice basic rooms and friendly common area. The price is 160k/1 night/1 bed in dorm with a/c, towel, hot shower, the WiFi is very good (also in the room), free water dispenser and breakfast included. You can book the Mekong 1 day tour for 500k. The location is perfect.

Good Hostel for stopover of 2-3 days. It met expectation and cheap also Liked · We were looking for a room for just a day to stopover. The Hostel was good the room was comfortable. The hostel is at walkable distance from all the attractions, party areas etc. WiFI was good. Disliked · The only downside is the room was on 3rd floor and there is no elevator. So it would be difficult to carry your bags(if they are big and if you got the room at 3rd floor)/

Best hostel in Ho Chi Minh City. The owners are fantastic people, very helpful and always kind to everyone. The location is very good. They serve breakfast every morning on a large table where you can meet other travellers if you wish. Rooms are nice and clean, and the place is very quiet at night. 100% recommended.

Cute and quiet little hostel in a great location in District 1. Only about a 20 minute walk from the War Museum and a stones throw from the backpackers area/walking street with lots of bars and food. We stayed in a private room with ensuite which was reasonably priced. It was basic but good for a short stay. Free breakfast was awesome (banana pancakes, passion fruit juice and coffee were super tasty). The host was so lovely and helpful, we booked our tour to the tunnels through her and that was fab. She was also kind enough to store our bags and let us come back and use the shower with clean towels after we’d checked out before our flight. Definitely recommend to someone looking for a chilled stay in a buzzy location in Ho Chi Minh.

Great hostel in the center of Saigon, the owner is super nice and friendly. Their free breakfast is good, try the banana pancake. They have free beers (2) between 7-9. Tour to cu chi tunnels was a bit sketchy. Shower in private room on the fourth level had little to no pressure. Some hostels in the same street might be better for solo travelers but overall good.

The rooms are clean and have all required amenities. The owner is also extremely helpful. If the room is available she allows early check in and also keeps luggage if you have a late flight to catch or something. I would definitely recommend this place for this budget.

At first we were given a key to a room which was already taken and we got the key to our room only next day. Because of that we could not enter the hostel at night, we had to call the owner but she was quite quick. The staff isn’t helpful with transfers like in other places in Vietnam. Location is good. Our room was on the 4th floor with no elevator, nothing fancy but works for its price.

Stayed 4 nights at Long Hostel. The room was really cute - colourful and well-decorated, with AC and a fan, and even a little patio. The included breakfast was great, especially the banana pancake. You need to try the banana pancake. Hosts were friendly and welcoming, and very helpful in giving us tips for onward travel to a lesser-used border of Cambodia. In terms of location, it's quiet, but still walking distance from all of the major tourist sites in HCMC. Would definitely stay again!

This is an absolute gem of a place in Ho Chi Minh. If you’re looking at an affordable place to stay whether you’re a local or a tourist, this is the spot. The ac is wonderful along with the toilet and shower. You can book a private double bed room or I believe there’s communal bunk beds but not sure. Super close to Bui Vien which is awesome - can have beers/food every night on the street then be back fairly quickly. The staff were so kind and even printed out some papers for me, free of charge. Will definitely be staying again when I go back to Ho Chi Minh.

A great location that is still very quiet and safe, helpful and kind owners, free delicious breakfast, would recommend staying here. Our room was in the front of the building and had a great little balcony for sitting out on and having the door open for a breeze. The room could use a deep clean of dust and spiderwebs and the bed was very uncomfortable unfortunately.

Hostel is at a Central location I didn't have a lot of complaints other than late check in but that is understandable. The hostel is run by a very nice family and every one is very helpful despite language issues. Surrounding area of hostel is full of street food market as well as the famous Bui Ven Street also 5 hundred metres away.

We had a nice couples stay here for 4 nights while visiting Saigon. We stayed in a private room, which was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is convenient and you're only a few minutes walk from multiple bus operators. The breakfast was excellent, I'd definitely recommend the banana pancakes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend taking one of the tours organised through the hostel, we did both the Saigon unseen bike tour and the Cu Chi tunnels tour and had a great time only both. Only things we could criticise were the pillows and shower which weren't great but honestly that's nitpicking and it's hard to complain given the price.

We recently stayed at Long Hostel in Ho Chi Minh City and had a fantastic experience. The hostel offers good facilities at affordable prices, making it a great choice for budget travelers. One of the highlights of Long Hostel is its location. It is conveniently situated in close proximity to popular tourist spots like the War Remnants Museum and Independence Palace. This made it incredibly convenient for me to explore these attractions without having to travel too far. The hostel itself is clean and well-maintained. The rooms are comfortable and provide a cozy atmosphere for a good night's sleep. The staff members are friendly and always ready to assist with any queries or requests. The breakfast at Long Hostel was decent, offering a sufficient start to the day. While the choices were limited, the food was tasty and provided the necessary energy for a day of sightseeing.

Cam (the lady who runs this place) is the sweetest and most helpful. Checked me in early bc I got in early from the night bus and then kept helping me in the sweetest way even though I checked out the next day. Great hospitality and solid beds with great AC. Would highly recommend

We stayed here for 5 nights in a mixed 4 bed dorm. The beds were comfortable, the aircon was powerful and the curtains around the beds were black out. The showers were powerful and we got towels every 2 days. There were lockers you could lock your belongings in. There was a free breakfast included each morning from 7am-9am which was very welcomed and there was at least 4 options of drink and meal. The staff were very friendly and although there was no tea / coffee making facilities, when asked the staff would get us regular hot cups of water for our own tea bags. The location was great and not far from local sightseeing spots. Only thing to note was the doors on the balconies of the rooms were not completely sealed so you could hear the hustle and bustle from outside from about 6am but that did not matter too much. Overall good stay and would definitely stay again!

We stayed here before, it was really nice rooms breakfast and service but this second time she told us that our room had some problems so she put us on a room in the hotel next door, we lost the balcony, horrible beds and we got woke up 5 times during the night with the sound of the elevator that was next to our room Didn't wanted to be to hard on her but we would appreciate if she told us before hand so we start looking for another place by ourselfs.

Literally the best place I stayed in all of Vietnam! They have thought of everything you'll need and their service is exceptional. You walk in and they greet you with a cold bottled water and breakfast which was the best banana pancake I've ever had!! The place was clean, doors kept locked (everyone in the room has a key) ac in the room, super soft sheets, charging port and light by every bed, hot water for shower, refill water bottle, literally the only thing I wanted was a flat sheet on top of me. All they have is a fleece blanket. But really, I would move in. There actually are people that live there. It's literally the best. They are the sweetest, so glad I stayed there. I would have paid more!! So worth the price!!

Read the great reviews before booking here and was still pleasantly surprised. The hostel was very clean, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and their breakfast was delicious! They even made some homemade food for their own lunch and shared with the hostel! Happy hour is 7-9pm, 2 free beers each and the hostel comes alive with everyone hanging out in the main area together. We always felt that our stuff was safe too! Location is right in the backpacker area, lots of food and bars within 5 min walking distance and the rest of the touristy stuff is about a 20 min walk. Highly recommend, will definitely stay here again next time!

Social hostel and great value. Stayed on the 4th floor in a 4-bed dorm with a balcony, bathroom, and lockers. The room/bed was great and very comfortable. Filling breakfast with drinks is included every morning. Happy hour from 7-9pm in the lobby with 2 beers included each night that makes for a very social atmosphere. Really easy to meet other people here. This hostel is in a backpacker's alley in District 1 nearby some very busy areas, but the alley itself is very quiet. Many other hostels in the alley, so it's very easy to get other accommodations if one is full.

Clean hostel with spacious rooms and good aircon. Nice social area downstairs with two free beers a night! Great decent breakfasts, banana pancake is delicious. There are lockers in each room but the only complaint is the code on each dorm is the same, so a lack in security. We had an unexpected drunken guest with the wrong room in the middle of the night!

Great hostel. Knowledgeable staff. Got a room on the top with a private outdoor patio. Happy hour between 7-9 ever day (2 free beers per person). Free breakfast in the morning. Pretty happy with my stay.

Good, clean rooms at a fair price, and in a great location in district 1. The host was super nice and provided lots of helpful information. The renovations are supposed to be completed in three days and they will start serving breakfast again. You will be glad you stayed here.

We stayed 3 nights in a private room. At the beginning we were concerned as we wanted to stay in lively hostel but in the ground floor there was a reconstruction going on. This information should be given in advance. Also because of that there was a confusement about breakfast which was not included in that time but Hostelworl still showed the sign of breakfast included. However, the lady owner handled us kindly and offered us with cancelling reservation partially or fully because of these issues. We got the private room at the top which was very comfortable, quiet and cozy. There is aslo a small terasse to have a cigarette if you want. The room we got for very fair price. At the end we were satisfied and that is why I decided to forgive the issues with breakfast and reconstruction and give full rating. At the end, for the price we pai, we got very good room and liked the place. I hope to come back once when the reconstruction is finished and the hostel is full of backpackers and activities. This hostel should be one of your top choices in Saigon centre!

Perfect homestay with dormitories, the location is amazing, nearby backpacker street, and the owners are absolutely adorable. They are welcoming, warm and arranging for any case. I highly recommend!

Really nice hostel and very well located! The owner was really kind all the time and she really knows how to receive her guests! The room was clean and the fact of being just four beds is good! The common area is also nice with many board games. We also enjoy the tasty breakfast. A perfect hostel to stay to explore Ho Chi Minh city

Gem of a hostel with kind, caring and helpful owners (Cam always with a smile speaks great English too) and clean, cozy, well-equipped rooms. Included is a delicious breakfast (banana pancakes are yummy). You won't find a better central hostel out there, since it is close to Walking street and many shops/restaurant/nightlife in District 1. Definitely recommend!

A clean and quiet hostel that is very affordable and a low cost. The location is roughly a 25 minute walk from the old presidential palace making it pretty central. The women who runs the place is as lovely as they come as when I was in a rush to print a visa she did it for me. The breakfast included is simple but gives you a good start to the day.

Decent clean rooms with a clean bed and the washroom is very clean too with hot water . The owner is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a bonus as well. Please try the banana pancakes and the coffee with ice . Definitely recommend .

Great location, comfortable beds and yummy breakfast. The receptionists were very helpful and various landmarks were within walking distance. There's also a great market and mall just round the corner. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent! The service in this hostel strikes the perfect balance between being unobtrusive but exceptional in every detail. The staff went above and beyond to make sure the guests are having a great time. Th-roughly recommenced!!!

Everything was great, the owner of the hostel is terrific, extremely helpful, and will definitely give you the most honest and the best advice. The aircon and hot water is working well, the breakfast is very good and good place to meet other travellers. It is also great location and quite in the night in the same time. Really good value for that money. They also offered tours and loundry service, so everything you need
